flokii:Foresight!!!! Do you have one? Ah! No No No No!!! And you so it these senseless thoughts of yours... Obviously, another not you has got the 'Foresight'... Like your President, you are a SHAME. |
flokii: |
Rude you say!!! Well, am not surprised you think this way!!! You seem to posess a replical of buhari's reasoning, a low brainer! farouk0403: |
Sagamite:#Weeping The above comment shows how myopic and brainless the commentator is; I feel ashame for such person. It shows how little or nothing the commentator knows on leadership and administration. It goes further to picture the commentator as a person of low esteem, a sycophant and a disgruntled matter. Finally, from the commentator's diction you can sense depression and a decay matter. |
The problem with us lies in "TRIBALISM". Someone propose a solution (irrespective), and some tribe(s) see it as charade and senseless. How then do we intend to solve our problems? How then do we intend to move forward as a nation? "The earlier we quit this tribal war, the better the nation". |
iamjayboss:This is a sheer case of gross incompetence on the side of Mr. President and the Budget Minister and National Planning. To inform the citizen of budget padding on a very importance document which was to be reviewed by your office (President's) and or that of the Budget Minister's before submission at the NASS is laughable and an insult to Nigerians. It clearly shows an act of carelessness and or "taking Nigerians for a ride". I don't want to believe that the Budget2016 as important wouldn't have been reviewed by the necessary parties before onward transmission to the NASS. (See Paragraph 2 and 3 of the above press statement) I don't want to believe also, that the Presidency is in the know of the padding and inherent fraud in the Budget2016. Just saying... |
resty4:LOL! Indeed the CPC threat worked! This wakeup call is better late than never. |
I still want to believe that this is not a case of "witch-hunting" by the APC. Nigeria has witnessed more "pickups" than the much clamoured "Change". We need an obvious Change and not an obvious one sided "pickups" which is really not yielding any positive outcome than a noisy propaganda. |
Please what is wrong with calling a man a crazy man!? Wasn't Sawyer a crazy man? Is it coz the statement came from Mr. President? What is more crazy than the 'medical terrorism' instituted by Mr. Sawyer. He knew he was infected (obviously he was in the stage 3 of the Ebola signs and symptoms) yet came into Nigeria for no important course. Please let Mr. President be; there are better issues to dissect on than a genuine humane speech (if true) uttered by the President. |
omenka: Toddler talking about history. Oomf. What do you know about posterity? OBJ's letter is akin to a notorious armed robber who embarks on an anti robbery campaign. No sane mind will take him seriously. His motives are induced by self serving political interest and not altruistic in anyway. I mentioned history because History Reminds us of the failings of the past and guides us to avoid the pitfalls ahead. OBJ's history is replete with sufficient misdeeds and atrocities that we cannot forget in a hurry. He has a rich history of framing up and blackmailing people out of power and that is what he Intends to achieve in this letter. If you doubt it, ask Audu Ogbeh, Atiku and his likes. It is only logical that one should not put forward allegations which he is not sure of. But OBJ threw everything in the mix including this baseless allegation that "Jonathan is training snipers" in a failed bid to demonise GEJ. Only f.ools will buy that. Not me. |
This is politics. As we approach 2015, many amorphous groups will emerge to Endorce, criticise, or lambast this president. It's expected. Even in Bayelsa state, there are people who are loyal to deposed Governor Timipre sylva and who will not forgive mr Preident for snatching their meal ticket. It's normal in a democray. But it will be the height of political m.asturbation to take this to mean that Bayelsa people are unhappy with Jonathan. Anybody who does so, does so at his or her own peril |
omenka: I can bet my last breath Abati would live to regret his words. Why will he regret it? For defending his boss from rampaging and malicious attacks of Obasanjo? Where Were you when OBJ unleasehed the likes of FFK, Akin Osuntokun, Ojo Maduekwe to attack anyone who dared talk Ill of that administration? Many of you here on Nairaland need some tutorials on Nigeria's political history |
Mandelaguy: I read through the letter written by Obasanjo and I could just sense malice.Don't mind Obasanjo, he feels we all have amnesia and can't remember his days as president. It is only a fool that will take this his letter seriously. He is just trying to be mischievous at old age |
Demdem: How? Is requesting that agreement signed with them be fulfilled automatically mean that they are playing politics?Hey! Stop fooling yourself trying to defend the indefensible. This your argument would have made sense if it came up before the last meeting that President Jonathan had with the ASUU leaders. There is time for everything. The President came down from his high horse to discuss with ASUU. One expected that should have gone a long way to resolve the whole crisis but ASUU apears adamant and intent on wreaking havoc on the system. The decay in the system did not start today. It was neither caused by Jonathan. Even the man who was president and signed the 2009 agreement did not give ASUU a kobo. They just woke up 5 years later to hold GEJ to ransome. Yet the President has obliged them with over 200 billion but they are still playing politics. If I were the president, I would have sacked all of them a long time ago. |
Funny enough, this clown and his other counterparts in G7 want us to believe they are saints who will bring about good leadership at the center. GEJ may as well have my vote in 2015. |
This is what happens to a Governor who is desperate to cling unto any rubbish inorder to demonise the President. It is sheer hypocrisy to benefit immensely from a process and turn around to kick against it. I recall earlier this year that Ameachi led other Governors under NGF to demand some money from the ECA. When I read the news, I recall saying that NOI should not heed to the Governor's call because Thay are bound to eat it. But after mounting immense pressure on FG, the Governors had their way. Today, the same beneficiaries of the withdrawal are crying foul and expect discerning Nigerians to take them serioiusly. We can't be deceived. |
Somebody should tell Lai Mohammed that he has ran out of steam and should keep quiet for the following reasons: 1. Maku is information Minister and not the IG of police or service chief. 2. His role as supervisory minister of Defence Is temporal and purely administrative. 3. He is not the Governor of Nassarawa state whoose primary role is the protection of lives and property of Nassarawa citizens. 4. He is also not the National Security Advicer nor chief of Army staff. 5. He is an Eggon indegene but he has not been linked with the Ombatse group at all |
Basket mouth don start to leak again ooooo. Basket mouth don open mouth again oooo. There is only one lesson to be drawn from FFK, Parents Endeavour to bring up your child with wisdom so that when they grow old they cannot depart from it. A word is enough for the wise. |
I'm enjoying the Town hall meeting live session on NTA. It's very revealing on the state of projects in Kogi State. The explanation on dredging was spot on. I just got to know that state universities also benefit from TETFUNDs. Very incisive |
Mr OP, I want to use this medium to write you about what happened to Education Tax Fund. The education tax fund was repealed(abolished from existence) by the National Assembly in 2011, Consequent upon an executive bill forwarded by president Goodluck Jomathan, a new act was passed known as the Tertiary Education Trust fund Act 2011. That Act establishes TETFUND agency in place of ETF. TETFUND is charged with the responsibility for imposing, managing and disbursing the tax to Public tertiary institutions in Nigeria. You may see so many TETFUND projects in any higher institution closest to you. Accept the assurances of my highest consideration. Thanks. Yours faithfully, Mr Puntae. |
HNosegbe: It was not a "consensus". Oshiomhole is known to have expressed reservations on the idea. He never supported it from the get-go.How did u know he never supported it from the beginning, did he tell u first hand or u just got to know by reading it now on nairaland? This is my problem with critics and self centered hullabaloos, who derive joy from only dissecting issues from a blind's man view point... Pls, if u av better submission to this technical issue, u may submit same else, Bounce!!! |
From my cocoon I awake. Though I smell rat and mind play... Oshiomole can't feign ignorance to a decision made in the FEC meeting over the NGGT, unless this ploy of his, is to avert a massive disaster on the notice of the state's bankruptcy or a mis-management of the state fund towards infrastructural development... |
Bros abegi, it's good for you ooo! |
Gambrosia: Their lack of 'street-smartness'!So tell me Mr. First Class Kpakororo, is there anything to be glad about bin a Kpakororo? |
dapmillz: Well, I wear good quality shirts, so I hardly see my kinda shirt on a low status individual. Low status people don't wear good things nah...A*S*S W*I*P*E! You jus portrayed how stupid you re.... |
Wishing Team Eagles, victory...! |
It is now obvious that we ve totally lost touch of morality and constructive criticism, we now choose to employ the principles of subtle insult and loquacious criticism thereby murdering the essence of debating an issue. I wonder what message we seek to pass to the people on the podium of battering one another just to clarify issues. Are we now holier than the characters we criticise or praise? On both ends, picking out a few constructive submissions; you have made vital submissions and indeed deliberated on relevant issues. Whether Maku is or is not the best Information Minister, is inconsequential, what is relevant indeed is the fact which defines his been the 'best' or not. Truth be told and lets a spade be a spade and without prejudice, drawing from a pleatorial of the uncompromising effort of theHon. Minister, he deserves a credit. His unrelenting attitude towards change is indeed remarkable. Many, but to speak on one, the Good Governance Tour which presently still drives. |
Nonnyz: Yours is a bias one we don't need u here.. So PASS like ur doing....!Are you a Learner? I dey come make I finish office work come face una... I guess I was missed..Haha! |
STILL VIEWING THOUGH WITH AN INTEREST! |
Why the criticism, OBJ's statement carries wisdom which in its entirety may stand right, irrespective of the report of other observers... OBJ stands for the truth but not in Naija! |
A mal-nourished chalatan, suffering from a disease known as idiocy... Reading through this baseless piece, I cud only picture the face of a r.e.t.a.r.d who toll the line of the Saharas'. People now forgets that facts speaks for itself; the Good Governance Tour is indeed a fact which speaks positive volumes of the good works of the Hon. Minister. I believe this Chalatan, holds a grudge on the development of this Nation. A retard who probably derives joy from negativity... Lo and behold ye demon, I cast you back into the pit of hell! |
It's really a shame that NASS have resulted to habouring and sheltering criminals... This is a show of extreme shame! A public acceptance to a crime by the criminal who now is term a hero... Oh NASS, your acts of decay and incompetence you exhibit and I pray it burns before long... |
