Graiccy: Please someone should kindly explain the job experience part to me. i did a job before my NYSC in a lab for 5 months, without been paid just to build my capacity. i can get a reference letter for that. can i include it as an experience since i wasnt paid? How many years experience post-NYSC do you have? I’m asking because if it suffices for your application, then you can leave this 5month gig out in the work experience section and then include it in personal history as a volunteer job type thing. Just so that you don’t complicate your life. I might not be correct sha, but that’s my perspective. You can search the threads to see if anyone has been in a similar situation. |

wale200: Hello everyone.
Pls how can someone know and be following d draw cut off CRS scores? I went to Round of invitations but didn't get it there. For Oct 16, I saw sth like 357 which I don't understand. Thanks. You were on the correct page - the draw on October 16th was for FST. So on draw days, just check the round of invitations on the page. |

oge966: Thank you @Pwinkle1 So this is my situation.... I have a BSc in computer science and I have been working as a software consultant for over 14 years now in Nigeria. I did an MBA in Unilag some 5 years back and I intend to use my MBA for my application to earn more points.
The confusion here is that my MBA is not too related to my work experience (Software consultant) and if I evaluate only that then I will not be evaluating a degree I will like to work with and this might affect me getting a software job over there.
Would you advice I include my BSc Computer science degree in my WES evaluation since that is related to my work experience or I should just proceed with evaluation of only my MBA? What is the implication if I go with the later option?
Secondly, I learnt I will get more points if I add my spouse degree but I want to know if I will earn further points if I include my spouse work experience and get a reference letter to back that up?
Thank you. Hello, I’d try to answer to the best of my knowledge - if I’m not correct anywhere, someone should please correct me. 1. To make you feel more comfortable perhaps you should just evaluate both? Also - are you applying for PNP or EE? I think this would influence which one you should use. 2. Yes you’d get points from your husbands ECA, but no points from his work experience especially if he is not the PA - best to include his work experience in the personal history bit (so I learnt) |

bamangar: Hi everyone, someone advised me not to use Fixed deposit as my POF, rather I should used Treasury Bill. Is Fixed deposit not good? Did the person give their reasons why? I suggest you search the threads and other preceding parts, to get first hand info. The general guideline is that whatever you are using is as liquid and close to cash as possible, so that it reduces any drama - obviously the financial institution must state this clearly in the reference letter. Does that make sense? |

Eraytee: YES of course, we need to celebrate this election victory na am expecting another next week too . Faith it!!! But wait, based on trends is there likely to be a draw today? Because I went to check the trends from previous months/years and they didn't really do another FSW draw after and FST draw the next week. Maybe I didn't see well sha. Also, post election they might just be chilling and will rather wait until next week for things to stabilize? lol What do you think? |

Henryoto2019: The mistake was from my Proof of Funds. How do I open a new account? Do I need to revoke this Gckey? I see you recently had similar issues. How did you open a new account? Thank you. Okay, so mine was NOC related. I basically just used a different email address, didn't do anything with GCKey. However, that one also became ineligible lol. So I switched back to my original profile. But wait, are you unable to start a new application within the same profile? |

Henryoto2019: Good morning. Please my express entry profile become ineligible this morning when I tried updating it. I quickly created another profile but when I logged in I noticed they are both linked to the same account. Please what did I do wrong? My worries: 1. I have two profiles under one account, one is eligible and the other ineligible. Is it supposed to be so? 2. While filling the new profile I answered no to the question if I have applied to IRCC before and I didn’t fill my previous profile number and UCI. 3. I noticed the new profile has a different profile number and UCI
Please hope I haven’t done anything wrong?
Please seniors I need clarification. Thanks Was it your NOC you tried updating? if yes, you will have to update your primary NOC in addition to the different jobs. Have you tried opening a new account with a different email address? |

Thank you all for your replies. I really appreciate you. But just to be clear and double check, I meant Ordinary National Diploma (OND from yabatech) and BSc(Unilag)
Thanks alot. I want to be sure before I pay to WES. It will most likely be two or more certificates - but the price you pay to WES doesn’t depend on the no. Of certificates, I think. So go ahead and pay. Seniors, please correct me if I’m wrong. |
