Do the APC chieftains (Pa Akande, Tinubu et al.) have a right to their vote and a right to build political bridges with other regions (for logical gain) or not? Must everyone descend to ethnic chauvinism?
The PDP are only being logical with their choices, there are no winning votes in their strongholds (who by the way are busy building walls instead of bridges) unfortunately to the disappointment of closet and open bigots.
The ruling party on the other hand is clearly abiding with one of it's founding agreements (whether gentlemanly, implied or expressed) of power rotation between the North and South; which is also the popular desire of most Nigerians that also desire our continued co-existence.
Meanwhile you still haven't told us what you will do apart from maintaining your current status.
LegendHero: Lol which of the SS? Even Buhari got over like 35% in the SS with his abysmal performance and the SE votes can’t even be up to Oyo state own when the damage IPOB have done become evident in 2023.
Stop lumping SE and SS. They have their identity and you have yours as SE. Stop hiding under minority tribes like a coward!
Yes real Northerners and not Nairaland where anyone can masquerade as anything. Just frequent clubhouse room well and you will see that almost 95% of the Northerners speaking on political issue are pro-Tinubu. They don’t even rate Atiku.
Also go on Twitter and most of those Arewa feeds, you will see that they like Asiwaju so much sometimes even more than fellow Yorubas.
Lastly, I know election is about the common man off social media and Tinubu just need to use his comrades and long time allies in the North with the moneybag to effect changes.
When MKO was contesting against Tofa, people said more than this that the North won’t vote him and bla bla bla and yet he defeated Tofa in his home state of Kano and the North at large.
Base on what his colleagues told us, they said after dey had successfully killed the Bandit, this my friend saw a traces of blood and follow it to know where it's coming from.
Getting there, it was a wounded Bandit who hasn't die
. D Bandit opened fire on him killing him instantly bfre my friend colleagues rush to kill d Bandit finally.
id911: Sorry mate, by Nigerian law, the State Governor is a very powerful position and Sanwo-Olu is a far higher authority than the Sultan. Traditional rulers are answerable to the LG Chairmen not even the Governors. Forget the so-called class A or whatever, he expected a higher power to lie than and salute him? Realizing my position as a Governor, I'd never do that. Let other unlearned Governors bow but for this, I go with Sanwo-Olu because he knows his position.
You couldn't be more wrong.
The difference between the Sultan and other traditional rulers is that he is also a religious leader - the leader of Muslims nationwide. That is why the VP, Presidents and other top dignitaries accord the Sultan distinguished reverence.
Sanwo Olu should have been more circumspect and offered a real handshake like others instead of trying to fist bump with HRH the Sultan. An elbow shake like PMB does would have been even more acceptable and appropriate.
He should have realised that a class A royal father, the Sultan, would never "chop knuckle" with anyone, covid or not, as its totally alien to his culture, religion and standing as a first class Royal.
The Sultan shook the next person and others because they didn't try to chop knuckle with him like the bewildered governor.
Our gallant forces have been pounding the terrorists aka bandits to smithereens since Saturday especially around the Sokoto-Zamfara-Katsina axis.
There's one extremely graphic & gory video of a bandit leader captured alive in Sokoto going round the northern blogosphere but YouTube won't allow it. Can only post screenshots.
*Warning: Graphic photos.
More grease to your AK's as these terrorists are flushed out of the North West.
meobizy: Nairaland no send; them go post fake news then release the fact check later. They dare not try it where political news is involved because the Twitter example keeps that man awake at night.
onuman: I don’t need to ask anyone about what happened during the civil war. I witnessed the war from beginning to end.
Start another civil war against the Igbo today, in one year, you parasites in Nigeria must have been sent packing from wherever you now live in Nigeria. You think that falsely claiming you are Ijaw on NL is it. Ignoramus.
The circumstances that prevailed before and during the last civil war have changed.
What exactly?
A better beerfran military? New foreign allies? What?
Isn't it Nigeria that's been acquiring more allies, weapons & equipment suppliers while ipob have been kicking the UK, Kenya,"Ambazonia" etc? Lol.
This is mind blowing. You should create a thread for this video and mention the mods to take it to FP.
Where are the media houses? Mention them on your twitter handle. I'm sure Reuben Abati will make minced meat of this video tomorrow morning. Solid hard evidence that the sit at home "compliance" was nothing but mass fear of ipob terror, killings and intimidation. Well done and continue to expose those frustrated terrorists.
Cc: kindly embed this video in your fp comment. Cheers.
You cannot want a separate country and at the same time desire the leadership of the people you're trying to get away from. Mba.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo also tasked Igbo presidential aspirants to reach out to all political parties and geopolitical zones and build bridges of friendship and support ahead of the 2023 election.
Much better strategy. You will never get Presidency through cheap blackmail.
skywalker240: You're not making sense in all honesty, what you are saying is just like contemplating moving out of a burning house and still hoping water system and taps in the house are enough to put off the fire
No country on Earth is running the optimal way it is supposed to because that is an idealistic thought/concept. Yet everyone is not disintegrating but finding ways to fix their problems.
America with all it's successes and status as a democratic model, is still plagued with widespread & endemic racism, deadly gun violence, violent opposition to democratic rule etc.
