The management of the NGX should meet with CBN to work out modalities for banks to meet NGX filing requirements as per regulation. Banks and all stakeholders obey CBN regulations strictly. CBN must also respect and comply with the regulations of other institutions, especially those of the NGX where banks go to for capital raising.

No. That's not what happened. In fact there were even two trades each over 1m units at 150. What happened was a cross trade of 200k that came in very late. They must have cost many people a lot of money, myself included.

Seriously, it has been very frustrasting. As in, i experience the same. No reply to mails, no picking of calls and the phone will be ringing and no one will pick it up.
If you try again instantly after your call, it will say user busy. And if you try again after the user busy, it will keep ringing without picking.
I have been thinking of alternative self.

I think the oil and gas sector has no regional bais. There are a good number of Northern companies in every sector of the value chain. In fact many of the downstream companies fighting Alhaji belong to Northerners. Those business owners will fight to save their businesses through fuel importation no matter who heads the government. Money is really all that matters to the Nigerian rich. They have left tribal and regional biases to us the poor to fight and occasionally kill ourselves over.

That's what you think. Wait till power rotates back to the north - you'll pay N1500 per litre. Imports will be banned. I never experienced such delay with withdrawals from Morgan before either. And for them to acknowledge my reminder and say they are processing my request and still the money doesn't come is kind of scary.

Please has anyone withdrawn funds from Morgan in the last few days? I requested to withdraw some funds since Friday using the Funds Withdrawal button in the iTrade website. I had to send a reminder email today. They acknowledged the mail and promised to process the request right away. Unfortunately I am yet to receive the money. I am sure it is not the T+2 days issues as I have available balance in my account far in excess of my request for several days.

Market seemed to have responded ro the news favorably though. I will keep holding my few units.

I like the way Otedola marketed FIRSTHOLDCO after the release of the seemingly bad results. It shows that maybe now Nigerian corporate leaders are taking the stock prices of their companies more seriously than before when they were only satisfied with just milking the companies to the bone.

It is because of expansion and acquiring more interest in oil fields. The upstream oil industry is highly capital intensive so once you expand it comes with huge investments and debt until you ramp up production and stabilize over the medium to long term.
