It was NOT only Trump and Kamala that competed. A bunch of other parties also competed. See example below. Watchu think? Will they ever win? You ought rank the winners between enthusiastic and lukewarm. Some were hedging bets. I was the only one who predicted the landslide QuinQ: Of course it will be Trump. The question is by how much. I'm betting landslide |

Trump lies about election rigging but was calling on states to manufacture votes for him in PA to get him to win? Does that sound like a sincere person to you?

I’m concerned Trump supporters will harass and intimidate voters.
They’re already planning to cause more violence. Report every threat you see (If you’re in the USA).
They’ll go to jail like their Jan 6 predecessors. I thought Trump was the one hell bent on having a clean and transparent election - he aiways appears paranoid of Democrats rigging |

SonofElElyonRet: Is it about what you or anyone considers to be fair or seeking and finding the exclusive/objective truth? Christianity forces no one to accept Christ... it is a voluntary decision. Ours is to tell the truth as taught by him who is the way, the truth and the life. Here ends my response on the matter. God bless you. Shalom There ought be some semblance of fairness to things, don't you think? Don't you believe things ought make a little bit of sense? Shalom and God bless you |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Equatorial Guinea Sex Scandal: Woman Allegedly Commits Suicide On Seeing Videos by QuinQ(f): 9:19pm On Nov 05, 2024 |
SonofElElyonRet: No point in arguing this.. because obviously you do not believe that being born again is the crux of Christianity and therefore all further discussions are valueless... i have addressed your argument regarding Islam being fastest growing religion and i maintain that there are more voluntary conversions to Christianity because inter alia, evangelism is fundamental to Christianity. The good news of Christ is shared by followers of Jesus. This has been on going since the first century despite persecutions and killings (you conveniently avoid the truth that Christians are undoubtedly the most persecuted faith people and yet remain peaceful while spreading the gospel). You go and research into the great persecution of Christians by the Roman empire and the way they were killed for sport in amphitheatres yet they kept the Faith. Regarding some people having dreams to become Muslims, good for them (God does not give those he wishes to lead to Christ scary bizarre dreams.. only dreams of peace and assurance). The truth is in the quality of the message, the power in the name of the founder, the miracles through his name.. holiness and righteousness, love as the central message and the general acceptance of the founder as one who leads to God (no one has any valid accusation of wrongdoing against Christ and his message of reconciliation with God for he is the only mediator between God and man). Even Muslims acknowledge that Jesus is seated with God in heaven and will come back again.. Shalom You did imply Christians don't have dreams to become Muslims. Most of the dreams are NOT scary. Lots of such videos on YouTube. Oh, there is not much of an argument. It is obvious your being a Christian is mainly a function of place of birth - which you never chose. If you were born in SA, and brought up that God can't have a son and that nobody can die for another person's sins, you'd be sorry for anybody talking about Christ - because you'd be sure they wouldn't make heaven. As for "Christian", until you invent your own language, a person who professes BELIEF in Christianity or in Christ as the WAY to God is a Christian |

SonofElElyonRet: P.S. about me being a fanatic jihadist if born in Saudi Arabia.. whoever truly seeks God will find him.. Jesus said whoever seeketh, findeth. Do a Google search and you'll discover several Islamic hardliners / fanatics who got born again.. some even members of terrorist organisations.. Well, they'll tell you they sought God and found Him - why they're Muslims. But do you think it is fair to expect them to abandon all they know from childhood, abandon all they believe have been sustaining them and answering their prayers and follow your own way or burn in fire forever. You really think that's fair? Would you do same? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Equatorial Guinea Sex Scandal: Woman Allegedly Commits Suicide On Seeing Videos by QuinQ(f): 8:00pm On Nov 05, 2024 |
SonofElElyonRet: Not at all.. hardly would you find a Christian who will tell you he was told to be a Muslim in his dreams.. and without doubt more people have willingly gone from Muslim to Christian than vice versa, if you want to be honest. Christianity is about willingly accepting Christ. I have told you that going to church and ticking the Christianity box doesn't make you a Christian. You must be born again. Islam being the fastest growing religion is indeed debatable and can be contested. However someone marrying 3 wives and having maybe concubines would obviously have a lot of children.. this high birth rate among Muslims and forced conversions in some areas definitely would give high numbers to Islam. I am talking about voluntary conversions
P.S. about me being a fanatic jihadist if born in Saudi Arabia.. whoever truly seeks God will find him.. Jesus said whoever seeketh, findeth. Do a Google search and you'll discover several Islamic hardliners / fanatics who got born again.. some even members of terrorist organisations.. I guess all these dreams and conversions below never happened Your talk about who is Christian, first define "Christian" and you'll quickly see you're wrong and what you're saying is not biblical

Foreign Affairs › Re: Equatorial Guinea Sex Scandal: Woman Allegedly Commits Suicide On Seeing Videos by QuinQ(f): 6:46pm On Nov 05, 2024 |
SonofElElyonRet: You haven't heard of Muslims becoming Christians because they had major challenges in life and sought help from Jesus and the power in his name saved them? Bakare of latter rain assembly was a Muslim.. the list is long. The bible says the kingdom of God is not only in word but in power. I know of a Muslim who slept and dreamt and was shown John 1:1. He woke up and asked around the meaning. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Unfortunately he didn't give his life to Jesus despite the dream. I myself was shown a verse in the bible in my dream when i was having horrible nightmares. I woke up immediately and opened the bible to see what it said.. "while men slept the enemy came..." God clearly telling me i was under dream attack. I am a Christian because i have experienced the power of God. Anyone who seeks the truth will find it. A church goer not born again is not a Christian ! Well, there are more Christians (or at least people) becoming Muslims. See below. Specifically I've watched videos of former pastor whose father was a GO testifying on becoming Muslim. Many also become Muslims after being ministered to in dreams. But bottom line is, there is almost zero chance you’ll be a Christian today if you were born in Saudi Arabia. More likely is that you'll be a fanatic jihadist!

SonofElElyonRet: ýou can not on your own be righteous enough to please God. It is written that our righteousness are as filthy rags.. the lusts of the eyes and flesh and the pride of life are formidable foes. Also temptations are not totally irresistible without the Holy Spirit which Christ alone gives.. remember also that there is a war between thr forces of light and darkness. Jesus alone is recognised by God as the rightful (De Jure) ruler of the earth while satan is a usurper (de facto ruler) who presently reigns. Each soul must choose his side. No sitting on the fence. Neutrality is rebellion against the anointed one of God. However in all this, a person who has never heard the gospel will be judged according to his heart and conscience as it would be unjust for the just God to punish the ones who never heard about Jesus. For those who reject God's chosen King and earth's rightful ruler (the Son of Man and Son of God, Jesus) , they join in Satan's rebellion and will suffer same fate... the lake of fire Matthew 25:41 But. let's be honest, you're touting all this because you were likely born in a Christian community and it was fed you right from childhood. Suppose you were born in a Muslim or Hindu society and was fed something totally different, then in the middle of it someone comes with a message totally alien to you and if you don't accept it you'll burn in fire forever. Does that seem fair to you? Shouldn't everyone start on same footing for such extreme punishment? Suppose someone comes to you with same about Islam, would you abandon Christianity and embrace Islam? |

SonofElElyonRet: Because there is the hereafter... and obviously the righteous goes to a blissful place.. everyone dreams of going there... But being righteous or accepting Christ ot not is dependent on where you were born, the kind of nature and brain you were given, and the kind of experiences you had - non of which you chose. If this were meant to be a test everyone ought start with same everything. Don't you agree? |

Krismas: U are entitled to ur own opinions. I merely gave u a slight history of how paper currency evolved, so u can research it some more. But asking why Picasso is expensive is very unintelligent indeed and suggesting that since the likes of Trump use Crypto the the Coins worth must stern from something other than the crime it helps to facilitate, is beyond dumb. U think Trump and Musk are clean? Why do most governments ban crypto? Then America maybe touted as the highest producer of oil but America consumes almost all the oil it produces, necessitating buying to fill up its daily oil needs. When has EU ever wanted to replace the dollar, when all they do, is behave like America’s puppet? The need to replace the dollar is not born out of hate for America or any such silly notion. It’s the inadequacy of the dollar. The balance of trade between America and China is 1:3, meaning America needs China 3times more than China needs America. So why should China accept the dollar? Is dollar Chinese currency? The dollar will certainly be replaced. No matter how long it takes, even now the dollar is gradually being pushed to the side. Thanks and bye. You sound so inadequate. Firstly, Picasso is expensive because it is impossible to make more - same reason bitcoin is so highly valued. When something is of fixed amount the value in the end will always go up. Unlike, say, the dollar - the value will continually go down (inflation) because they can and do make more and more as needed. Secondly, the dumbest thing you've said so far is that America needs China because America buys 3 times from China than China from America. Exactly the opposite and that's why BRIC can't work - China NEEDS America to keep buying their goods. EVERYTHING USA buys from China they can make themselves or can buy elsewhere. That's also the reason China CAN'T ask US to pay their debt - anything that can drive down value of the dollar will cause US to drastically reduce importation from China! Thirdly, US was exporting oil during Trump's regime. They can easily still be doing so Fourthly, Euro indeed was touted as the currency that'd supplant the dollar and in some quarters it still is |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Brazil 2nd Brics Country After India Not To Join China's BRI. by QuinQ(f): 1:57pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
Krismas: I don’t know what commodity nations exchange with nations using bitcoin? Bitcoin seeks to bypass financial institutions and is more and more going to receive crackdown from governments. The value of bitcoin is high because it’s used for funding criminal activities like money laundering, assassination, prostitution, drug trafficking, trafficking in persons, organ sales, slave trade etc. it’s used for horrible sundry illicit business. Hence it attracts high patronage. So, stop mentioning bitcoin in a discussion of money. Paper currency in the past, used to be mere receipts showing you have gold in the bank until the 70s, when America confiscated everyone’s gold and told people that the receipt they now have in their hands is now effectively their gold. The only reason why such nonsense piece of paper is accepted outside their country is cos they made an arrangement with Saudi Arabia plus OPEC to accept the piece of paper only for trading their crude. In exchange for security of navigation on the seas and weapons supplies for 50yrs. Now the deal has lapsed. And Saudi is yet to renew it. Saudi sees that America cannot defeat Houthi blockade on the seas and also American weapons are neither the best nor are they affordable. Essentially America can’t hold up their end of the bargain. So, why don’t countries simply return back to trading with gold among themselves? What is the need for any GREEN-BACKED note as intermediary? It’s not called gold-backed, but green-backed. Useless, backed by nothing, payed for by Saudi oil. While they can sit back and print as many as they want to sponsor useless wars around the globe and sanction anyone they don’t like with it. So, a new means for international transactions is UNSTOPPABLE. It’s already happening in BRICS, using their local currencies to trade among themselves and India’s financial arrangement with UAE bypassing SWIFT. By and by, nations will finally agree on what will be the international standard of exchange and dollar will be confined to the cabbage of international monetary history You are clueless. Both the world's richest man, Elon, and the man likely to win, Trump, are both gung-ho on crypto. If bitcoin's value stems from it being used for nefarious activities, why is an ugly Picasso worth millions? Answer that question and you'll learn why bitcoin is so valuable. You people TOTALLY forget the Euro, which was backed by more economic powers than BRIC. Before it's launch in 1999 it was touted as the end of the dollar! Can you explain to us why it barely had any impact? Oil stopped being reason for dollar a long time ago. The opposite is now the case - Saudis now HAVE TO sell their oil in dollars. The dollar is no longer backed by petrodollars at all, it is instead backed by the fact it has been established as means of international trade and by stability and reliability of US govt. Ukraine and the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic are the most recent of challenges the dollar has faced, but human mentality and the way things are structured make it highly unlikely that the greenback will be replaced as the leading reserve currency in the world anytime soon.

It’s therefore stable and not volatile or subject to devaluation, arbitrary increase in interest rates etc, like dollar. Even bitcoin can be traded with BRICS currency as well. No probs Lol BRIC currency that exists in your imagination!😅 |
