Faber: A big thank you to our leader Dr. Burkola Saraki. Well done sir!
Rebranding Nigeria is the most herculean task one can undertake...No matter how hard you try to project Nigeria's image via positiva abroad...you are bound to fail...
The next day one Okafor man of a drug peddler or Yemi of an online hacker or Yusuf will try to escape from Saudi Arabia while on Hajj; will be arrested and spoil your show...The coming week one lie lie Alhaji lai of a minister will tell a lie from the pit of hell like; "Buhari's administration don crush Thailand's rice mills.." The next month one Bubu of a president who is so lazy that his cows are roaming the streets of his country, will go abroad and call the youths that voted for him 'lazy minds'
One begins to ponder and wonder whether it is a crime being a Nigerian by default. Great country people, e no be our fault say we are from Nija. We can only rebrand ourselves and work selflessly for the upliftment of the entire peoplekind.
Be good to yourself Be good to Nigeria Naija all the Way He didn't mention about retrieving money looted to the Russian economy by past administration especially on the bogus Ajaokuta Rolling mills!!! |

Politics › Re: Plot To Detain Obasanjo Is Real - Fani Kayode, Releases List Of Other Targets by qleap2all(m): 9:02pm On Jun 10, 2018 |
aminulive: @POLITICSNGR
Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has released a statement on the recent alarm raised by the ex-president, Olusegun Obasanjo, alleging that there was a plot to detain and frame him by the Federal government.
FFK, in a statement made available to PoliticsNGR, alleged that the Presidency had finalized plans to give other opposition leaders the 'Nnamdi Kanu' treatment. Below is his statement in full;
"I have read the disturbing reports about the Buhari administration's plan to frame up, arrest and detain President Olusegun Obasanjo on trumped up and politically-motivated charges.
It has also been brought to my attention that they have threatened his life.
Though I am not surprised because this is nothing new for this government. That is their stock in trade and they have been doing it for the last three years to anyone and everyone that opposes or criticises them.
What bothers me now is that President Buhari has become so jittery that he is prepared to do anything to stay in power. I have done my research and I have discovered that the plan is real.
The government are also planning to target other key opposition figures and elder statesmem as we get closer to 2019 such as General T.Y. Danjuma, General Ibrahim Babangida, President Goodluck Jonathan and a handful of others.
It appears that Buhari will stop at nothing in order to ensure that all his critics are silenced.
The plan to implicate and silence all these leaders together with key figures in the PDP like
Ayo Fayose,
Emmanuel Udom,
Ibrahim Dankwabo,
Nyesome Wike,
Darius Ishaku,
Godswill Akpabio,
David Mark,
Ike Ekweremadu,
Lyle Imoke,
Uche Secondus,
Sule Lamido,
Ibrahim Shekarau,
Abubakar Suleiman,
Kabiru Turaki,
David Jang,
Atiku Abubakar,
Dele Belgore,
Jumoke Akinjide,
Nenadi Usman and others is condemnable.
They also plan to give some of us the Nnamdi Kanu treatment and make us dissapear or give us the Sambo Dasuki and El Zak Zaky treatment and lock us up indefinately but they will fail.
Such is Buhari's desperation that he is even attempting to discredit and destroy key members of his own party like
Bukola Saraki,
Yakubu Dogara,
Dino Melaye,
Rabiu Kwankwaso,
Abubakar Baraje,
Aminu Tambuwal,
Abdul Fatah Ahmed,
Timi Frank and others.
Nobody is safe anymore, not even legislators, media houses, journalists, bloggers, religious organisations or NGO's that oppose or criticise the Federal Government.
Nigeria is fast becoming a fascist police state where dissent is seen as a crime and where those that oppose the President are perceived as enemies of the state and prisoners of war.
They forget that we have a divine obligation and patriotic duty to oppose evil and tyranny in the land and nothing will make us shirk that responsibility.
Let it be clearly understood that we will not sit by idly and allow Buhari to continue to threaten, harrass and intimdate all those who oppose him. We are not intimidated and we have no fear. Governments come and go and no matter what he does Buhari will not be there forever.
Taking this matter to a level of threatening the lives and liberty of people like Obasanjo, Danjuma, Babangida, Jonathan and other elder statemen and seeking to destroy key opposition figures for no just cause is dangerous and unacceptable and it will have consequences.
We do not want war in Nigeria: we want peace and the Buhari government should desist from provoking a situation and a series of events that may end up spiralling out of control.
It is almost as if they are begging for war and that is tragic. They may have the full machinery and power of the Federal Government but we have the Living God. Nothing can stop us in our divine mission to stop him and rescue Nigeria.
The truth is that any untoward or irrational course of action will be met with a corresponding and appropiate reaction which may have dire implications for the peace and unity of our nation.
This game must be played within the rules of engagement or else all hell will eventually break lose. Buhari must be warned.
Peace, fair play and justice must be allowed to reign in our nation and those that oppose the President must be treated with the respect, decency and decorum that they deserve.
They are not enemies of the state and prisoners of war but law-abiding and patriotic Nigerians that have no faith in him and that wish to rescue Nigeria from his tyranny. There is no crime in that and they do not deserve to be killed or to be locked up for it".

Politics › Re: MKO Abiola: Why Buhari’s Declaration Doesn’t Impress Yorubas – Adebanjo by qleap2all(m): 6:18pm On Jun 09, 2018 |
6Ebisco: A chieftain of Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo says he and other leaders are not impressed by President Muhammadu Buhari’s declaration that June 12 will henceforth replace May 29 as Nigeria’s Democracy Day in honour of the late Chief Moshood Abiola.
He also stated that they were also not excited about the conferment of the award of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic, GCFR, on the late businessman.
The elder statesman said this in a chat with Punch.
He said: “But if he (Buhari) has now done it because the presidential election is coming, well, he cannot bamboozle anybody with that. What we are saying is that if he wants to honour the memory of Abiola and June 12, he should implement what June 12 stands for, which is good governance and democracy.
“He should restructure the country before the elections to show his genuineness and not just be playing to the gallery. This is because all that June 12 stands for is democracy and good governance. It is not about people being killed right, left and centre and pretending that you don’t know what is happening.
“It is not people being killed every day and after three months, you now wake up and say you are beefing up security. People have been complaining about the awkwardness of the lopsided appointments of heads of security agencies since you came into office, but it was not until now that the vice president (Prof. Yemi Osinbajo) said, “Oh yes, we are going to review it” – because election is approaching.
“We are no fools in this country. He should know that many of us have not got cattle brain, we are well educated and we know what we want. Nobody can come and bamboozle us because elections are coming. It is just like he said in 2015 that he was a born-again democrat. Now, he has shown us that he is a dictator. We are not moved by it. It is a welcome idea and yes, it is a thing that ought to have been done. But that he is now doing it because e lections are coming, I am not excited by that at all.”

CyynthiaKiss: Buhari, your desperation to retain power is so strong. One thing is certain, you might succeed in deceiving some fanatical yoryuba Muslimns, but you can't deceive progressive/Yoruba Christians. We Christian Yorubas will not vote for you in 2019. We won't vote for someone who is busy killing our Christian brothers in north central because we all know that once you are done with northern Christians, you will face southern Christians, Yoruba Christians included during your second tenure. God forbids.!
If Abiola is so special in Yoruba land as you want to paint it, why did my people reject renaming Unilag after him ? Abiola has come and gone, we have our way of mourning and remembering him.
Terrorist Buhari, your antics is dead on arrival . Progressive Yorubas are wiser... Shut up! Are Muslims not being killed too? Which Yoruba Christian can demonstrate his love for Christ and faith like the little Northern Christian Leah Shaibu. Girl? Come they rant here, go out and preach the gospel, were Christians not killed during the Apostolic time? |
Travel › Re: Ifesinachi, Chisco, Others Report Ambode To Osinbajo by qleap2all(m): 12:21pm On Jun 05, 2018 |
actiondrilling: The Association of Luxury Bus Owners of Nigeria (ALBON) on Monday asked for the intervention of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in lifting the paralysis of their businesses by the Akinwunmi Ambode led Lagos State government on the Ikorodu axis.
Its President and Chairman of Ifesinachi Group of Companies, Prince Emeka Mamah, said this while addressing State House Correspondents after the group paid a courtesy visit to Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. According to Mamah, sometime in 2017 the Lagos state government issued an executive order, directing all transporters on the Ikorodu corridor to relocate to Ojota.
He noted that since the order, the group tried its best to meet with Governor Ambode to resolve the problem without success. Mamah said that the deployment of police on the Ikorodu axis to stop the businesses of the bus operators in their private parks had crippled the transportation of persons and property to different parts of the country. “That is the main reason we said we should come to his excellency (the Vice President) to complain and to appeal so that he can step into this matter and see reasons we should maintain our private parks.
“These are investments that we owe banks and we have spent so much to develop those places,” he pleaded. He said that the group had confidence in the APC government and expressed optimism that the Vice President would step into the matter to resolve the problems. The LUBON president also urged the federal government to address the issue of import duty tariff on luxury buses as the duty of 35 per cent on a bus of about N150 million was too high for investors. He also requested the federal government to intervene in the Value Added Tax being demanded from bus owners as it was difficult for them to collect VAT from commuters. “The road users, especially commuters do not pay VAT; there is no how that we can collect that from commuters. “And we are appealing to him to also look into that direction and see what can be done so that the tax people will not be disturbing us regarding VAT,’’ he said. The Patron of the Association, Chief Eugene Nzom-Ojukwu (MON), added that the Association presented an award to the Vice President to show its support and strong solidarity with the government. According to him, all the association needs is a level playing ground to enable it to serve the public better. He said that the Lagos incident had pushed the operations of the group down, adding that about three months ago, the Lagos government impounded the association’s buses and kept them for three months without justification. “We will find it difficult to set off all the accumulated bank interest that that action caused to us. “You can also agree with us that the luxury bus association has never for one day gone on a strike no matter what it is. “Our primary objective is to keep the nation moving; we do not want to be a stumbling block on the movement of the government and the people as well. “We are trying to do whatever we think is possible for us to make sure that everything in Nigeria moves perfectly as far as transportation area is concerned,” the ALBON patron added.
http://www.akelicious.net/2018/06/ifesinachi-chisco-others-report-ambode.html After meeting Osinbajo, please go and report to Daddy G.O and then the wisest visit would be to the court. Employ Ebun Omagoruwa for that purpose.! |

viceddy95: Army Intercepts 92 Armed Herdsmen At Check-Points
The Guards Brigade of the Nigerian Army yesterday paraded 36 armed herdsmen who were intercepted by troops of the 117 Guards Battalion Keffi along the Abuja-Keffi road on Sunday. Another group of 56 herdsmen were arrested at the Dantata check point between Kuje and the Abuja airport.
The 36 herdsmen were arrested by troops at the Keffi check point at about 4:30 pm Sunday in a Diana Truck and a Toyota Camry Salon car, the spokesman of the brigade, Captain Bashir Jajira, told newsmen yesterday.
He said during interrogation by troops at the check point, they said they were going to Nasarawa LGA of Nasarawa State. Jajira said after a thorough check of the vehicles, the troops discovered one pump action gun, 19 cartridges of dane guns, 118 cartridges of ammo, 28 cutlasses, three jack-knives, 14 sticks, seven torches, assorted charms and hard drugs.
He also said the other group of 56 herdsmen were arrested at the Dantata check point between Kuje and the airport in the Gwagwalada area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He said items recovered from them include 26 cartridge dane guns and 49 cutlasses and knives. Jajira added that all the suspects claimed to be on the lookout for cattle rustlers who stole their cows. Captain Jajira said the suspects would be handed over to the police for further investigation.
The Commander, Guards Brigade, Brigadier General Musa Yusuf, told newsmen that the arrests showed the determination of the brigade to rid the Federal Capital Territory of any criminal activity.
Daily Trust. What stop them from reporting to the police and let the security personnel secure their cow. ! |

In as much as the wage needs an upward review, 66,500 is not realistic Even their 3 criteria is faulty, what about issue of productivity - GDP, mono economy and inflation. They should rather call for more about diversification of the economy base from oil, incentives to go into Agric, subsidy on health, transport, education, housing etc. Sooner or later, the market women, land Lords /property owners, schools would increase their prices with new wage increament!
