Unlike Muslims who are born Muslims, no one is born a Christian. One accepts Christ at an age of reasoning.I was born into a church going family, that did not make me a Christian. I may have written Christianity as my religion but that didn't make me one in the Biblical sense of that word. It is a conscious decision to be a Christian. It is neither hereditary nor familial. 3 Likes 1 Share |

ayinba1: Good night! pilgrim dear,I cannot wait to read more tomorrow If you care can you tell us 1.what you learnt about eternal life and what you now know 2.Assurance of salvation as prior to your salvation and now 3.Your teachings about what Allah was to you and who God is to you now 4.Your former misconceptions about Christianity especially on -The trinity doctrine -Bible translations vs One Koran penned by allah himself -The doctrine that the Bible is corrupted number 4 is especially important to me since it'll give more incite to the things I hear my Muslim friends say despite 1001 explanations given. How did you get past that in your walk with the Lord. |

tRoOE: Jn 14 6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." 8 Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us." 9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? 1 Like 1 Share |

a part of her post that that had me lifting my hands and shouting Halleluia Then one day, I went downstairs after having been suddenly woken up. I saw my dad bent over on his knees - arms spread out, and I knew he was not praying to Allah! Muslims surely did not bow the way he was bowed! So, I crept silently towards him and saw his face. . glsitening with tears. His eyes were so gently shut, but he was evidently out of this world. You only need to be there to understand that there are times when people who are filled with the Spirit are so disconnected and fearless that they are too confident nothing around them can harm them! |

Pilgrim argued the same way maybe fiercer before she came into the glorious light of God. We've seen bigger masquerades pilgrim wrote: During this time, my dad was no longer attending masjid (although I don't know when exactly he converted and became a Christian). As children, we didn't bother to ask him about it, because there were many muslims around us as well who were not too keen about attending masjid (mosque). What people don't realise was that even in Atlanta, there were evidently extreme elements who made it their duty to "eliminate" defecters and "apostates". I knew all this - I knew that it only would take just a report and the 'apostate' is quitely 'removed' from daylight. Didn't we see the above highlighted part displayed here on nairaland and continuing. Movies are made, books are written no Christians threaten anyone because it's not by power nor by might. If God did it for this lady, and millions annually in Africa alone, Olabowale is a piece of meat. 1 Like 1 Share |

ayinba1: I stand here as a testimony that instant healing is real. I was 10 years old In my village for Chistmas with my parents. This group of SU guys were shooting a movie in an open area next to our home and I went there with my baby brother The movie was about hell and was very scary to me as a child. I also had this very bad harmattan cough that plagued me sincewe arrived the village Anyway after the movie, the preached a while and asked people who were sick to raise their hands.I did They asked us to place it where it hurt and if we couldn't reach it to place it our chest,I did And they prayed a simple prayer and Instantaneously as Jehovah is my witness, that cough was gone. That was my first encounter that God is truly powerful This was way before I gave my life to Christ so don't tell me miracles don't happen. I have experienced one myself and there's more but let me not change the subject 1 Like |

davidylan: One of my colleagues is Pakistani. Very wonderful physician,he's also my mother's doctor. I have come very close to sharing the gospel with him but I always draw back because I don't want to be seen as "preaching on the job" Or harassing a Muslim on the job People are hungry for Christ . It's amazing. I've prayed for patients being examined, I've prayed for office staff. All I did was listen to their problems and ask if I could tell them about Jesus and his healing power. And I've never had anyone say no 1 Like |

pilgrim.1: Pardon me, so I did ask ? Thank you for doing it at the right time. This testimony should be in a printed pamphlet form and could serve as an evangelism tool. Now, this is not some stranger on youtube. This is authentic. I'm not wealthy but if you need help with finances to do this, I pledge my support. And I will speak to like minded Christians for their support God will make a way and I want to be part of that blessing. But again, this will be at His own timing. The harvest is plenteous at His timing. 1 Like |

rampagain: Nne God is good o When pilgrim went on a long hiatus from nairaland ,I prayed for her because I know that she can reach people I could never reach. I wish shahan,mlk_baby and m4malik would come back to Nairaland this very minute. Very smart siblings who were born Muslims too until Christ reached out and pulled them up like he did us all. Please let's all ignore all the side comments so as not to derail 2 Likes |

Jesus is Lord of all. Earlier in the year on one of "our threads", I had this idea regarding a testimonial thread like this. But I guess that wasn't the right time. Judging by what pilgrim said, several people including atheists and Muslims have inquired of her conversion but she did not oblige them. Our God works with seasons and times. The same way my miracle may not come right when I pray, that doesn't mean God hasn't heard me. And when the same thing was impressed upon me a second time I took my chance and as God will have,it was also his perfect time. I know that this testimony will bless me and strengthen my faith. It has already. I also know without a shadow of a doubt that this testimony will bring someone or some people to Christ. When? I don't know But one thing I do know is that no word of God goes out without accomplishing what it was sent for,as the Bible says. 5 Likes 1 Share |
