It’s time to take my working out sessions to the next level... I need to get serious with it..

I had a thought.. candidates, e no go bad if from now, make we begin dey gather flight money down for those of us going from Lagos.. that Abuja/kaduna road ehn... even yesterday I still saw videos of bandits/army clashing in the early hours of the morning.
If possible sef, Make the Army Authorities Screen Applicants According to their Zone and Later publish the final list of those that are to report for Training... I think Nah that time the Flight Idea go kum make sense Pass coz person go know sey Nah Training resumption He dey Carry flight ontop and Not Screening wey Never sure sef

Make All those from SouthWest gather for one state do their Screening, Make those from SouthEast gather for one state do their thing etc etc.. I learnt that Nah so dem dey tame handle the RRI guys, so it wouldn't be a bad Idea if dem use same approach for this year's SSC and DSSC guys onto sey Kaduna Road No too safe

For Transparency and Appreciable Effectiveness, Make dem Interchange the Coordinating officers as in Make dem deploy Hausa Officers come the southwest Zonal screening, Make them Deploy Yoruba Officers fo the East Zonal screening etc etc

This thread is heart wrenching. It gives another perspective and the reality of a soldier (Military personnel) and the impact of the job on family and loved ones.

One of the sad stories from the thread

Ensure ur affidavit is intact, if there should be discrepancies on ur credentials, it shouldn't be in atleast not more than one document and that document should be back up with the right affidavit, sworn at the right time...
BossMan help reason my Matter in this regard too oo..
For my FSLC nah QUADRI be the spelling of my Name wey dey on top, Likewwise my JSS 3 Junior WAEC too. But All of a Sudden, when I got to SS1, I got Excessively interested in Oral English, so I decided to add letter L to my Name which now changed the spelling to QUADRIL (I bn dey reason am sey the L will be silent grin)... So ever since then, ALL MY CERTIFICATES (WASSCE, B.SC, NYSC, AGE DECLARATION), Nah Quadril dey on top ooo (even my moniker sef grin), Hope that no go cause any Issue

In my Opinion, I think the reason why We might not be Able to Get these Beauties is simply coz of the Report by the International NGOs operating in Borno state as regard Human Rights Abuse by the 9ja Power Authorities, thus Activating Some Sanctions against us (eg the Leahy Law that prevented the USA from Selling weapons to Us during President Jonathan's Regime)
Now, the Big question is this...

When is the Nigerian Army ready to start Producing Their Weaponry themselves without Necessarily Depending on Buying from other countries..
Is it that DICON, PROFORCE and the Likes cant Design and Build an MBT nii or What??

At Least we can copy the Nigerian Navy in this Regard as highlighted in the attached screenshot

infact even with your money you won't get most of them from manufacturers the best you can do is to get a Chinese copy like the VT4s.

YES.. Because...

The VT-4 is equipped with GL5 Active Protection System (APS). The roof-mounted APS offers a high level of protection against MBT, Armoured Vehicles, Anti-Tank Guided Missiles, and anti-tank weapons.

The VT4 tank advanced features also include Smoke Grenade Launchers (SGL) and Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) protection system to protect the occupants.
Though I remember that I read A news online that The Nigerian Army Authorities received some VT-4 Battle Tanks sometimes in April this Year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese instructors who originally planned to travel to Nigeria for further operation training are yet to be put into place for the time being.

ALL IS WELL

According to them as an infantry soldier you can easily alight from your tactical vehicle and japaa on foot but as a tank Commander/operator it's almost a hopeless situation since rifle rounds hardly penetrates a tank most likely the enemy will demobilise you with a high explosive ordnance e.g RPG-7, Anti-tank rounds and you know what that means?
Barbecue things
However, modern heavily armored vehicles, such as MAIN BATTLE TANKS (M1 Abrams, Russian T-14 Armata, Challenger 2 Streetfighter etc) are generally too well protected (WITH THICK COMPOSITE OR REACTIVE ARMOUR ) to be penetrated by an RPG, unless less-armored sections of the vehicle are exploited.
The bottom line point is that If only the Troops on the Warfront can be Provided with the Right Machinery, I see No reason Why Any Personnel will ever think of Running Away from an Assignment or a Task

As far as I'm concerned, THE SECTION THAT ISSUES B.Sc CERTIFICATE in your school should be the best Place to go and that should probably be the EXAMS AND RECORDS DEPARTMENT

You can sign it yourself. Nobody get time to check if your parents give you consent or not as far as anybody appends their signature in that space them no send you.. Moreover you're an adult .
Aiit Civilian General Ugo... The reason why I ask Nah coz I hear sey Dem go make verification as regards ones parents consent by Contacting them directly or something like that...

I also read that Many years ago, Army No dey request for the Parents consent, but when Cadets Death during Training starts Increasing in Large numbers, Most Parents were now Sueing the Nigerian Army Authorities for the death of their wards, thus the decision for introducing the Parents consent form with the Intent of stopping the Parents Court sueing

Goodday house, nice forum so far.. Please our print outs, when are we supposed to use or submit them?? Is it on the exam day or what? Thanks
As for the previous years Parole, Nah when guys dey go report for Kaduna for Screening be the time dem dey always take their Signed and All other relevant documents along, but since this is the 1st time the Nigerian Army will be Introducing Writing of Exam before Screening, then I'd say that We should just chill till the Shortlist for the Exam is out.. Surely, All IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS and NECESSITIES shall be Released alongside the Exam Invite List..

But to rather be on the safe side, I'd advise U get ur Documents signed sef b4 the end of the registration on the 29th of September Since the interval btw the Exam Invite Shortlist and the Exam Day Wouldnt likely be more than a Week

Quoting the Instruction boldly written on the Registration page which reads CANDIDATES WHOSE DOCUMENT AND PICX UPLOADS AREN'T CLEAR ENOUGH WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED, then I'd likely say that Could be the No 1 disqualification factor

Judging by navy & Airforce standard which I believe army will employ this time, I think it will be Age & class of degree. Usually this is done automatically without human involvement
Since height and weight measurements also dey among the info to be filled during registration, MAYBE Automatic Calculation of BMI fit dey integrated as well... coz I see no reason why dem dey ask for weight if not probably for that... Just saying though

(1) For memebers of this Platform that were able to successfully convince their parents to allow them go ahead with the Nigerian Army Registration, how were You guys able to overcome their Initial Resistance??

(2) Can it be considered being desperate to go look for other relatives to sign per chance ones parents aren't ready to give in to ones plea...

One of my probable commands if I make it to the theatre of war and am unavoidably faced with adversity.
"Gentle men officers, you are the strongest, the bravest and the most courageous men I have had the opportunity to lead. Our souls shall taste death but most definitely not today. I led you here alive and I command everybody to stay alive"
Victory is from God alone!
No mind me ooo, moral just high me kawai.
I'm actually afraid I MIGHT BE MORE THEORETICAL in my dealings... Funny Enough, I dont kinda believe that a direct attack against this BOKO-ISWAP people is the Right way... There are ways to LURE TERRORISTS INTO DEATH TRAP... It is well

ISIS terrorists in camos and fully armed recently sighted in South West forests at Oyo State. God help us oh.

It's been 4 years or even more, of intelligence reports on possible infiltration of Southern Nigeria by Islamic terrorists. But the truth is that we don't value human lives in this country.
You know that Iseyin (a border town in Oyo state) has a direct Link with Benin Republic, thus Leading to an Unrestricted Ease of Goods and Personnels movement...

In my Opinion, To actually Settle this Insurgency Problem in Nigeria, THE ROOT CAUSE must first be Tackled and that's the Issue of our POROUS BORDER... A firm Cooperation between the NIS (Nigerian Immigration Service), NBC (National Boundary Commission), BCDA (Boundary Communities Development Agency) and the Authorities of Niger, Chad, Mali, Cameroon alongside Benin Republic to Enforce CBM (COORDINATED BORDER MANAGEMENT) STRATEGIES Will surely Checkmate the Free Influx of both Contraband Goods and the Foreign Terrorists...

U can Try download the PDFs below if you wish to have more insight on what CBM is all about and how it can be of help in ending The Insurgency menace in Nigeria..

It is no more news that MOST OF THESE TERRORISTS AREN'T NIGERIANS coz most times when they get Captured, they seem not to understand Any of the Nigerian Languages alongside the Currency Denomination they are always caught with...

Once the borders are now secured, then that's when the Collective Effort of the AFSF, CJTF, The Nigerian Police CTU, MNJTF and The Local Vigilantes can now be more Appreciated..

Words on the street of godfatherism has it that, they want to use exam because some of our colleagues in training no sabi , they wan use the exam as a filtration mechanism
As far as I'm concerned, this idea of Exam Introduction into the Recruitment process seems to be more of an Approach adopted towards Solving this issue of Less than 60% of shortlisted applicants showing up for Screening..

U know, Logically, by the time the Shortlisting for the Exam is Out, then U should av concluded if you will be ALL IN for the Entire Recruitment process Or U backing Out by Not even reporting for the Exam... Its highly unlikely that ANYONE that gets shortlisted after Passing the Exam wouldn't show up for the Screening...
