i'm not a fan of ambode or jimi agbaje but one thing i would love every lagosian to do is to vote for the candidate that you can trust. i'm not a fan of PdP government. if PDP should win on saturday then every lagosian should be ready for 4 years of civil unrest because past PdP government in south west was associated with thuggery and armed robbery. Ekiti state is still suffering from that till date. dont get me wrong, fayose is a very nice man but he's got hooliganism in his blood. To all my igbo brothers. your businesses are thriving in lagos because there's has been peace in lagos and babatunde fashola tried in terms of security in lagos. you can vote for PDP but there is one thing i can assure you. lagos will not be peaceful again because all those thugs that BRF had sent away from lagos will come back and your businesses will not be safe again. vote wisely!! |

Warri billionaire Ayiri Emami, who was spotted with the national leader of APC, Bola Tinubu recently, has dumped PDP for APC. The former staunch PDP member, who campaigned tirelessly for the party before president Jonathan lost his re-election bid, is reported to have shown his supporters his APC card at his home in Ubeji, Warri today. He told his supporters to join him in the winning party as the PDP umbrella was leaking and could no longer provide shelter for them. He then asked them to vote for the APC governorship candidate in Delta, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor. |

Letter to Jimi Agbaje from a Concerned Lagosian - Uchenna Jimi Agbaje Should Desist From Making His Mandate An Igbo Agenda Dear Jimi Agbaje, I wish to use this channel to make this unambiguouslly clear. As an Igboman who has spent a good number of years in Lagos, I am very uncomfortable with all your gimmicks in this electoral season. It is important you take full cognizance that the contest between you and Mr. Ambode of the APC is for the post of the Executive Governor of Lagos State and not for any other State located elsewhere. Therefore I frown at your divisive campaign strategy of pitching law-abiding non-indigenous residents in the State against the rest of the good people of Lagos. If anything, the outcome of the just concluded Presidential Election that saw the kicking out of a sitting President who hinged his campaign on such divisive antics, should serve as a lesson for you. But most especially, I frown at your latest plot of making your support-base primarily an Igbo Agenda. It will interest you to know that I have no problem with any individual voting for you, but you colluding with Ifeanyi Uba, OPC and TAN to exploit and undermine the peaceful co-existence between Ndigbo and their Host Community for your personal agenda is totally unacceptable. This good relationship you see today, took generations to build - therefore we cannot keep silence and watch you tear it down. Keep your campaign open to all and desist from sowing the seed of division. And we have not forgotten how you promised to collude with Militants in Niger Delta to sabotage the economy if Jonathan loses. At least now if there is any crisis in the creek, we know who to bring in for details about the plan to sabotage the economy of Nigeria. I wish you well and also look forward to hear you call Ambode once the votes are counted this weekend just like President Jonathan did. Please be wise! |
the topic should be reported, it is an act of war |
great points, i wish people would think like you |
Tattooboy:Nice 1, that's the point people don't know |
ambode i will vote you with all my heart |
The fear of Buhari is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of Buhari is the beginning of Nigerian systems' sanitation. *Nigerian Army finds Buhari's certificate*Missing $20b found with Zenith bank*NTA calling GMB masters degree holder *Dezieni visits Abdulsalami;*Industrial training fund (ITF) began payment of outstanding fees they have been owing students for more than 2yrs;*Nigerian stock market recorded a gain of #906b biggest gain in 50yrs;*Naira made a gain of #27 against the dollar;*Numerous filling stations that were padlocked under the pretext of fuel scarcity suddenly opened gates for business. The war on corruption and indiscipline has already started. sai baba buhari |

The coalition of Christian Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Lagos state, led by Archbishop Magnus Adeyemi Atilade, Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (South-West), declared today that the Christians in Lagos will give their full support to the All Progressives Congress (APC), to ensure that the state keeps moving forward. They said this today at an event held to formally endorse Akinwunmi Ambode, the APC gubernatorial candidate, as the next Executive Governor of the state. According to Archbishop Atilade, the endorsement of Ambode is hinged on the Christian body’s belief in a guided and progressive democracy, and also on Ambode’s proven ability to perform as an astute administrator. “The Christians in Lagos acknowledge that the state has seen steady progress since the inception of this democracy, and as regards the incoming state elections, we together say ‘forward ever, backward never’” |
AMBODE IS SPECIAL GUEST AS LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT DONATES BUSES TO STUDENT UNIONS The All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, was the Special Guest as leaders of Students’ Union bodies in Lagos Tertiary institutions received bus donations from the state government today. Mr. Ambode joined the state Governor, His Excellency, Babatunde Fashola (SAN) and the state Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Olayinka Oladunjoye, at the presentation ceremony held at the State House in Alausa Ikeja. According to Mrs. Oladunjoye, the buses were made available to bodies to facilitate intra- and inter-school transport of the union leaders. Governor Fashola added that the bus donation symbolizes one of the many responses to the yearnings of the student leaders for support, and it further depicts the commitment of the APC government to the welfare of all its citizens at every level. He added that Ambode will consolidate on such commitments, even now that an APC government will be at the centre. The students used the moment to declare their support for the continuity of the APC government in Lagos. They expressed readiness to put their strength to use to ensure that Akinwunmi emerges victorious in the gubernatorial election coming up on 11th of April, 2015. The student union bodies that benefited from the donation included those from the Lagos state University, University of Lagos, School of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Federal College of Education, Lagos State College of Health Technology, Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, National Association of Nigerian Students, Lagos State Polytechnic, and St. Augustine College of Education. |
