Religion / Re: What Does The Bible Teach About Speaking In Tongues? by Pweetytomi: 11:56pm On Feb 26, 2023 |
About this tongue speaking....when we were in secondary school, we usually have evening service on Sunday evenings and my friend and I had made up our minds to seek for the baptism of the Holy spirit as we heard it preached in the morning service. So that day, during the evening service, we knelt down and were praying for a long time.....soon I felt my friend become more in depth in the prayers and soon she bursted out speaking in tongues...it was Igbo language as she was saying something Chineke....my friend isn't igbo and she wasn't affiliated with anything igbo as far as I knew.....I was so surprised and happy for her....our prayers were answered....we were just about 12yrs or 13yrs then.....I didn't get my gift until several years later. Since I got baptised with the Holy Spirit, I asked for the gift of tongue speaking and I use it whenever I pray and don't know what to ask for. I believe it helps me to pray deeper and to cover prayer points that my own understanding may not fathom. |

At long last my people, it's PPR!!! VO: Cpc Ottawa (FSW) ITA: September 30 2020 AOR: October 10 2020 MEP/BIL: November 29 2020 BIL done: December 9 2020 Long Silence Gave birth and notified ircc: February 2021 Baby added: August 2021 Long silence again ADR: April 20 2022 ( Remed, Pof, Additional info, schedule A) Adr submitted: May 7 2022 I also decided to submit police clearance certificates upfront in addition to requested docs Sent several mails to different email addresses but no particular reply apart from one I received from PM Justin Trudeau email PPR: June 2nd 2022 Journey started in 2018 after I got married, some of my friends were travelling out for studies so I decided to pursue express entry. Honestly, I got to know everything about this process from this thread...I was practically sleeping on this thread to get all vital info from past seniors. I wrote the ielts around August 2018 or so but didn't get my desired 8 in listening so I decided to try again. Wrote another ielts in Nov 2019 (I had my first baby so gave myself some time). Evaluated degree with pebc which took so long. Jumped into pool around June 2020 with CRS 468. I remember I waited for draws but they were so high in the 475 range so I decided to act fast, got hubby to write ielts and evaluated his medical degree with WES as I only planned to claim his degree as bachelor not professional degree. Updated my profile and my CRS score upgraded to 475 which got me my ITA. After submitting docs, the real wait began. This journey has tested my patience and faith and honestly I am so grateful to God its finally over. I pray for everyone at one step or the other, we shall all testify and rejoice with you too. It has finally ended in praise!!! 34 Likes |

giselle237:Thanks very much for this response. Ill keep checking for the dates....another thing is hubby is planning to travel around October while the kids and I are planning to join in January 2022, but we have just submitted visa application forms together. I hope there won't be any problem about the app for the kids and I being that our date for travelling is over 3months from when we are applying? |

Good evening my people, I have a quick question... My spouse and I are applying for work visa and we are required to book for biometrics with Tls..on getting to the website, spouse was able to get a near date while the kids and I got a farther date. Is it possible for us all to go on my Spouse’s date for the biometrics or how can we do it such that we'll all take the biometrics at once as we'll all have to travel down to lagos for it. Pls, is there a way we can capture on the same day? Also, the 3 months time frame for applying for visa, is it the time between submitting an application and tentative date for travelling or the 3 months start counting from when you go for biometrics? Pls I need to know cos I've submitted the application and I'm planning on travelling jan 2022.. |

Good evening my people, I'm trying to add a new born to my already submitted application. My issue is with pof. For my initial pof, I used 90% gift from dad backed up by a gift deed, a fixed deposit certificate and 10% cash in hubby's account backed by letter of access to his account. For this new addition, I'll be getting a little extra cash gift as pof. Pls how do I show my updated pof? Am I getting a new reference letter from bank? New gift deed stating the previous gift also or i should just stick to the new cash im receiving. Im a bit confused and your advice is needed |

Idemujoseph:You cannot say you are not married when you are actually married. That's false and can be termed misrepresentation. What I think you can do is apply as spouse unaccompanying. You wont have to pay application fees for spouse and dependent but you still need your POF to cover for family of 3 though 3 Likes |

Betterlife2018:I used WES for Hubby's ECA in sept 2020. Transcript was sent electronically from OAU through Etx-ng to wes 10th of sept and status was updated immediately. I got the ecopy of ECA on 29th of sept 2020. No verification needed. I'll encourage you to try sending your transcript electronically if you intend using WES. It saves processing time. Though I don't know if work is going on now due to ASUU strike. You can pm me so I'll give you the contact of the person that helped with my transcript. 3 Likes |

izzyI: You can book immediately with IOM ikeja for your medicals if you are in Lagos. I did mine last week at 46500. They are okay but a bit pricey and you'll be given a very close date. Also your results are sent after just 2 or 3days. Qlife is cheaper but they don't have dates close and you may have to wait for about 25- 30 days. Use this link to book an appointment with iom mymedical.iom.int Fill the form and they'll get back to you with the available dates. Also, you can start filling the post-ita form so that immediately you get your information printout sheet for medicals, you'll upload and submit. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Good evening, I'll like to ask.....when WES issues an estimated completion date for a report, does that mean the transcript has been verified by the university? Also how can one speed up the evaluation process, any trusted means? |
