I went to a language school. I also utilized a language app alongside podcasts and some reading materials and some italki. Language apps can take you far though at least with vocabulary. I know someone who passed German B2 with only Duolingo as his resource. Mexico isn't easy to get to. Their universities don't even reply you. I tried with emails and calls and I couldn't get any information. I prefer mexico to Brazil though but getting in contact with Mexican universities to even make applications is hard
Going the study route to Mexico tends to be excruciating

Better to go to Mexico on a tourist visa and knock up some latina chick

We simply cannot afford a reboot. Resetting the system will destabilise a lot of things. We can only patch up and make due with what we have.
Reboot is mandatory not an option for things to properly work

Patching things leads to a more disasterous consequences

I was asked for Spanish proficiency o. Infact my admission interview was in Spanish. The schools reply your emails in Spanish and everything. I asked about a language course but the school said they don't do that. I think it's better to learn the Spanish in your home country before you go cause even the american exchange students i spoke with all learnt Spanish in America before they went to Chile for their exchange year.

I have actually been planning to move to either Chile or Brazil since 2020 but I didn't have job yet. So when I got job I started saving and when it was enough I started reaching out to schools. Once I knew about the language barrier and that it will be needed I started to learn the language and wait for the next admission session
Using language apps in learning Spanish doesn't work

Better go to Mexico than Brazil

PoliticsThe True Power Of 'have You Tried Turning It Off And On Again' In Politics" by Purvan(op): 1:57pm On Jun 28, 2023
Dear fellow netizens,

I couldn't help but notice that our beloved politicians are facing some serious glitches in their decision-making systems. As an IT aficionado, I propose a revolutionary solution: 'Have You Tried Turning It Off and On Again?'

Think about it! Whenever our politicians find themselves stuck in a loop of ineffective policies, outrageous promises, or mind-boggling bureaucracy, why not just give the whole system a reboot? Imagine the chaos that would ensue if politicians suddenly restarted and reevaluated their methods!

Picture it: a rebooted parliament, fresh-faced politicians ready to debug corruption, and upgraded software that actually focuses on serving the people. It's the ultimate power cycle!

Of course, this approach might require an IT technician in every government office, armed with a knowledge of memes and witty comebacks. But hey, if it works for us in the IT world, it might just work in the world of politics.

So, my fellow Nairalanders, let's band together, grab our keyboards, and hit the reset button on politics. Together, we can create a system that truly operates at peak efficiency and leaves us with fewer error messages.

Hey fellow Nairalanders!

I just had the most amazing experience, and I had to share it with you all. So, as you know, I work in IT, and I'm always surrounded by computers and coding languages. Recently, I decided to embark on a thrilling endeavor: teaching my lovely grandma how to code!

You might be thinking, "Purvan, are you crazy?" Well, maybe a little, but let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! Picture this: my sweet grandma, armed with a cup of tea and an undying curiosity, sitting beside me as I introduced her to the world of programming.

At first, I thought it would be like explaining quantum physics to a goldfish, but boy, was I wrong! Grandma embraced the challenge like a pro! We started with the basics, and I could see her eyes light up as she discovered the power of loops and conditionals. It was like watching a flower bloom.
