Please can someone just walk to Alagbon for police report. My wife just applied to join me, however she got a mail that she needs to submit a criminal record certificate. I'm a nurse here who had a job in September after msc in mental health nursing. |

please call them and go to TLS if its possible and make sure your case is escalated. Had to go there on three occasions, I even went to Vi, although there's no point going there as the place is almost deserted. Guards attended to me and told me to be hopeful my passport was among those dispatched in the morning.. Headed back to TLS and was told mine was among those coming cos there's a way they can check. I want to use this opportunity so say thanks to the different selfless agents on this platorm. my journey started last year as I tried applying for a bsc in mental health nursing but was discouraged given my age and all. as God would have it a major event made sure I was not able to make it last year. Fastforward to 2019, I applied this time for an Msc in a rush, so I had to settled for priority. The wait is not for the faint-hearted. Timeline is as follows: Biometrics 04/09/2019 Received in Sheffo 04/09/2019 Decision was made on the 13/09/19 Got a mail from TLS on the 24/09/19 latest day to resume was 25/09/19 so I Had to leave naija on the same day I got the visa as my school already deferred my admission because they felt I would have lost too much if I wasnt enrolled by friday of the same week. Spent so much on the flight but I no mind... Had to beg the cordinator to keep my admission as I beleived my visa was delayed. I'm all settled in school as I write this... thanks to the wonderful peeps here. 11 Likes |

My school is already threatening to report me to UKVI and curtail my visa if I dont show up for enrolment by my latest acceptance date. Funny thing is I am yet to get my passport back and I dont even know if I was granted a visa or not. Today makes it the 12th day for a supposed priority visa. na wa for them o, dont know where this delay is from. |

Elmariachi2017: I believe you're not alone in this delay, mine is also about 10 days...prioroty too, just wait a little while longer. you can track it through the link in the mail sent to you when you applied. calling didnt help my case as money was just deducted and they said the decision has been made while refusing to disclose when it was made. Was at the Ikeja office and they said they are yet to receive my passport...beats me where the delay is coming from... 1 Like |

Hello folks Please i need a little help, i am yet to get an accomodation as I plan to stay in a hotel for 2 days and get accomodation close to the school. While filling the form online, I was asked where I would be staying and i gave this same explanation. the problem now is the IHS form cant be filled without providing an address as it keeps asking me where i want to stay. You need to state whether you are applying to stay in the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey. What do I do about this? |

Hello Nairalanders, My Uni has asked me to provide roof of funds for 28 days before CAS is given. They also said I have to provide a letter of previous refusal if there is any so as to advice on the Visa process. 1. The problem is this is the 20th day and I want to know if it advisable to mail them and send them a copy of the bank statement explaining that its just the 21st day and that I dont intend to apply till the 28th day period has elapsed as I know the implications of applying earlier than 28 days. 2. I want to try this route because the CAS according to them takes 5 working days after submission of the proof of funds and the tuition deposit. If I fail to do this, I might have to wait till the 28th day before submission which means an additional 5 working days-a luxury I cant afford as resumption is 16/09 while the latest date of arrival is 25/09. 3. I know the importance of stating previous refusals when applying to the embassy but I dont know the implications if not disclosed to the school. The refusal was a student visa in Ireland back in 2013 due to negligence. Inputs are welcome Thanks 1 Like |

Good day everyone, please i need clarity on the following: 1. As a 40 year old, can one's parent stiil be ones sponsor ? Although the required funds have been moved into the beneficiary's account, the intention is to start the 28 days count from 2nd day after the money was lodged so it doesnt reflect , just to avoid any issues about huge sums lodged into the account. 2. Would getting a letter from an organization one volunteered for 2 years add credibilty to ones claim of having worked in that organization? 3. Having been refused an Irish visa in the past about 5years back due to some negligence- the reasons for refusal were numerous at the time- reasons like gaps in education or employment not accounted for. would it be advisable to go for a priority visa given the time frame available from the period of application for visa and resumption is barely 2 weeks? I read here that it is better one goes for the standard type if there has been a case of refusal in the past. NB: the refusal was not due to any forged documents as there was an appeal that was eventually lost. Inputs are appreciated , thank you all. |

Zoey1: Thanks Zoey1, the said company has branches in 6 other African countries, in that case is it just a letter of sponsor I need from the company? I would also like to know if I am meant to pay my acceptance fee of £3k through the company account or through mine. Much thanks. |
