TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by purplerain1: 4:58pm On Mar 11, 2020
Hello our gurus, God's blessings
Pls my friend is trying to apply Canadian visa, shes been denied US visa, is it ok to include that she was denied in the Canadian visa application where they ask "have you been previously denied a visa in canada or any other country?"
Your reply will be helpful
God bless you all
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by purplerain1: 5:42pm On Mar 09, 2020
Actually my brother did the application for her
I know he used his account, 8million at the time
She has a lot of travel history too
She had a valid US and UK visa

She is good! So long she isn't staying in Canada for upto 6 months at a time. She can even flagpole lol. What I mean by Flagpole is, she can go to the US border and turn back same day, and Canada immigration officer will stamp her passport again for another 6 months. If that makes sense.

Got a question for you tho, I don't mind going aside to talk about it, why visiting visa, why not super visa. If you do not mind, may I know howyou applied for the visiting visa? Cos I am in the same shoes right now and about to apply for mumc
Hello gurus in the house, pls help a sister out, I'm a permanent resident here in canada, my mum has a visit Visa 5years, she was here in canada 5months, went to the US, came back after 2 months, stayed here in canada 4months, now shes going to London and will come back here after 1month, is there anyone who has experienced usage of visit Visa like this in the past?, will she has any issues at the point of entry?, is she violating here visit visa status?, I'm yet to apply grandparents super visa for her as I'm still a student.
Waiting for your replies. Thank you

Was your mum staying 6months, go back ,come back, stay 6months, go back ,come back again?
This could be the reason.

PLEASE HOW DOES CANADA RENEWAL OF VISA WORKS, MY MUM WAS DENIED VISA EVEN AFTER SHE HAS TRAVELED BEFORE TO CANADA...
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by purplerain1: 5:06pm On Mar 04, 2020
Please what documents did you submit?
Predera:
My joy knows no bounds. I submitted paper application for TRV on 20/12/2019, received biometric validity letter on 28/01/2020. On 03/02/2020 I received a message again from VFS that my decision envelope is ready for collection. Was delivered by courier service today and it was approved!!!!!. Tried severally to link my paper application to an online account but it kept saying 'no information found'. Am more than happy.

Everyone is asking me now and being worried, your case may be different from others u know

purplerain1:
This is a different scenario
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by purplerain1: 8:53pm On Jan 09, 2020
This is a different scenario

Beautyaddy:
Huh huh...so are you saying that if you apply for Canadians visa as a woman you are required to prove that you're not pregnant?...are you sure about that?

A number of people I know that got the Canadian visiting visa were not pregnant when they initially applied. They became pregnant months after the Canadian visa was approved.

You do know that the Canadian visa when approved is valid during the same duration of your international passport.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by purplerain1: 4:39pm On Jan 09, 2020
YES

What do you mean "if you're pregnant, you get banned"?

That is, if you're pregnant, applying for a visit Visa but fail to notify them, they ban you? That what you mean?
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by purplerain1: 4:36am On Jan 09, 2020
They are currently not issuing visas for birthing also if you apply for visit or tourism, you either get called on the phone or an interview, if you are pregnant, you get banned 5years

A refusal it was.
Applied Nov 2nd
Refused : January 6
Based on family ties in Canada and Nigeria and also purpose of visit
Majority have been refused but don’t come back to tell.
For those applying next, your application should be tight,I don’t know how else tho or mybe applicants should write to embassy and ask if Canada is still going on birth tourism at this point.
Success to those waiting!
If you intend to pick a random hospital, pls also search doctors affiliated with the hospital, then make sure u end up in that city even though you eventually change doctors.
My opinion.
Acisky:
Good morning everyone, i am trying to submit the IMM5257e ,i am unable to validate it as the system ask i fill the name and address of institution or person i will visit, i do not have a doctor or hospital, base on info i gathered here, i was told to apply for the VISA first before i can look for a doctor, can i just pick up a random hospital address online and put it there in the form ?

Hi @hotstepper n ALL, please I need comments on this budget which I have drawn from infos here and on the net. Part of me feel like it can be reduced or adjusted. Please those with experience can tell where to cut down on as it looks high. Also comment on anything missing. Thanks.

Please Note: this is not to scare anyone as it’s best to be prepared than surprised.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by purplerain1: 9:06pm On Jan 19, 2019
I for one believe agents who say as it is,some say 7,500 and above, except does below these prices are telling u only doc fee,i know some people use agents cos they don't want to stress themselves, but pls go with agents that tell u reasonable prices,
Wow ur schedule is tight ooo,u still have time to help with info,God bless you
I have over emphaized all these u outlined but agents in Naija will tell them opposite, take money from them nd they come to give me headache..lol I will not try it again this year ooo so u guys will hold ur agents responsible. Yea, I am an agent but i do not advertise so that ppl can make their choices and it does not prevent me from answering questions here and advise.

Incase u ppl do not know cuz of ppl who said they r too busy to read the thread thus making moi that is dishing the info with research as a free person. below is my weekly schedule.

1. I wake up Monday to Friday at 6am to make work and school lunch for the kids. We leave at 7:15 latest to enable me drop them off at their before school program for 7:30 since I have to be at work at 9. I finish work at 5pm nd must leave immediately to enable me reach at their after school programs by 6 latest. they attend different schools....1 is at all french school the other in english until grade one she moves over .

2. We get home 6:30 nd then I have to cook dinner, after eating dinner, we do homework nd then bedtime . After everyrhing, i do some things around the house like folding laundry from the weekend nd responding to u guys questions, emails etc

3. Saturdays na house work, laundry nd kids diff programs like basketball, swimming etc.

4. Sundays na Church, usually do my daughters hair on this day, cook for the week etc.
Hotstepper:
I wish I can like the ur comment 1 million times.

This ur write up confirms what I have been talking about since . This month a dr can charge say 1000 nd next month it is 3k, thus have more than enough money.

Please people if u have no cash to pay at ones, please remain in Nigeria so u do not spoil the show for others who can confortably afford it.

As you said, unless u have a place to stay nd feed for free, other provinces are very costly
you can find other places for scan way cheaper than in the hospital, pls pls don't run scan sessions in the hospitals very expensive, this is for the lady saying over 1k for scan
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by purplerain1: 6:30pm On Jan 19, 2019
I want to us the medium to thank hotstepper for the clear up.
We that live in Canada and try to get accommodation for our pregnant mums find it tiring at times cos anytime we tell them how much accommodation is and how much they should budget for their trip, they make it seem something else and most times doubt lol.
Pls note that accommodation in Canada is NOT cheap,it is more expensive than in the US,also when you are making your conversion don't fail to note the CAD is lesser that the USD,so how can accomodation even be close in price?,also our utility bills and tax is way higher than what you get in the US also, finding a room for 1k including utility is regarded is indeed a favour ,you should budget 1k-1,700 depends on the kind of rooms,if it's a private suite or just a room with a bed.
Information is key and I like that it's dished out here constantly, pls let us take our time to read, read, read.
Thank you hotstepper for also throwing light on our doctors, doctors here don't really care if you pay cash or not,at the end of the day they get paid by the government lol, sometime in 2017,doctors protested for being overpaid ,they insist PSWs, RPNs and so on should have a raise.
Also pls note it is very difficult to accept women from 28weeks,it's is difficult begging these doctors and giving all sorts of excuse which we know are even lies,it is stressful, you mist also be referred by a family doctor, you can't skip that at all.
The kids part is a very serious issue, pls note that if you are coming with your kids, hubby, mum or anyone else,be prepared to pay an extra fee,no landlord will accept crowd in his house and pay all the utility, how now? or you can get an hotel room if possible.
If you are with kids alone pls make arrangements for nanny services(pls note that it is NOT cheap in this country,so pls reconsider or you may be lucky to find a free Nigerian grandma who won't mind taking a little token, cos when you go into labour and you take ur kids with you, there are chances your kids will be taken from you as you aren't for to take care of them (may this never happen in Jesus's name).
Pls note, any agent that charges 7,000 or less for accommodation, omugwo, transportation, airport pick up drop off isn't telling you the truth, pls budget from 7,500$-$12,000,things may come up,you may spend an extra day in the hospital and this also depends on the doc you find and how much he charges, including the hospital charge.
Thank you ladies.

have u gotten Accomodation yet?

Good morning my sister. I am due in May and at this point I am really getting worked up. I am seriously fighting anxiety.

My lilttle brother is a PR and I do not in anyway wish to implicate him by not fully declaring I am coming to give birth. He is aware of my stand but he feels declaring it may hinder my chances.

I would like to find out the following

Have you gotten your Visa...
Are you travelling with your family...
Is it possible to fill vacation and birth tourism on a single application form. If no how best can I indicate my main intention of giving birth.
Have you gotten your reserved flight ticket without payment.
Can you share your budget sheet and statement of purpose with me.
