Maybe if you separate Fulani from Hausa, the score will be higher. But so far there is no evidence that Fulani are smarter than other groups. They dominate Nigeria through tribal nepotism, in group trust, and endogamy.

There is nothing overwhelming about the evidence you think you have. It all depends on where you look. Being a typically modest and understated people, they are not one to blow their trumpets.
