Highly unlikely. The state where you REGISTERED for GIS scheme does not matter in the final scheme of things, hence the need to fill the Survey to determine your current state of Residence. " I was taken by a company in the east" What do you mean by this? Were you truly matched with the company in S. East, did you complete the process? What does your employment status on your GIS portal indicate?

I just received a text message telling me to come to Lagos for a test and interview for GIS at mayakorp. I also did the job fair held in September in my constituency and I was taken by a company in the east. I also remember that when I did my GIS registration I was in Lagos but after some years I decided to go back to the East to start my M.eng. My question is could it be the company that accepted in my constituency that linked me up to mayakorp in Lagos for an interview?

Hey guys! I got this text msg from Sure-p 2days ago. I had my verification exercise in Uyo on the 28th of August and I was thinking I would open an account with UBA on the day of merging with my prospective employer, only to receive this msg from Sure-p. I have been to the bank and they demanded I pay N2000 to open a savings account and not the aforementioned FREEDOM CLASSIC account. I don't know whether to go ahead and open the savings account or whether they UBA account guys are going to show up on the day of merging with my prospective employer. I need ur advice on this guys.

Just into d 2nd mnths with my employer n he's startd misbehaving. He refused to tick one day last month wen fillin d tym sheet for d month, my stipend for d day was witheld. I complaind to him n it bcame a problem. It's too early for dis. Is it possible for me to get disconnectd from Him again after accepting him? Ur advice 'll b appreciatd

There will be an Internship Fair in the following states before the end of this month: FCT, Plateau and Ogun/Osun state( Sorry, I always mix these two states up, will confirm the right one). Only THREE states before will the fair be conducted in before the end of this month.

Do you know any SURE-P-GIS-Approved company in Ondo that has not absorbed up to its approved number? If you do, just reply 'YES' and I could be of help. Clarification: If a company is approved to absorb 5 interns but have only absorbed 4 or less, and you are aware of such company, reply YES.

Employers are always informed by email to fill employees time-sheet with deadline stipulated.

Guys, I was sent an evaluation form in august but didn't see it until sometime in October. This was because of the problem I had with accessing my yahoo mail (security question). I filled the form anyway and submitted. But my fear is that anambara interns attended the fair and were matched in September (according to posts on nairaland) of which i was supposed to be part of. Is my opportunity gone for good? Or can I still hope to partake in the scheme? Your views will be highly appreciated.

Depending on size of Venue, Number of approved companies available. Not everyone that applied in every state are invited.

Hello all. My sister-in-law hasn't been paid since june. She was matched in feb and was paid till may. Her employer has sent countless mails, she has also sent mails. They later discovered her employer sent her acct number wrongly for june but it was later corrected in august but she still hasn't been paid. Her timesheet since june is up to date but payment status is reading 'pending'. She has called their number and they asked her to send her correct acct number which she did since aug but no payment still. What shd we do biko? Thanx

Perhaps. I only attended Anambra internship that was held on 16th September- Marble Arch Hotel, Awka and 17th September - Conv AJ Hotel, Nnewi. Ondo is on the list for Internship Fair from the 20th of October, perhaps a mistake to be included on the list.[quote author=Ajeseg post=27092332][/quote]
