You really didn't get the 'scope' initially, I believe you meant May 2014 as against May 2013 that you wrote. I guess you understand now after the clarifications from @Montmayorblanc. I would work on it when you send me the full details by email.

In all likelihood, the company in question is not yet approved. Easiest way to confirm their approval status would be to check if they get the "ACCESS DENIED" message once they login. Quote this comment when the company has made this simple approval status check..

I was matched manually with a firm in Lagos last December and Have since received my UBA account number.
But my status has not changed online, which I contacted the firm. They told me, that they are finding it difficult to log in their account sometimes They login but have not been able to accept interns profile. They have also mailed SURE-P office severally but No response yet.

What is your advice, the firm would love us to resume but they are not sure of our stipends so We are on hold at the moment.

Is there anything you can do from your position to help sort it out.

I understand the fact that dealing with Human beings is one huge task, and you can NEVER get everyone pleased. I came to this thread because I wanna help as many people as I could, not Necessarily to help with Fresh Matching, Re-match, Invitation to Internship Fair or Stipend issues, just to encourage and offer guide with my extensive knowledge of the scheme. Like I have always stated, I am not a SURE-P GIS personnel in any capacity, just someone who wants to offer a little help. I have an unenviable daily schedule but I still find out time to reply to over 30 SURE-P GIS-related emails that I receive daily, on the email address I use to contact interns, these emails are wholly from peeps on this thread. I have directly helped over 300 graduates get engaged in this scheme (Mainly outside this thread) either by initial Matching or by Re-match, so I believe I have earned a bragging right on this if I should desire one. I have NEVER asked for or solicited for any monetary/non monetary gift from any of these over 300 interns, but have come to value the lots of good-wishes messages that I have received. Only a handful of persons out of these number of interns have my Mobile number or my main email address, and NONE of these over 300 interns is directly related to me. I have on numerous occasions contacted companies, begged them to absorb interns, and got interns matched with them. In a short-while, I would cease to login in here to check this thread knowing that I have done my bit. I CANNOT possible help everyone here even if I wanted to. I do not consider prospective interns state of Origin, Tribe, Gender or any other factor before assisting them. I write this not necessarily in reply to the comments I have quoted here but more like to bare some facts. I have stated here earlier that I do not have new companies that I can match fresh interns with, so I have purposely ignored comments asking for fresh matches without providing company details for the matching. I am deeply grateful that I have helped a few persons here who have boldly stated so. Having attended many of the SURE-P GIS events, I know that this scheme, as little as the stipend is, offers a lot of persons Hope, experience and money to move on until such a time something better will come along. I met graduates who were earning N10,000, N15,000 monthly prior to this scheme. One of the first guys that I matched here, mailed me a week after the matching to explain to me why he stated on this thread "that his survival depended on this scheme". I urge some of you that feel that the money is too small for you, to know that you could get Good contacts, Permanent Employment, Knowledge, Experience etc from this scheme. I do not have anything against anyone who criticizes me here, I can only say that I have done the best I could do so far with my limited time and resources. I wish you all the Best. One Love. So sorry for you bro! I was attached to the same firm but refused to start work since the director, mr Adeyinka told me his account on the GIS could not be accessed to effect our Matching status. This prompted me to take the issue up by sending several mails to sure-p but got no reply since then. I think, the first procedure is to get matched online first before commencing work. My uba acct number is still empty since they sent it to me.

Let her register the school first on SURE-P website. Yes, SURE-P approves Schools. It takes between 4- 6 months most times for approval to be granted. It also depends on how soon the company tasked with 'Company verification' by SURE-P visits your company for verification and submits report to SURE-P. It's a lot faster if the company hoping for approval is submitted in a list of prospective companies for Internship Fair. Companies in this list are expected to be called up for Internship Fair, hence the priority treatment.
