Islam for Muslims / Re: Muslims Dont Talk Nor Open Their Mouth In Toilets by Queenisha1: 8:13pm On Sep 25, 2008 |
davidylan: My dear the thing is pathetic. He's the same guy that told us there is just one Koran. One Koran only and that the million English and other language translations don't count. Then when we pushed him to a wall and gave him evidence of other Korans he said this Not surprising that the author of the article that you quoted from, to illustrate the 'slight variations,' as he said in the Qur'an will say what he said. I am a Yoruba man, and you will know that from my name. I learnt how read the Qur'an in Arabic in America. Thank God. This is the greatest achievement of my life. It has opened my heart to the religion that you are trying so hard to put down and drag it in the same damp filth that you have your own religion and its book. How pathetic that he knew this all along and yet would ridicule the Bible for different translations which merely for the most part means different English style and nothing more when the Koran has many versions too. |

olabowale: If versions mean corruption so is the Koran. Didn't we tackle that subject sometime last year or so where you were put to shame? my dear act your age and stop telling clear lies. Have you forgotten this thread? Especially the submissions by pilgrim? These lies are getting too old my dear Please see the thread where that was tackled and refresh your memory including the hadiths that tell you of omissions in the Koran at compilationhttps://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-107465.0.html#msg1876992 |

First off Pilgrim1, I thank the Lord who has called us all from darkness into his marvellous light. can you tell us a bit about growing up from a Muslim background. |

I have come to admire pilgrim1 and the unique perspective she brings to the religious threads. Statistics tell us that 6 million born Muslims in Africa alone become Christians per year. That is 667/hour 16000/day that was the statistics from the Muslim cleric Al Quataani on Al Jezeera. How true that is,I don't know But what I do know is that right here on nairaland, I know a few including my sister and friend pilgrim1 she has graciously agreed to give an insight into Islam as she was taught and why she became a soldier of Christ. Please let all contributors be respectful. This may be an eye opening thread. I am also willing to learn. 2 Likes 3 Shares |

pilgrim,I want to start a thread centered around you and other ex Muslims where people can ask you and others sincere questions. I would like to know what you were taught as kids and what Islam says about certain things with valid quotations and most importantly how you came to Christ. I'm sure It'll be an eye opener and perhaps an evangelism tool for others. |

@ the poster sistawoman has given you the best of advice Children can be manipulative and if you give in,you're not doing him a favour. Love him and that requires being tough sometimes. He has legs, let him walk. Sit him down, look him square in the face and say something like Lookie here Oseloka People walk you see mom and I walking we love to walk You're now a big boy and big boys walk let him cry and draw crayons all over the wall but he'll eventually get the message once you stick to the same routine and your wife has to be that firm too. women have a tendency to baby their boys. |
