I have a quick question please, for those who did TEF what was the average learning to exam timeline? Assuming you have a full time job?

You don’t need any actual bank account number, just walk into any bank and tell them you want to raise a bank draft, they know what to do

Could you please assist with explaining this better as I want to update my primary NOC and the fear of my account being rendered ineligible is driving me nuts.

What can I do to ensure this doesn't happen?
I’m not 100% sure of how this works tbh, but what happened was that I updated the NOCs of my other jobs but didn’t update the primary NOC bit.

I’m assuming that your primary NOC should be the one you have the most years in OR your most recent job? I think oh... please any one with a similar experience should help out.

Thanks!

I intend to make use of IDP, any advice on the pros and cons of each facilitator asides the remarking fee?
Well, I can only speak on BC (computer based) which used headphones, I suggest you do that then?

I would prefer a facilitator that makes use of a headset, i appreciate your response however.
Are you writing with BC or IDP?

Good Morning

I want to book for medicals. What is the difference between Qlife and IOM? Which should i opt for?

Thank you.
The difference is in price and location I believe. IOM is in Ikeja and more expensive, Qlife is in Victoria Island.

I suggest you call/email them both and make your decision. You can also search the thread to find out other peoples experiences.

I went with IOM because of its location nearness to my house lol

It ends at the border, very few ask of it. Even another CLB will be requested at times, not IELTS. Just simple English test.
I see! Thank you smiley

Please what is IQAS
It is a credential assessment organization, similar to WES - perhaps you can google it or search the preceding threads for people that have used it successfully.

Hello seniors,

I have quick question please - do you have to use your ECA to get a job in CA when you land? Or the usage ends after the EE process?

johnnybravo1990:
Best case scenario, cut-off drops to 453 by late December or early next January. Worst case scenario, you write another IELTS by the time you get 3 years experience, i.e. if your IELTS expires by then. Between these two scenarios, there are other possibilities: write TEF, marry your bae if they have the same qualifications as you to boost your CRS score, or go for provincial nomination.
Marry your bae grin wink way to go!!

Hello guys, please I need help

I have maxed out my ielts with a band 8, 25 years old with a masters degree but my CRS score sits at 453 because I only have one year work experience.

Please what do I do.
I’m getting sick with worry. cry cry cry
Your work experience is the issue, because it’s not up to three years. Maybe you can learn French? So you take the TEF exam to boost your scores?

Or you can wait it out in the pool in the hopes for a low draw, your score at 453 isn’t entirely horrible.

Sometimes they don’t send the mail on time. If it’s past 6 days your result is most likely out. Go to their office and pick the hard copy if you’re impatient or u could wait till they send the mail. You will be directed from the mail how to check the result. Good luck!!!
In recent times, they have not stuck to their 5/6day policy.

For perspective, my husband wrote on the 12th of October, I started checking online from 17th, the email didn’t come until the 21st morning about 7am and that’s when we were able to check online.

I went to their Ikoyi office that day at 12pm and the hard copy wasn’t even ready yet until about 3pm - they had to print as I waiting because I was putting pressure.

So sadly, @PucciGuru you might have to wait, or you can try your luck by going there if you wish.

If this is BC, you log in to the test take portal via the link in the notification of test results email you are sent.

Have you been sent the email yet? Or you awaiting this..

Hello house

My crs currently peaks at 420 with a bachelor's degree, a PR sibling, over 3 years experience and potentially good IELTS score.
Please how do I increase my crs score through education or any other route?
You can do the French exam or enroll in one of the short courses that have been discussed in the thread, just search smiley

1. visit www.hellofax.com
2. sign in (either using google or your email)
3. add file (upload the certificate or whatever you are sending)
4. enter WES fax no. and click send (the number should be on their correspondence with you)

Let me know if it's clear.

Unfortunately since the 5 months job wasn’t paid, you won’t be able to add it - you can start all the other processes whilst you want to clock three years?

For a friend:
Ielts scores- 8.5 L, 8.5 R, 7W, 8S

Education: MSC, Bsc
Age: 27
Work exp: 3yrs.

She tried filling up for EE, she got a message she's not legible for EE.

What could be wronghuh
It could be a couple of things; let them cross check the NOC, make sure it is A, B or 0 and then the amount entered for POF; it shouldn’t be the exact amount because of exchange rate fluctuations.
