Asb4love: .hmmm? NO DOUBT! They use O'level,infact 60% while A'level/ND CGPA Is 40%. I saw my o'level grade printed at admin office when i went 4 my clearance,which is 20/60. I.e c6, c6,c4,c4 and c5, and on top of my transcript written 4.72/5.00. *40 which earn me 37.76/40. And my total point is 57.76% which made me qualify 4 agriculture. I saw it with my eyes!! No doubt!

Both d O;level n certificate one applied wit wil b calculatd,n d applicant must meet d required point b4 admittn is given.
So after d admittn,ur point wil stil b recalculated b4 u wil b cleared.

Habidab: hello gud people,long time no post.after lots of stress undergone in school,am back home.

The Bad news for those yet to be admitted through DE is that......trust me guy,you know I will do everything on ur behalf...I was able to chat one on one with that old woman in Admission room 7.and she revealed everydown thing to me...

...She said there won't be any second(2nd) batch for DE student but sure there is gonna be for Jambitos,furthering our chat,hi inquired more that why? And she was reluctant to answer me.

That's why I was unable to ask when we will be resuming for those newly admitted student both DE and Jambites.

You may argue with me but before you argue,please visit room7.
And also please guy still have faith that anything can happen come January...no dulling afternoon peeps.

I've bn trying to check out my name on d jamb web site to c my name nd stil haven't gotten anyfnk even til nw nd it has bn confirmed to me dat I was qualified which was written on my file.Or do I need to b on campus myself to go nd check d notice board?Pls I need sm1 to help me out wiv dis cos it's very very urgent so i can no d nxt step to take b4 it's too late.Thanks as u help.

Habidab: Is this the official resumption date for their second semester,or do you mean inclusive with the new admitted student.highlight more bro coz its seems you are very close to the school

Akintileboy: For Nd,Hnd and degree holder students UI cannot easily choose the best cos most of you are from different schools so different school standard and different factors apart from Academic may make a result of a candidate to be better than some even though they might not be better than such in academic. So it doesn't show accurate justification of students unlike ALEVEL where all students write same exam irrespective of their place or centre. it shows more accurate justification. SO therefore UI prefers using o level to choose the best among ND, Hnd and degree holder students. Since d certificate is the same truout (waec and Neco) So if your mate with lower GP points is admitted over you. Check his/her o level. It must be better than your. If you are not admitted then your o level is not strong. submit a stronger and better one next time. don't lose hope yet. still waiting for 2nd list. My mates and I have As and distinction mostly in our o levels

Akintileboy: AFTER SO much stress Signing and clearance for my A LEVEL CERTIFICATE. I finally collected it. So stress that I will have to spend d nite in IB. D outcome of admission info for you guys. I went to admission office and I was told more lists to come out on post jamb together with 2nd lists of Direct entry but limited. But no OND and HND for some courses eg college of medicine, microbiology and odas. remember no lists for microbiology and some faculty of science courses. Just a list for biochemistry. MEDICAL STUDENTS with 14 points below to like 6 pts for A level should expect to be push to oda department. Hoping for you guys Even my friend with 6 points DAT will thought had little or no chance was given His course civil engineering. Anoda with 8points was given physiotherapy. Those candidates choose it so I will advice you to choose wisely when choosing Courses in UI. If not if you don't meet your course cutoff don't be surprise that those with Lower marks than you will later get higher courses than you

A man in the admision office asked who is chasing the admission on my behalf, i responded by saying no 1 but me. He also ask for the course i applied for, i said e/e. After which he directed me to rum 216. on getting there i checked the list for e/e applicant and saw my name with Q (qualified in front of it) and i ask why am yet to get d admisn, mr jeje replied that some list will be sent to jamb office by next week that i should check the site by friday since my name was qualified on the list he gave me. He then said you can go.
at this point it is better one has God or strong connection.
All i have is my ALLAH, in him i trust.
Note: d staff at rum 216 said the list is being released in batches. do all hope is not lost.

HARDUBUY: This guy is just funny but i stand to disagree bro. A'level may be difficult, so is A DISTINCTIVE ND. Try EEC 249(circuit theory) 1&2. A 300l course in universities, get 75% then u get an A1 in yabatech. A pre-requisite course.

HARDUBUY: i just checked mine through jamb site, but to no avail i didn't get it. the question now is, how was the admission process carried out, the yastic, criteria and qualification requirement to attain admission in OAU? eg in elect/elect.
Even after submitting my transcript from yabatech. with distinction from elect/elect (3.63) and a one sitting waec result as recommended. what else do OAU needs. in Allah i trust, cos UI DE list is around. may we all have reasons to smile at the end.
