BLOOD PRESSURE is the pressure of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Arteries carry blood from the heart to other parts of the body. One thing about blood pressure is that, it normally rises and falls throughout the day.

One of the most dangerous thing about high blood pressure is that you may not even know that you have it. The only way can know, if your blood pressure reading is HIGH, is through regular check-ups. A blood pressure appears as two numbers. The first and higher of the two is a measure of arteries when the heart beats and fills them with blood. The second number measures diastolic pressure or the pressure in the arteries when the heart filling and resting between heart beats.
