Dawa(dunno d English name )
Sweet potato
Debinu
Ginger
Tigernuts(Aya)
STAGE 1
1. Soak dawa and Aya(dry type) separately in wqter for atleast 24hr.
2.wash the oda ingredients very well. for the debinu slit open and remove the hard seed. this is vry easy when it gets soft
3.Grind every thing together to a paste(just lik u do for pap).
STAGE 2
When u get home, u seive it with your muslin(that linen-like material they us for pap too). You sieve just like u do for pap. After tht you heat for some minutes , leave to cool then refrigerate
Your kunu is ready for enjoyment

LoL.. where can I get Tigernuts and dried potatoes no2. U mean I don't need to cook it on fire? No3. Won't it taste raw..

METHOD
Soak d guinea corn n tigernut together(overnight)
Grind the following day n grind d potatoes n Siro 2geda but not mixed wit the guinea corn!
Pour d grinded guinea corn in a large bowl n mix(do not add water,just mix)
Then add boiled water(If your using 2measures of guinea corn,use one rubber paint boiled water i.e the 20liters)
When it con Siro to it!
Then sugar to taste n sieve wen cold!Do n pay consultation fee

Just leave the date as it is I think the date is because of the baby weight cuz my baby weighed 2.49kg.

I guess later scans are not always accurate as lo tends to be very active they move around alot giving Doc hard time to get accurate measurement

OYA EXPLAIN UR Method

Will try it Thank you

Ingredients
Millet/jero
Dry ginger
Kanafuru/ cloves
Dry pepper
Dried denkeli/sweet potato (optional)
Sugar to taste
1 liter of boiling water
1 liter of cold water

Unfortunately i cant give you measurements as I tend to eyeball it. You need to b careful of how much cloves you add as it can quickly change the taste. Pepper should be added according to how 'hot' you want it.

Method

Soak jero, ginger, cloves, pepper and denkeli (optional,i hardly use it) overnight. Wash until clear and soak again (total of 2 days)

Blend all ingredients.

Pour into a big bowl, take 1 cup out
Add the hot water to the bowl and mix ). Bring to boil (5 mins - 8mins, this part is guestimation i really im sorry as ita second nature) let it cook as you would pap/ogi/custard

Add the one cup back in with the cold water
Mix everything together and the using a cheesecloth or sieve or an organza fabric, remove the chaff. Your drink is ready. Add sugar to taste. You can freeze it in small bottles or keep in the fridge.

I probably didnt give the best way as i jiat make it anyway. Grew up in the north so enjoyed loads of northern food and kind of just knew the process but not how much of each ingredients you would require.

Today, I just make it when I feel like it and most especially in the summer.

I've heard people use it to increase milk supply. I havent tried this but to each their own.

Pls I have a few issues

1. When my ds is sleeping, he twists and turns and grunts and folds his legs up [like assuming the fetal position]. Is this normal? This happens mostly when he sleeps at night. The only time it does not happen is when he sleeps on my chest.

trying agbo if it's genuine is no big deal infact it's better dan cream made with chemical eilais something that comes from within yoruba will say it's dirty blood dat caused it and when ur baby drinks agbo it will flush it away , then use the agbo to bath her will clear it and prevents it from reoccuring

good it's usually not a cus for alarm if it's colourless then it's called colostrum experienced it before I even knew I was pregnant my left nipple but it was colourless and it vanished it sef..

are you bleeding or spotting(this is wen u see small blood like a discharge) not a cus for alarm if it's spotting all u need is a lot of rest and avoid climbing bridges if ure working explain to them at work that Doc asked u not to stress so that they won't overwork u at work.. and also restrain from home shores like sweeping, cleaning even cooking sef and take a lot of fluid..

yes d spit reduced in size but still spits regularly have tried differentbrands of gums na only these yellow crackers biscuit deyou work but it makes my throat dry n i hv to drink water on regular bases e no easy I don accept am .. as per shopping I will start next month gradually by God's grace. Please o, what is TT? Is it not a normal injection, why should it be painful afterwards,?

it's tetanus injection usually taken at 2nd trimester I.e frm week 12 and interval of 4wks for d 2nd dose and after birth for d 3rd dose its like immunisation for pregnant women which is necessary and to be taken at d appropriate time..

was rushed to the hospital yesternight around 1am when I started feeling dizzy
by the time I got to the hospital I started leaking fluid and I am just 23 weeks gone

so doctor just put me on bed rest, saying i have low blood pressure and threatened abortion and malaria , also my placenta was lying very low but baby is actively kicking

Make una follow me up with prayers cos I am tired of the bed rest already

In early stage of pregnancy sleeping on ur back won't hurt but by d time you get to 2nd trimester u will feel the need for adjustment
