Rule Number 1: Do not believe everything you read online. A phone getting hot doesn't translate to it being refurbished.
Besides, i think we all need to understand that a refurbished phone isn't in any way counterfeit/fake.

JUMIA is full of scammers. cant u read that he has been contacting them for 3 week? jumia does not always respond until u expose them. his coming online will surely put the owner of jumia on their feet.

I managed to get the product that particular product page on jumia website and it wasn't stated refurbished.

My question is, how did the Josh guy come to the conclusion that the phone is refurbished? Even brand new phones get hot sometimes, so?

Different people asked him to supply the model number with which to confirm claims of it being refurbished on but he hasn't.

The lawsuit was for 500million but that is not what was awarded him. Let's always read to understand before posting comments.

Which year did this happen? I don't know Jumia to offer replacement as an instant option.

Jumia is very fraudulent. I ordered for a bag for my wife and when it was delivered, the zipper was not good. I complained and when they replaced it , it was still the same bag they used shoemaker hook to sow another very bad low quality one. Also I ordered for washing machine, they sent me a wrong one. I complained and they promised to replace it. The guy that was to pick it up told me his vehicle is not good. That he has told jumia to send another vehicle only to see a message from jumia that return request has been cancelled because I have not been reachable for about 48hrs according to their driver also. They are not trustworthy

Manufacturer warranties or service repair options can be extended or renewed.

He bought a system with limited warranties of just 6months. This in fact does not mean the system is fake or refurbished but that in the advent that it gets any defect that is covered by warranty he may have to pay out of pocket to fix it.

You'd be required to take a typing test to ascertain your speed and accuracy skills. The interview isn't so stressful, just be yourself. They won't be asking you for things out of the ordinary. The pay isn't negotiable that's why it's stated in the invite. But there are performance based incentives, at least there was when I was with them last year.
If you live within Lekki Phase 1 axis and you don't mind the pay, take it. The work experience is worth it. However, if you live in Sango and you take it, just be rest assured you'd be spending 90% of that pay on bus fares.
