Why not let others "rant" in 'futility' if that is their free and adult choice? Why does it bother you to the extent you have to speak? If you don't like discussing issues, why disturb others who do? Does the forum belong to you that you now get to decide what is "rantings" and what is not? Why don't you simply ignore the thread?

I can see this topic is urs to feed on as your name so smell all around it... I do not wish to discourage critics nor commentators of ur kind from airing their views on certain annoying issues which may likely remain unattended to... Unlike Jerry Gana, Mr. Maku have been more accountable and dedicated to the affairs of the Nation this, as evident in the Good Governance Tour and his stands on competency and dedication. That apart, I shall not fail to commend the Gov. of Benue State Mr. Suswan for his relentless effort towards d development of the State, though there is much to be done.

Though the government need to tighten some loose ends but with this, I think it will go a long way to check the activities of the State governments and will instill the zeal to deliver effectively to the people.

Who ever told them that the sack of Min. of Petroleum Resources will transform the oil industry? We re indeed leaving the substance for the shell... The solutions doesn't lie in the sack and prosecution of the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Labour, SNG and others rather, with the ability to effectively privatize our refineries to curb the excessive waste and decay act exiting therein.

Drawing from the obvious achievements as mentioned above, one can happily and graciously commend the present Governor of the State Mr. Jang, though in the light of dis-order in some part of the State, the Governor have been able to manage these challenges to better the lot of the citizens. A show of good governance indeed.

It is high time we commend and truly appreciate the works of Mr. President, though he may not be as eloquent as Obama, I know one thing, he is got the mind of Change, which drives his administration. For a strong opposition like NLC to laud his effort in delivering a credible, free and fair election in Ondo, then, he deserves it.

Many are stuck on Facebook,twitter, Nairaland, and BB all day criticising Jonathan without any proper knowledge of what is going on. Nigeria is a vast country. It is easy to see developmental projects embarked upon by a state Governor in his capital than to see the efforts of FG across the length and breadth of the country. Somebody in Lagos can only assess what the govt is doing in Plateau through the media which could be very unreliable.

This National Good Governance tour offers both critics and praise singers alike the opportunity to make an assessment of both the state and federal government in each state.
It behoves on those close to these project sites to ascertain the veracity of govts claims with regards to the projects. If it is true, let them come to Nairaland and confirm. If it is a lie, let's have it exposed on Nairaland. That is the best way to go about it.

I think the governors' grouse is that they have invested heavily in the power sector in their various states and have a more accomplished technical partner than the winner and that the bidding process itself was flawed.

Seriously, invested in power sector! What is to show of it?
