I always encourage prospective interns not to give up. If all things fail, just get the venue of the fair and go there. In your case, drop your email address, check it few minutes after for instructions.

If you find yourself in that situation, seek for re-matching. It becomes a little complicated though when Offer has been accepted by both parties.

I believe they will allow you in once you explain to them that you received the text but couldn't find the email invitation. The venue has already been stated on this page.

Nov 10, I received a text message that said I should login into my email account to print my invitation letter but when I logged in, I didn't see any mail from Sure-P. I equally checked my spam folder but it wasn't there to. I don't even know when and where the fair is going to take place in Osun state. Please help me out. I believe you need to be re-matched to the company by SURE-P.

Thanks Puntersmind as I have earlier mentioned in my post, the firm is duly registered. my details were submitted to his GIS account on Nov 6 with a button to resend a request for me but that wouldnt work because uptill now I dont see any request on my email.

Consequently, my details have. NOT shown up on his homepage for ACCEPT/REJECT comfirmation button. I m anxiously waiting for ur input pls.

The case of FORECOM is under investigation by SURE-P GIS. Can't comment on it.

The problem I have with a lot of persons dropping their email addresses here for an invitation is that they don't check their e-mails on time to provide me with the requested information like Full name, Unique beneficiary code and phone number.

You guys are not alone. There are many other interns with issues related to this. A Non Governmental Organization - Sky Foundation got matched with interns two weeks ago in FCT, the interns were surprised when they realized that the supposed office of Sky Foundation turned out to be a hotel in Area 10. When one of them insisted that he would not want to work in a hotel, he was taken to a law firm in Gudu for the internship. These companies that apply to absorb interns were verified by a Vendor contracted by SURE-P, they have not done a good job on properly verifying the authenticity of some of these companies.

I have searched the whole of ilorin metropolis for Olahak Auditing Associates ,have been to the Corporate Affairs Commission, ministry of finance, Chamber of commerce etc .No information about the firm still, no single information about the firm online just surprised why they wouldn't contact interns matched to them at the fair.
Right now am fed up already, have wasted enough time and resources on this GIS of a thing.
I noticed that d GIS customer service lines are always switched off.

Why don't you visit the IT firm and ask them to their face if they are SURE-P approved, and ask what's holding-up the process?

Delighted to read your posts. I happen to be one of intern that attended Oct. 28 Ilorin fair. I was somewhat accepted by an IT firm who duly signed my employer confirmation form and bank form on that day which I have submitted at d fair.

However, after three days I noticed that nothing has changed in my online status still read 'not yet opportunity' , then I called the firm (interviewer) who promise to speak with boss about my issue.

After waiting for week without any reponse, I sent an sms msg which elicit a return call immediately from them explaining that they will soon do the necessary thing with my case, but unfortunately nothing really have changed, though still waiting. My fear only heightened when I read in the forum that some yet to be approved firm might present at the fair, praying I haven't fall victim to one of them, like what happened at enugu fair as explained by you on your earlier post.

YES, but there is a Caveat. SURE-P GIS is a very small unit under the umbrella of Federal Ministry of Finance (There is another unit - Supervision Unit - handled initial sensitization and workshops, not housed by Ministry of Finance). SURE-P GIS unit has a staff strength of less than 25 persons and they are very much limited on virtually anything you could think of; Resources, Coordination, Man-power etc. They are trying hard to justify their budget and their salaries. There are so many unresolved issues with Matching and 'Fall-outs' as a result of matching. I can go on and on about SURE-P GIS but the idea here is just to create a mental picture for you to understand that the unit may be handicapped in helping you get re-matched to a new company if and when you succeed in disengaging your current matching. Can't you make the man respond well?

Why write in 'All Cap'? What's your location? Are you sure the timesheet was submitted properly or has been received? Verify!

Patience. Not everyone can be matched online immediately after Internship fairs, some take as much as two weeks.

After a week plus internship fair in Abeokuta, i just received a text from UBA containing my account number. I checked my GIS portal but yet to be matched by my employer. I guess the process is gradual.
Who else is in my shoe and What should we be expecting next?

Thanks bro for the advice. I called my employer yesterday and they promise to do something about it speedily for me, hopefully within few days it will be sorted out.

As for bank I don't know why is taking them so long to send the account number but I pray the employer matching is solve ASAP. I can go to there branch at Unity for possible collection.
