You're a dumb aboki. So you think if things fall apart in this country, mallams will still be allowed to operate in ports in the south.

Sense is so far from you aboki.
What are you gonna do? Storm the ports with Igboho and arrest the vessels with his charms? Stop Dangote from using his private jetty? Mount road blocks on the railways?

Get serious please and quit sounding like you're empty upstairs.

Drink your crude oil.

Our imported, refined petrol will land at our Apapa Port of course as usual. Nothing you can do about that.

Furthermore, there's a dry port in Kaduna being linked by rail all the way to Apapa to maximize efficiency and literally side track miscreants. (Yet you wonder why Buhari is building railways to the Zinder refinery in Niger as further backup).

Note that the importation is only until our Arewa owned mega - refinery, the largest single train oil refining facility in Earth, being built in Lagos alongside another northern owned one in Akwa Ibom start production to mint those crude billions, while some lazy, clueless southerners sit there doing nothing but shouting "awa oyel".

Jokes on you.

PoliticsRe: Any Retaliation From The South? by QuotaSystem: 1:16pm On Feb 26, 2021
tunjiajayi:
Retaliation?
The traders from the north are simply saying no trade I you cant guarantee our safety in the market place.
Note the words traders and market place.

The past skirmishes have shown that though they are traders, they would be attacked in place of their co-ethnic criminals.
This is wrong and needs to be addressed, simple.
A lot of southerners don't want to admit the glaring fact that it was wrong to repeatedly attack innocent traders for whatever grievances they had against the government or killer herdsmen.

Northern traders are and will never be equal to killer herdsmen and bandits, so any backlash for unjustifiably killing them, from Oyigbo to Ibadan should not be seen by southerners as being blackmailed for standing their ground/defending their land (that's emotional blackmail in itself), rather it should be seen as a survival strategy by the traders, who have now realised that there's no limit to the level of misdirected murderous anger, ignorance and extreme hatred for northerners in the mind of the typical bigot southern savage.

I also forgot that the name of the association is "cows and onions only merchant’s association", not Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria.

Not only that. The southwest governor(s) encouraged the attack in Shasha market.

Rather than ending the crisis, they use Amotekun to shoot at innocent traders. That on itself is a state sponsored terrorism.

Hence Amotekun has portrayed itself (in this case) as an ethnic militia and not a community police.
Several mistakes were made, and to be honest, anyone including myself would never tolerate being killed or forcefully ejected from my territory without some form of resistance. However, you're right about Amotekun abandoning their duties and true targets to callously start attacking innocent traders; it definitely gave the attack an ethnic colouration and was quite inciting, further fueling the crisis.

What anyone needs to do is take a panoramic view of the whole situation, one would discover that we're just being pawns on the chessboard of wicked, selfish politicians who are deliberately sponsoring & fueling the crisis for their political gain - either through chaos to frustrate the President or for their seccessionist/separatist agenda.

The only way to collectively win therefore is to forgive one another, agree to stop peddling divisive, hateful & derogatory narratives and instead give peace a chance, support a credible 2023 candidate that would consolidate on present gains and lead us towards the Nigeria of our dreams.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Top Northern Politicians Pushing For Southern President by QuotaSystem: 4:31pm On Feb 21, 2021
myobjective:
What hateful derogatory rhetoric?
How do you even want the Yorubas to react when communities upon communities are being attacked by Fulani bandits in Ondo, Oyo, Ogun, Kwara and Ekiti?

The people of the north-west suffering from the continuous attack of bandits may not look at it from the prism of ethnic attacks and a bid to take over their land from them since there the Fulanis are indigenous to that land but the Yorubas don't have such a relationship with the Fulanis.

Everyone knows that without the Fulani issues, the southwest would never have risen to hate or push negative rhetoric against the north but instead of smart people like you to dose the tension, you keep on escalating the whole thing by calling us names and playing politics with it.

Everyone knows that the Buhari gov't have been sympathetic to the Fulani criminals and terrorist against the interest of other Nigerians. He has used the instrument of States to protect them while playing dead to the yearning of other Nigerians.

People wouldn't just take it and assume that everything is okay, just because the interest of an Osinbanjo or Tinubu is on the line.

I will rather have peace, be able to farm and travelled around and have an Igbo president than the prospect of being kidnapped in my homeland and on the road with a Yoruba president.
With peace, understanding & mutual respect everybody wins.

But it is not in the interest of the politicians, especially the opposition, for peace to prevail. Therein lies the dilemma.

Hence they stoke tensions, people are rubbed the wrong way, emotions run high and they react - sometimes excessively.

To be honest, everyone is guilty for escalating the crisis because the amount of gloating and insensitivity when innocent northern traders were killed in Ibadan was highly inciting and blood curdling. I personally abstained from commenting on the herdsmen crisis for months because there was clearly a political angle to the issue, but the general reaction of the majority of southerners (particularly SW) to the Shasha incident put one on the defensive. It was an unfortunate incident and it is best we all bury the hatchet, put it behind us & forge ahead; shaming the wicked politicians in an altruistic effort to collectively create a brigher future for us all. Cheers.

Northern population is a mirage and if you know anything about demography studies you wouldn't explain it off with the simplistic excuse of polygamy.

A thorough analysis will look at available arable landmass, industries, child mortality rate, availability of surface water, migration pattern etc.

In my fieldwork, I have had the liberty to travel to many parts of the northwest and what I see is an endless barren wasteland with no one in it.
So 'simplistic' polygamy is not a factor in any population or demographic study?

This is the problem with pseudo-intellectuals.

If a southern president that knows how to play politics becomes the president, the easiest thing to do will be just to empower the middle belts and northeastern minorities.

Was it not Ike Ekweremadu? Was he a northerner? Lol. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a president to enjoy unanimous support from pugnacious, greedy southern lawmakers.

Northern lawmakers clearly outnumber southern ones therefore in a polarized NA like you stated, frustrating & impeaching an unco-operative Jona would be a piece of cake, especially after the usual greedy horse trading & you know it. There are dreams bro; then there is reality. Wake up.

You actually need the advice in your last paragraph more than me. The Hausa Fulani should beware of this open anti-South west posturing before they finally play themselves into an everlasting political wilderness. What do you bring to the table to warrant all the hubris?
What will the Yoruba lose for falling out with the core north when they can play a spoiler to win the middle belt and northeastern minorities to their side or better still when they can exit Nigeria?

The only people that need to be really worried are the Sahelian. The only people that will be cut out completely when the going gets tough. The only people that should be on their knees begging the rest of us. Forget about social media and go to the street and the real world. The level of distrust amongst Nigerians towards the core north is at an all-time high. From the minorities tribes of northeastern Nigeria to the middle belt, to south westerners, to south easterners.

Right now, the SS, the goose that lays the golden egg, are in pole position to clinch the Presidency with overwhelming northern support. You think with all his corruption baggage, massive loot & millions of skeletons in his cupboard deliberately overlooked by PMB & the northern hegemony, Jonathan can ever be independent-minded or anti-north?
