I put to bed on the 7th February via VD with episiotomy (that shit is real)

I had been having labour pain on and off for about 3 weeks before delivery, but on Monday, I went to work, dropped my leave letter, went round ikeja city mall, went to do a scan, market, cooked. It was while rinsing tomato and pepper and eating dates at the same time that I noticed that I was contracting more regularly, and twas more painful, and I noticed slimy, clear discharge, I timed it for about an hour, then told my brother in law that we should head to the hospital, I drove there, they checked me and said nothing was happening, false alar, drove back home still having painful contractions o.
At about 8om, I noticed it was more painful and I wiped and sae little blood, ate semi, couldn't finish it sef, then I had my husband's cousin drive me to the hospital.
Omo, the pain was now more, more blood, and was in pain all through the night, my husband joined me at the hospital at about 11 pm, he was pitying me, by morning my mother and sister came, and they just stayed by me, doctors kept checking... 20%, 50%...2cm for hours unend, then suddenly after the last checking, u felt my water break, my sister cleaned me, and that mad pain started, omo, I screamed the hospital down, holy spirit, God the father and son hear their names tire, the pain keep on o, vomited over and over, when I got tired of screaming, I just started trying to bend the bed-frame's metal, my husband hear am, I shouted at him a lot, labour no be bean at all o, total was about 28 hours of labour. When I was pushing and he was stuck in my birth canal and no one knew why, so the nurse cut me and I pushed and she saw cord round his neck and he was face up, she shouted and quickly cut the cord, when he came out, he did not cry at first, they had to beat him.
MY gift from heaven weighed 3.25kg and he resemble him papa with everything, even with birth marks.

My dh tried o, he was there from start to finish, if not for him, kept being my support o.

The stiches are very uncomfortable o, kai, I still dry hear am... BTW... Naming is on Valentine's day o

Abeg, I wan ask o, I cream lo with Ori (not the normal 1 we buy) mixeD with ABF cream n 1 reD n black capsule, the whole tin was mixeD by a nurse in the hospital cos lo haD rashes then, it really working effectively, lo skin is smooth but want to know if the mixture is safe 4 him..abeg make una help me chook mouth o, n if not which 1 I fit use.

Another question, is pacifier good 4 babies cos I bought 4 lo cos the boy wan turn me to human pacifier. He wants my nipple to remain in his mouth till he sleeps off

Also, MIL has been begging me to give lo water o, that how will he eat eba without water cos he is EBF she claims he has to drink water ontop breast milk to be fully satisfied .. the tin tire me o I no know how to tackle the matter as I catch her 1 day trying to give my baby water ..

NOTE: he is just 7weeks old..

Nifeseun if it's exclusive breastfeeding you want to do please no water, unless it's breastfeeding without the exclusive then you can offer water.

As for that mixture may God have mercy on that nurse that's all I want to say cos if I say more you won't like my tone. Maybe later if my anger done take chill pill I fit write something nicely! Weludon to the two both of you

You can use the pacifier it will give you a breather on some days just don't let lo get addicted to it.

That person is just like me ooooo . I remembered when at a bank one man just came and went straight to the cashier and dropped his money to deposit. I immediately confront the man and the lady cashier and when she said the man came earlier, others on queue said it wasnt true because we've been on the queue for about 3hours and I told the manager who had to come out of her office to rescue the situation that they should go and check their cctv because I was very sure of myself and i made sure I paid before him.

Sorry for the nipple pain. Mine was bruised and bleeding after the first week. My doctor told me to augment with formula so my nipples could heal as I couldn't continue giving him the bleeding nipples. One week later my nipples were healed but he had a hard time latching. Took us a week to master the art of latching but my boy sucks for Africa he can be on the breast for 2hours! So by the time he's done, my nipples will end up feeling sore.
Thank God for the nipple shield we are gradually adjusting

I think it is part of the package. I scratch a lot especially my left so tey now i have marks on my breast( i enjoy scatching smtimes sha as d tin dey sweet.lol)

When I was still pregnant with my ds, sleeping on the right side was a lot more convenient for me. Though I switched to the left from time to time, it was only when I slept on my right side that I got a good night sleep.

You can sleep on your right but make sure you interchange and sleep on your left side as much as you sleep on your right side

Also, scary dreams are part of the pregnancy package. I had so many of them and they felt so real. There was one that was so bad, I woke up depressed. I had dreamt that I lost the pregnancy at twenty something weeks. Dh noticed and asked about it when I told him he simply held my hand and prayed for me and my baby. And then I've had several others that I woke up shouting or some that I was just talking and turning till dh will wake me or hold me.
