I tire for Asaju....medicals I did last Thursday...dey called me today sayin I shuld cum for anoda one ..reason: my blood underwent Hameolysis n dey culdnt get any info frm it.....c English abeg!! had to rush bak n do anoda.. one....of all d pple dem don dey do d tin for...y na my own cum dey among d rare cases? For say dey give me d 2k I spend on Cab I for dey endure sef...na so so sorry I jst dey hear...

ChriGo: ....Its not true...what i noticed is that asaju's medics get to cdhc within one week....consultant practice takes 2-4weeks(normal scenerio)....i was told my medics has been sent to france so hopefully they work on it between now and friday.....TRV LOADING!!! ....

apple08: Well with the little i know, Paris noticed sumtin in ur lungs when they viewed ur x-ray, dats why they requested for another one, notin to worry just keep on Praying bro, it will definately come out positive but u can still storm cdhc to check if ur medics has arrived, ur TRV might just be waiting there for u....

apple 8 u on point n on key!! sumtyms its best to go say helo to CDHC folks. Indeed ur TRV mayb right there waiting for u...

kitty_sunshine: did cdhc give u a deadline? If they did just inform the contact person in ur sch of the deadline. They will scan ur letter to u then u can print it coluored on conqueror paper to make it more presentable. If the new offer letter is not ready, u can send the other documents with the e-mail to the embassy. You will need to write a letter informing them u got a new start date for january but the letter isn't available yet and u will send it as soon as u have it. Then refer the VO to the E-mail conversation. I did dat and it worked. The lady called M̶̲̥̅E̶̲̥̅ not to worry but I sud provide it as soon as possible to avoid further delays.

A 30 day deadline was given for me to submit my transcript. will write a letter referin to d email from grad secatary (which I will print) n inform d VO (Dnt knw d meanin of VO o lol....bt I smell its d officer who will look at my document dat is called a VO) dat I will send d offical letter to dem later wen its received.. wuld do so on Monday

kitty_sunshine: Yes, it can be requested at any time. A friend of mine was supposed to resume for fall session. Due to delay in visa processing, she got a letter from her school after medical that she can resume in the first week of October since her course does not have a winter start date. After medical, CDHC requested that she pays 1yr tuition and boarding which she did and forwarded her receipt. Just last week the embassy called her to provide another letter from the school saying they will still take her since first week of October has passed. The school declined and now she has to wait till Sept 2014. Its so sad after all the stress. But its different strokes for different folks. All na God. When its ur time, its ur time. One should just prepare for anything. One thing I have learnt with CDHC, start early, give them all the time they need and D̶̲̥̅̊☺ ur packaging well.

Tanks alot Kitty. Myn is a full scholarship evrytin had been paid by d sch n I submitted d proof to CDHC. I did my medicals last week Thursday. And in the envelope I was given by VFS CDHC only requested for transcripts( which I emailed to dem dat same day) of my previous sch in SA( even after giving them my original statement of result-it beats me y dey stil want transcripts). I was to resume in August but cos of d delay its now in January. The lady working with VFS suggested to me on last wk Thur that when I am returning my pasport, I shuld include a deferral letter. I immediately emailed my sch reqursting for one since they had earlier agreed to allow me resume in Jan..but till now I have not heard from them. And earlier I resubmit my passport n printed copy of my transcript d to VFS d earlier I will b given my TRV. I'm contemplating weda to jst resubmit on it witout d deferral letter on Tue if I dont get d deferal letter by Monday..den maybe if I'm called n asked for it, mayb den my sch wuld have sent it n I wuld just email it to them.

hi guys..did my medicals ysdy. if not for d delay should hav resumed in fall. new resumption date is Jan 2014. Sha, CDC didn't request for any deferral documet in d letter addressed to me in d envelope I got from VFS..shud I jst still submit one? They only asked for transcripts which I have emailed.

Ur SOP is more important than ur SOA. It should be related to ur course of study.
Be convincing enuf thats all! my sponsor's account had only 3.2m
Ps: getting a trv is just half of the battle, so I'm getting to realise, all d same, we thank God.

All u need do is go to the uni of choice....go to d dept of choice...go to d research area of choice...c d list of staff doin dat research...click on each one...read his or her profile...check on his profile/personal webpage if he has openings...if he does den email him or her with stating ur intent of workin with him..b sure u have a good CV n nyc cover letter( it basicaly says sumtin abt ur academic history n research interestz..) I hope dis helpz

jaymdee: Yes, congrats. That's the standard way. Go and pick your passport for medicals and maybe further instructions on fees payment.

ook..tanks man..not expectin to pay any fees cos I got a full scholarship which includes feedin..boardin tutition etc..which clinic uploads d medical result faster...dnt want uneccesary delays..

kclexa: The fee is 28k at all approved clinics. Note that you would need accommodation a day before the medicals so that you can arrive the clinic early. Call q_link as well cos theyare both in Victoria Island and about 5 minutes drive apart.

I reside in d Kaduna. I think will just come to Lag..my uncle works in VI. Since d clinic is in VI and d embassy is in VI, I tink the reuslts will b sent to d embassy faster than if I did it in Abj....do I need to get my orginal passport from VFS before proceeding to d clinic?

sampitts: sure you can. Just write an application stating u want to withdraw your passport.. They'll give it to you n wont affect ur application process... How long are you going to stay in cameroon?

Hi folks...I applied for a Canadian student visa since 6th of June 2013..hav not been called for medicals. Currently I need to travel to Cameroon and I need my passport.Can my passport be returned to me without my application withdrawn?
