So how is 1million per year equal to 20,000 per day that is two thousand plus per day at best.

20,000 × 30 = 600,000

600,000 ×12 = 7,2000,000 barrels a year

She made a funny. grin

We can't contend with the thousands of daily economic migrants from the SE. All my life, it's been a one way traffic with Igbos flooding the SW seeking economic opportunities. The funny thing is once they make a living wage in the SW, they never ever go back and this includes their kids and subsequent generations. Thats why we have millions of Yorubanized Igbos all over the SW that speak Yoruba as a primary language having no inkling of Igbo. I mean zero knowledge of Igbo.

Give them another generation, you won't even know thier provenance any longer. As years goes by, less of them are going back for that annual pilgrimage back to the East. I am positive you fall under what I just described. It's your reality, not mine grin
Baba I dey tell you. They only embark on their annual December pilgrimage and ultimately return in body bags.
Their new generation are not even following the above pattern anymore. I have many of them as friends. They speak fluent Yoruba and knows very little of their native Igbos, their playlist is full of Olamide, Zlatan, Naira Marley and Co. In 30years time we may have no option than to naturalize them since they would have lost the iota of Igbo in them.

Those people are just a bunch of funny bunch.
Left for me, I would have even preferred we take it over without paying a dime. grin. Their igr is nothing to write home about yet they receive more than they give back. So, who's milking who? While SW, on the other hand, receives less to what its contributes to the country's igr so I repeat, who's milking who?

I am done talking abeg. grin
The way they reason is mind boggling. And they have this herd mentality, both their Educated and Ipob miscreants reason alike... Emotional without Logic.

you talk like an illiterate, a state has no right to sell its oil or gas.
it is a federal govt right through the NNPC,
the bone of contention here is the piping of gas from IMO to Lagos by the FG
The illiterate here is you who can't understand the simple law of demand and supply. The licence for those gas fields were given to Seplat and Co. who are majorly Igbos but they are not emotional quack economist like you who doesn't understand the fundamentals of Economics.
For Seplat to recoup his investment, he pipes and supply to readily available market(s).

And just to be clear, SW receives Gas majorly from the Niger delta and not some esusu gas from Imo

LegendHero:
Back from ban finally. Oju ti mod wey ban me.

The Yorubas already did justice to this useless thread. It lacked content and the OP that created this thread do not seems to understand basic statistical analysis.

I will borrow the word of myobjective to finalize the thread.

—The minorities in the Western region only constitute 10% of the population, and yet they got 7/23 (around 30%) of the ministerial nomination.

—The minorities in the Eastern region constitute more than 35% of the population and had the highest landmass but got 9/26 (34%) of the ministerial position.

—Sane independent observers should be able to judge from this to know which region is truly greedy.

To proceed further, the Yoruba allowed the minorities to leave in good faith. Some people are shouting minorities hate Yorubas for leaving, no, every living thing love freedom. Freedom to control their future and stand alone and that is exactly what the minorities of the western region exercised and the Yorubas made them leave without trouble.

and pazienza you will just have high blood pressure on top Yoruba matter. Because all this cycle of creating thread that has no meaning is just time consuming especially when the thread is not passing any meaningful information and can be discarded by the superior Yoruba minds.

Even if you go on Twitter, you will still meet the same fate because the Yorubas have special analytical mind and they will always offer a superior logical argument. I am very sure a Yoruba BSc holder will easily win over an Igbo PhD holder in an argument because they (Igbo) argue based on emotions rather than subject facts to logic.

I saw one of your thread that you dared compare Awo educational achievement with that of Zik and I was just laughing. The budgetary spending of the Western Region is the highest in the the country between 1964-1963. Infact the Western region had the highest amount of both recurrent and capital expenditure spending in all Nigeria according to the Annual Abstract of Statistics in 1963.

No matter the kind of statistics you try to pull from any source, no source will place the Eastern Region above the Western Region in terms of economy or wealth. The Western Region have always bested any other region and if you like you should open a trillion thread, you can’t fight against the truth.
Kaabo jare omoluabi. They keep opening several threads trying to re-write history and as usual we've been putting them in the gutter where they belong. Imagine a sane mind comparing Awo to Zik in term of achievementshuh lol

This is alledged to be the last fairly credible Census ever carried out in Nigeria, as the subsequent ones were marred with irregularities.
Though many still believe the British inflated the Northern figures in 1952, but there was never any contest over who was the most populous in Southern Nigeria. cool

You can compare the 1952 figures with the 1931 one:

FisifunKododada:
If separation is about hatred then Enugu hates Anambra. Delta hates Edo. Ekiti hates Ondo; Katsina hates Kaduna. etc. Sometimes people want to forge their own path. The only people we know that operate EXCLUSIVELY on hatred in Nigeria are the Igbos. Even your ipob-biafra agitation is based on hatred. The only way you will get biafra is when you change you hateful self. But that will never happen because hatred is in your dna. We Yorubas have figured you out. We know your penchant for hate and bile. This is why we have reserve series of canes for your igbotic hide to flog you into submission whenever you start feeling yourself.

All this effort just because you want SS to hate Yorubas as much as they hate you. But let me bust your bubble - it can never work. For decades, Nigerians have interacted with each other and the non-Igbo Nigerians have come to the same conclusion -Igbos are the most tribalistic/hateful tribe on earth. You can never change that. Not in this lifetime. You can never smear the great Yoruba race with a pathetic NL or twitter thread. Yorubas are never desperate. We are strategic to the bone. There is no way an emotional-estrogen driven tribe like Igbo can muster the wisdom/tact needed to navigate the complex Nigerian socio-political terrain. This is why when we see you, we see children, who are still struggling to control their base-emotions. We have offered to teach you how to behave yourself in public. Bring the effeminate-boy Peter Obi (who is your most illustrious son) to Bourdillion let him come and learn basic social/political etiquette from (not even Tinubu) but one of Tinubu's house-boys. He will be housed, clothed and fed. And when in graduates in 20 years, he can go home and spread his knowledge to alaigbo. This is your ONLY hope of smelling biafra. Until then keep parading your porn-star Kanu led ipobic unclothedness/hate/bile all over the world - it is a source of comedy and bemusement for us all.
Baba you no dey take prisoners o... They've been running around like headless chicken of recent creating thread upon thread against the Yorubas but we they surely "doo won" as their husband wey we be.
