Jokes Etc › Ibori And Odili by r231(op): 2:39pm On Jul 21, 2010 |
As Pope John Paul II was dying; he sent for James Ibori and Peter Odili to come to the Vatican.
When they arrived, they were ushered to his bedroom. As they entered, the clergyman held out his hands and motioned them to sit on each side of the bed.
The Pope grasped their hands, sighed contentedly, smiled and stared at the ceiling.
For a time, no one said anything. Both Ibori and Odili were touched and flattered that the old Pope would ask them to be with him during his final moment.
They were also puzzled because the Pope never gave any indication that he liked either one of them, Finally, Ibori asked, "Fader, wettin for you de husk de two of huss to come eya for?"
The old Pope mustered up some strength & said weakly, "Jesus died between two thieves . . .I will like to die like him" |

Ileke-IdI: Is this the first of this kind you've heard?
Even a Nigerian priest is dirty. . . .
A Catholic priest accused of embezzling about $200,000 from two Crawford County parishes and the Diocese of La Crosse entered an Alford plea to reduced charges Wednesday.
https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-481048.0.html no its not but this happens a lot in 9ja as well most of those guys sitting 24hrs online at the cafe trying to scam pple as well including so called Govts even pple from 9ja try to scam me on diff occasions so going back to your statement earlier about thats how pple abroad make money would it be fair if i say the samething about Nigeria? (but i won't) cus regardless its my fatherland |

Ileke-IdI: It's a theoretical stat. Not too far from the truth, IMO. maybe the ones you guys knw just cus 33 nigerians abroad try to scam/scam pple authomatically means 80% of nigerians abroad do the same thing abi |

Ranoscky: @ileke-idi
i agree with u b'cos of the word "most" that u used on your 1st post comment! 20% of flygerians abroad make their money in a normal way while 80% of flygerians abroad wants to make fast money. all in the name of painting naija red when they arrive. no better job for abroad dat is why u see dem commiting all sorts of crime! where did you get the stats from pls if i may ask |
