Firstly, Ngwakwe if you had also addressed me properly with respect, you would have received the same regard in turn, since you desire to be properly addressed considering your age and status as a former fired mod. Instead you heaped insults like the juvenile brainwashed ipob miscreants spewing invectives all over the place.
Back to topic. It matters little whether they are islamists or secessionists. That's just nomenclature. As long as the SE continues to support and defend ESN violence against the police & military, ignore their stockpiling of arms and excuse their growing extremism, there is no way the south east will not end up destroyed even worse than the NE. The vigilantes will simply be overwhelmed by the beast ESN would have become.
Back to the topic. You should stop being obsessed with your neighbours. Stop crying more than the bereaved. It's far above your level. I know and respect you hence will try to agree to disagree with you.
Igbos are not Islamists and there shouldn't be any comparison on what's obtainable here in the South East. Every Street and Community have their vigilantes and pay for their security. They know themselves and cannot be invaded easily.
How did you totally miss it? The answer was implied not expressed due to the absurdity of his question.
content208: He asked a simple question. Of it is in the north, can the government deploy soldiers to protect southerners like they are doing in the south?
Your backyard is on fire & ESN are holding the matches.
Insults will not bring back the innocent lives lost to ESN violence.
MadamExcellency: You mean the insecurity that exists only in your head. How many confirmed civilians of Igbo extraction have ESN killed? - 1, No it's Zero
Are there any IDPs or emergency shelter in the East - No
Where is the insecurity? It only exists in your quack brain.
What's happening is a fight between disgruntled elements and security forces. Civillians aren't part of it. Civillians are only victims when Nigerian Soldiers take their frustration upon innocent people
Yet the East has never been so insecure since the civil war.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
[quote author=Chigboboss post=101172146]ESN must be totally flushed out of the SE. They are already using fear to keep the mouths of the concerned indigenes shut. This wasn't part of the deal.
They were supposed to only fight killer Fulani herdsmen, not killing innocent igbos and burning down our land. We must reject ESN before they completely burn down everywhere.
Don’t mind those Efulefu disguising as Igbo on Twitter, Mazi Kanu is just burning the SE (Zoo) in the mean time. When he’s done he will rebuild everything to its glorious state.
christistruth01: IPOB and Kanu are busy on Self destruct mode
And too think they learnt nothing from the Calamity that befell the Last Biafra
They are a new generation that are begging to be reminded.
The only difference between Nnamdi Kanu and his cowardly predecessor 55 years ago, is while Kanu was smart enough to take off early before using remote to control his zombies to burn down the East, Ojukwu waited till after millions were killed and his arse was on fire before he fled to Ivory Coast in lipstick and women's clothes.
AsomughaChuks05: Can the fulani army defend Igbos in Sabon Gari, Kano from Hisbah and muslim fanatics this way they deployed the most sophisticated weaponry to defend hausa/fulani living in Ama-hausa Owerri? The bias of the Nigerian fulani army is so shameful.
So the Army should have stood aside and watched the innocent northerners slaughtered because they want to prove a point to brainwashed ipob zombies?
The handicap of your reasoning is even more shameful.
Philipponzaghi: Yorubas and other Southerners in the North should better start planning on how to relocate home now because things will definitely escalate in the North sooner.
When it happens, they won’t differentiate between Igbo, Yoruba, Ijaw, Benin, and etc.
Don’t let them use you to count scores.
Actually people are quite aware that it is ipob terrorists that are senselessly attacking northerners in the East.
If you must raise alarm, your warning would be more apt directing it to Easterners in the north.
Bkayyy: One thing about Fulani and Northern Nigerians is that they are very GREEDY. It is no news that SE Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers and now Rivers state is no longer within their reach going with the timeline of Unknown Gunmen activities. Instead of accepting it, cutting them out and focus on people that can't fight them.
NwaAro: Bring it on you head-slamming sahelian dwelling worshipper of a terrorist prophet, e don red for una, everybody now has a cure for you peoples unbridled madness.
Igbochief001: Lmao ... biafra war is something Igbos are proud of any day ...fought five nations and held our own even with betrayals and back stabbing ....we held our heads high
Made innovative ideas Nigeria can't match till date
But it was never an igbo war , this time no Egypt would help you , no british , no russia and no Saudi , it's Igbos vs fulanis
Entering igbo land for the fulanis is impossible you even know ... freeing ourselves from the only thing that links us Nigeria is the final step
Igbochief001: Biafra was never an igbo Nation ...igbo man never surrender never
Lol.
Ojukwu not only surrendered, he didn't have the nerves to face Gowon. He left his message for his 2ic to deliver and fled to ivory Coast dressed like a woman in lipstick. He later returned to Shagari's pardon, campaigned for him and later same Ojukwu ran for presidency (and failed) of the "Zoo" he once bombed.
Igbochief001: Biafra was never an igbo Nation ...igbo man never surrender never
You have killed all the middle belters who would help you fight , Yorubas don't trust you again , south south are wiser now ...it would be igbo vs fulani this time
Why don't you use your fake ESN charms to force hundreds of thousands of them out of the Army, Navy and Air-Forces? Stop spewing gibberish and be wise. SE is already burning.
Igbochief001: Ojuchkwu on listen to the ijaws and south south who pushed him to war then abandoned him ...Igbos were not really into biafra we fought because it was getting to us
You have never fought a war with igbos ...when we are done you fulanis would beg to keep sokoto alone
Keep quiet you were fought, defeated and most importantly, you surrendered.
AlexBells: Declare war on which country, I think your stupidity is overwhelming, that some displeased Nigerians are protesting violently after peaceful protesters were violently handled is that war to you, look this is not 1967, IPOB or ESN is not Biafra so who is at war, you mean Nigerian army stage a genocide against ndigbo or the Hausa, Fulani or Yorubas stage a genocide against ndigbo, grow up the terrain had changed, it is no longer Northern Region it is the Nigerian army, first there will be distrust if it gets to that level and I don't think Igbo army officers are given blank bullets, AlaIgbo is not even in one accord in 67 we were one aimed, today how can you fight us when our leaders are dancing to you and the sentiment on ground is different, this is confusion moden
Whether lizard, guerrilla or chimpanzee, taking up arms against the state by secessionists is pure treason and the act of forcefully, violently seeking to carve out Nigeria's territory is a declaration of war.
Don't worry. Nigeria has heard more noise and hubris from an Igbo man that later fled, only to return tail between legs seeking for pardon. Nothing new.
That in 1966 was a full scale war and not a guerrilla approach. Guerrilla approach confuses security personnel like hell. In 1966, Nigeria army was not stretched, they all focused on the east. The method and conditions are different.
This crises will enter southwest, you can send your mail so we can put our money on it. The best thing is for Buhari to swallow his pride.
Don't worry. Nigeria has heard more noise and hubris from an Igbo man that later fled, only to return tail between legs seeking for pardon. Nothing new.
Seems you think this army is United States Army Army that foolishly killed themselves in an air strike. Lol If the army is your hope then you are hopeless unless the government employs machineries.
Don't worry. Nigeria has seen more hubris and noise from an Igbo man that later fled, only to return tail between legs seeking for pardon. Nothing new.
Still I'll be here to remind you. This thread is for the record and just like in 1966, future igbo generations will be reminded that it was their tactless ancestors in 2021, just like Ojukwu, that declared war against the country when they want to start blaming Nigeria for another genocidal wipeout.
FatherOfJesus: You better seek peace and don’t be a foolish person.
If you think a war will start in the east especially a guerrilla type and won’t spread to the west then you are insane. If you don’t want it, tell Buhari to negotiate.
You fool yourself my friend
Nobody will negotiate with you weak terrorists. Stop dreaming. 5% seeking short cut out of the political wilderness they've found themselves thanks to tactless politicking
Your violence will be effectively contained in igboland and it will be Igbo lives and what's remaining of your eroded half piece of land that you will finally destroy in your senseless, blind and foolish bid to bomb the south east back to the stone age.
Better listen to your father's and apply sense before it's too late. Igboland is already in flames
FatherOfJesus: Unless probably the Nigerian Government seeks international support, it will be overwhelmed by the this issue. I don’t want to argue but I will tell you why.
The police and military combined are not more than 600,000 personnel, the military is also stretched in the north and their confusion is glaring. The military is obviously not as strong as we thought and no one is interested in joining them rn, not even you. The northern problem will not allow them concentrate perfectly on the east.
This fight will also spill first to South south and then later to southwest if it not contained and that will be disastrous. Nigeria is speedily approaching a failed state status.
selemempe: from which village in Bauchi are you typing this from, and can you type it without crying?
The only mistake we ever made was stopping the civil war in 1970.
Does typing from a village in Bauchi or Shoprite Mall in Kano change the fact that you lack the capacity, might, intellect, resources etc. to use violence to blackmail the FG? You will all be crushed like Ikusu and will only succeed in turning igbo land to Somalia.
Nobody will give you soft landing by declaring "no victor no vanquished" this time so be warned
amuwo1980: Says a quota system enabled fellow, you will need merit going forward and am sure u are so terrified of that
"Quota system products like me" are much brighter, smarter, intelligent, articulate, rational and well-rounded than the semi literate, grammatically challenged, intellectually bereft, tactless, irrational ipob school dropouts like Emma powertout that litter this forum.
Now that I've cleared your delusion, let it sink in that you lack the capacity, might, intellect, resources etc. to use violence to blackmail the FG. You will all be crushed like Ikusu and will only succeed in turning igbo land to Somalia.
NwaAro: Never compare the East and the North, we're unintelligent fanatical northern Eastern savages and islamists secessionists who just go about senselessly wiping out their own people just for the mere pleasure of it... we do not value life way more than that, there's a target and method to our madness.
Igbochief001: What's the economical benefits of this project for the people of sokoto
1. Elites in the state will be encouraged to buy electric cars and go for the much cheaper, cleaner and easily available electric option of fuel. Trust me there is no shortage of capable buyers in Sokoto contrary to what the internet wants you to believe.
2. It will encourage job creation as electric car technicians will become necessary, and allied industries for parts, components, maintenance etc. are bound to arise.
3. Less dependence on oil/subsidy etc.
4. More jobs for solar technicians and interest in electric car technology
4. Cleaner environment etc.
Beremx: By the time there are no cars to charge, people will be going there to charge phones.
Misplaced priorities
Actually you're wrong. The Hyndai Kona which is the first electric car is now assembled in Nigeria thanks to the DG's efforts is available to residents of the state and other Nigerians at a much more affordable rate than the popular TESLA electric car. The Hyundai Kona was introduced in the state 2 weeks ago and received a warm reception from state Govt officials, businessmen, politicians and other state residents.
At N24m, it is safe to say only the elites will initially be able to afford it, but like with most new technologies, prices are bound to fall with time.
Even in western advanced countries, fully electric cars (not hybrids) are still on the high side and still the preserve of the elites. This is a step in the right direction.
Igbochief001: This is the problem with nigeria ...I can bet my balls the DG is from sokoto
Why not lagos ? Abuja ? This is rubbish
Same mentality of building high speed rail to Niger with a GDP less than that of anambra or akwa ibom, port Harcourt or even lagos
You're wrong. Everything is not for wailing.
Read carefully.
QuotaSystem: “Today, we have inaugurated the first 100 per cent solar energy powered charging station in Nigeria. “The reason for choosing Sokoto for the pilot project is in consideration of the harsh weather. “However, such weather has become a blessing for us as we can extract and power our homes, offices and even for industrial consumption,” he said.
Aliyu further said that the NADDC was partnering with three universities in the country that included UDUS, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), with the hope of advancing research in renewable energy.
Cc: lalasticlala mynd44
Lagos & Enugu will be later beneficiaries of a similar project, though maybe not solar.
Sokoto was chosen as the pilot state due to the abundance of solar power due to the extreme weather. Afterall the biggest critics of electric cars in Nigeria ask " Where is the electricity"? Well Sokoto says it's in the Sun . You can even direct the guy with a TESLA that was featured on the FP yesterdat to Sokoto where he can enjoy his Electric ride without stress
Finally, what did the past southern DG's of NADDC do for themselves or you never asked?
Igbochief001: How many electric cars are in sokoto ?
