There is no disputing the clear fact that the S/South are much more politically mature, astute and sophisticated than the S/East. They are more likely to get the next southern Presidency after SW.

I strongly doubt the authenticity of this news. Fakeness is written all over it. No one else is reporting this. Sounds like something straight out of an ipob blog. |
BUA. The industrial colossus, super-philanthropist and mega employer of labor. More grease sir. |
Fortune109:Your analogy is invalid & logic flawed because Israel doesn’t build terror tunnels under civilians like Hamas terrorists. |
Fortune109:You have no point sir. They use terror and soft targets to achieve political objectives. They are terrorists. |
Fortune109:That’s exactly why they’re terrorists. |
…because they use terror to achieve their political objectives. They’re the textbook definition of terrorists. Who else would fly paragliders with AK47’s to kill innocent civilian funseekers? Why not directly attack the IDF instead if they were a real military and not spineless cowards looking for soft targets? Hamas are soulless terrorists. |
Buccalcavity2:Dangote’s 650k barrels refers to his mega-refinery’s daily production capacity… …while Waltersmith is referring to liters produced since commencement of operations. Two different things. If you do your computations, you’d discover Waltersmith’s 5,000 barrels per day refinery can produce 850K liters of petroleum products daily (not just PMS) and therefore could have mathematically produced far above the reported 600 million liters since it started operations exactly 3 years ago. Interestingly, Dangote would be producing 103.3 million liters per day when fully operational, meaning he will produce in just 6 days, what Waltersmith’s modular refinery took 3 years to produce. |
MEEVEET:Congratulations to the visionary entrepreneurs behind this modular refinery. Kudos to the natives for being good hosts for this mutually beneficial investment.

From Nassarawa, Kano, Zamfara and now to Plateau State, where we are witnessing a situation in which what the ruling party missed out on Election Day are being delivered to them through the courts.Premium Clownery. But he and PitObi wanted the Tribunal and Supreme Court to deliver to them what they missed out on Election Day. Pathetic, pained, sore losers.

ariesbull:That’s because the baseless thread was woven by an insecure IPOB Igbo, trying in vain to project his fears and insecurities about the total political decline & irrelevance of the South East on the North and masking it as an illusionary “decline of the North”. The OP’s end game is to try to get into alliance with the North against Tinubu by making us feel victimized & marginalized , when he’s the real victim on a deep, steep socio-political decline. Laughable and Pathetic ![]() |
Penguin2:Very naive & myopic of you to think the North’s political strength lies in a few politicians that you’ve elevated to demi-gods in your imagination. What do you think our institutions like the Northern Elders Forum, the Sultanate, MACBAN and many other pressure groups exist for? Was it Atiku, Kwankwaso or El-Rufai that stopped Tinubu from his war bid on Nigér? Lol. I tried hard to resist responding to this tripe of a thread but alas, your comment… An Ibo man will not rule Nigeria until he learns to be civil, respectful and diplomatic in his dealings with other Nigerians. Don’t blame the North, rather, be sorry for yourself. |
Sad. For the purpose of clarity however, this is his old family house in Gobirawa. Julius Berger built him an sprawling edifice in a choice part of Sokoto (courtesy of Abacha) where he lived with many family members until he died a few years ago. The Fire Service can do better. Thank God no lives were lost. |
Emperor5:On what basis were you expecting Kogi to be more developed than Sokoto? Lol. Even when Kogi State was created (1991), Sokoto was already a built-up, modern city with dualized roads, traffic & street lights, parks & gardens, stadium, supermarkets, five star hotel, cinema, housing estates, good road network, university etc. Ask those who know about UTC, Domo Stores, Lodge Road & Govt House Parks, Giginya Stadium, Rima Squash, Polo Club, Giginya Five Star etc. It remains one of the oldest yet most modern & understated city capitals in the North and indeed, Nigeria. |
Christistruth03:Their hypocritical silence is deafening. 322 souls. Sickening. |
Kano setting the pace with building a robust birth & population database👏🏽 Without accurate data, it is difficult to plan and develop. Interventions in health, education, welfare etc. are more effective and impactful when backed by data-driven insights. Hoping other states emulate this stride. |
The APC candidate polled 540, 308 votes to defeat his closest rivals, PDP’s Anyanwu, who scored 71,503 votes and LP’s Achonu who got 64,081.From “supreme court governor” to Supreme Vote Governor. Congratulations Uzodinma. I hope your second tenure will be greater than the first, as you continue to wipe out ipob terrorists from your lovely state. Elupee 75! ![]()

omenka:It’s what IPOB has turned her into. The pre-2015 measured, objective & unsentimental Berem of yesteryears seems to be gone for good. Wonder what happened to Obiageli as well. |
jmoore:Indeed. You clearly were. Soludo’s candidate never stood a chance, like Obi. Smart Soludo never deluded himself about the fact. Unlike Obi. |
jmoore:Neither Soludo nor anyone ever asked Obi to support another party. Pay attention. He outlined the sheer stupidity of Obi’s candidacy and his certain defeat but was shouted down by the headless mob.
|
jmoore:Simply because he was smart enough to know doing anything else would earn him sanctions for anti-party activities. Still doesn’t change the fact that Soludo was bright enough to see and foretell Obi’s certain defeat, which some clueless clowns insulted and condemned him for. Soludo Solution.
|
The usual suspects. |
jmoore:Soludo warned Obi & Elupee of the futility of his candidacy but he was insulted and maligned. He knew Obi could never win but 0bidiots were too busy with Nzogbu-Nzogbu to listen and reason with him. I’m sure you admire Prof. C Soludo for his foresight.
|
All hail Gov. Soludo. The man who saw tomorrow.

A beautiful, balanced & factual submission from Farooq. The North is well represented in Tinubu’s government, and most of his southern appointments are justified, considering the North’s dominance of some key positions over the years and the fact that it’s a southern presidency. The rotation is good for national unity and the appointment of “minorities” to key positions is also commendable. |
successmatters:The wise counsel to shelve his initial plans to engage militarily. He listened to voices of reason to the disappointment of nzogbu nzogbu activists. |
Diplomacy is key. Kudos to President Tinubu for listening to voices of reason. |
Going to war with Niger is like Nigeria going to war with itself and the spill over would have been disastrous. I’m glad the President listened to the wise counsel of our Northern leaders whose broad diplomatic efforts yielded fruits. |
You have every reason to be proud of yourself sir. You took the container economist and his horde of zombidients to the cleaners both at the polls, the tribunal and the Supreme Court. A triple back-slam. I particularly appreciate you for not allowing IPOB enter Aso Rock through the back door. |
