By taking the risk of asking, knowing she will tell nice try. If she feel that you are worth meeting again, she will give you the Number. But you are better off wasting your time giving her yours. Make sure you have a memorable conversation before you ask for the no. And please don't expect to get her no. She will tell you the next time you meet, start praying that you remember her face when next you see her, am sure she will remember yours. |
I have N1 note and a 50k note i have been keeping it since 1990 christmas. Will be showing it to my kids, Atleast that was what i said when I put aside in My JSS 1. |
These days we just fall in-love and fight every other day, as if that is why we are in the relationship in the first place. We forget the reason why we decided to fall in-love, or maybe we don't know why we fell in-love. I am alway thinking marriage when ever I want to start a relationship and that is why i have not been able to have a steady relationship, but it's my Zodiac(am taurean) sign that makes me that way. I have just finished looking through My Zodiac sign and confirmed the reason for all the break ups I have had. You check yours, this will help assess the common problems you have in your relationship, thus helping you avoid making too many mistakes or better still help you make informed decisions. http://www.deafmatchinternational.com/dmi-horo.htm |
Infact when a girl says she loves you. Find out what she loves about you, maybe it not really you, if you know what I mean. A girl say I love you 63 times a day to you, I don't think she is missing words. She knows what she is saying. Still trying to figure out why my girl was saying she loves me. ![]() |

Well Jamb, jamb. I have not seen the question papers in recent years but it an exam that differetiate the boys from the men. You get all the past question booklets on all the subject you are going to taking. And i will advice that you Test yourself. This will give you awareness of you level of knowldge and help you know how much preparation you need. So Pick a subject, time yourself and write the exam. At the end mark you paper and grade yourself. After the grade, check the subject you are better off at. During my day, my strength was Maths, physics, and chemistry I will alway score above 60% in maths, about 50% in physics, the same in Chemistry, My English was poor but i didn't mind. The Idea is to know your strength and concentrate on improving your weakness. At the end you need to be an all rounder to score above 200 in jamb but you have to aim high. Good luck man. Look for a good lesson in you area, look for serious friends too, |
The Government should invest in the Judicial system, Build High wall prisons with one way in. In my suggestion, One of the states should be converted into a prison and a 50,000,000 block room cells built with pure concert. More than half the Nigerian's population need to be in Jail for the country to find it's track. By the time we have law abiding citizens on the street of the Nation, then these areas I think will be of great benefit to the Nigerian citizens if they are improved or invested in. Remember people are not in power to make money for the country but to make sure that money generated through tax and other means are used to run the country effectively. 1, Shelter- The Government should build houses and not sell, because the Nigerians that need home can't even afford to pay their rent, so i will advice paying council tax, and should be monitored closely or someone goes to Jail. 2, Food,- The government should support farmers by providing funds at low interest rate, also machinery should be provide at local government level and all laws that makes a man not willing to farm own so much land which is left to fallow be amended. Thus he that want to farm should have access to land for lease for as long as he has strength 3, Education,- Money should be pumped into this area in other to retain the best brains in the field. High quality teacher/lecturers will imply high quality students/ quality workforce. 4, Health- Health is wealth, but we are sick because we don't eat healthy meals, free basic health care facilities will be provided for the mass. 5, Infrastructure- No doubt this will aid economic growth. Power, water supply, good road network etc 6, Finally- Setting up a vocation school in every community. Every youth will be empowered by this move. This I believe well make the country stable for further investment by the private sector. For now I will rather invest in Ghana than my country. |
Yes if money in the Bank is checked, some Nigerian Governors, ministers, director, police officers, local government chairmen, did i forget to mention senators and house of rep members will make the list. But the list is for investors, not those who take money to oversea banks. Well the number of billionaires is growing yearly, Am sure soon I should get my name somewhere around that list too. ![]() |
This has been my personal problem which I shared to find solution, as they said a problem shared is have solved. I have researched into this problem, and have come up with encouraging results. Since Rhod has not yet come back from seeing her Mum and thus has not brought back the much awaited solution to this problem, I got some new tips to improve my spelling and anyother person that is interested. 1, Write out the words you want to learn a book. 2, Make a flash card or flash cards, carry these words in your pocket and when ever you think you have forgotten the word the spelling bring it out and cross check. 3, look at the word cover the word, write the word out check if you wrote it correctly. 4 , There are words that have letters with silent pronunciation eg k in Knife, w in wright. So watch out for such words 5, Try breaking down the word into bits, eg ambulance = am- bu-lance, emergency = e- mer- gen- cy. 6, Know some root words, eg knowing how to spell agree means you will be able to spell (a) disagree (b) agreed Hope you find the information useful. ![]() |
Teacher, well don't put the heavy load on yourself, I taught as a Youth Corper, did it for free even though i was Paid N7,500 still i considered it a favor to the community i served. Students are all the same except the few who are in it because they know the value of education. Just take it easy with yourself as i said early. It sound like you are a lecturer, if so what i will advice is add fun to your teaching crack jokes to get the attention students for a while and then continue with your teaching or always tell them they are having a test after the class, it worked for me. One other way i thought was always asking questions in class especially to those not paying attention, i don't hesitate to send students out of my class. Anyway am not going to be teaching in a class for the Next 20 years, the only time i will teach now is in a seminar, if you pay the registration fee maybe £10,000 and don't want to pay attention I will have no problem with that. So man find your passion or look else where. |

Ynot, I like your style it's cool, one other things i do before exams is that i eat nothing or eat light, snacks (biscuits) When you are hungry you think faster, I know it works for me. I also take glucose, since it is the food of the brain. And all the times i have read into My exams i have preformed badly. My solution is have confidence, if you lack it you fail it is that simple. |
Sorry it took me a bit of a time to reply you. Your target market is okay, I think what you need is to get a good tailors or employ them, depending on how much you have to invest in the business. Am in the UK, now that is why i had to stop, but it is a field i still have much interest, giving the band on importation of cloths. In Lagos you can source for materials in Yaba, and Lagos island (mandalas) or for the best and unique of material, you have to travel down to ABA, you will be surprise with the kind of materials you will get there, Aba also has a lot of talented tailors who can bring you ideas to reality. Also u have to consider the class of people you want to be your customers before you produce so that they can be able to afford the cloths. Middle class will be okay for a start. If you have any specific question, questions you can ask me. I will try my best to answer in the best way i can. |
Nairaland is priceless, you can not put a value to it. It is a school of thought, ideas you can't find in a book, Over a thousand resourceful mind giving free solution to problems. Bringing the Nigeria Youths together, even when they are thousand miles away. How much do you think nairaland is worth now. ![]() I think it is still priceless. ![]() But a mans worth lies in himself, how he values himself. ![]() No one will value you higher than you think you are worth. |
Mamaput, This is working for me big time now, it is slowing down my reading. But am paying attention the spellings and in two days i have improved greatly. I was very good in maths not bragging I made a 2.1 in my Uni. But i think you can help your daughter improve her spelling just like am doing. There is no way one will escape writing and that is why i have decided to give this problem a fight. I still love maths, if i have to climb to the highest position in my career, i will have to write reports, do presentations. It is a fight that am going to conquer. And from me thumb-up to your lovely daughter. ![]() |
I have just got two, one from my regular job. the second from the interest paid on my savings account ![]() looking for the 3rd, |
chrisd you are hot, i share your view, women all over the work place, i being to wonder if the women population is more or are the men at home breast feeding and taking care of their kids. What are the men actually doing and where are they. |
A man's worth is what he is valued in the market. What his time worth. Someone earn £100 an hour another £4.50 Money, property all have value, but the man who in himself has valve is priceless and endless, this depends on his skills and knowledge. At the moment I can't afford to pay a registration fee of £300,000 for a golf club. I am working on improving myself so that i will have more value. I would wantt my time will be paid for in terms of free air flight to come and give advice. that is someone paying for my opinion. sure i will get there soon. |
Consultant, You are a real Consultant, your advice worked, guess I have been wasting my time thinking about my problem and not working to improve it, your advice was 1 word a day, i learned 5 in three minute, my method, am reading a book now, when i get to a word am sure i can't spell, i pause and learn the spelling before i continue, specially for words I use often. You Guys have been great. I plan to learn spelling of 10 words everyday. in one week I should be confident with a library of 70 new words spelt with confidence. ![]() |
She is in Nigeria, am here. i do not seen her, but i feel things are wrong. she just sent me a text saying she is missing me. But i don't believe her. i don't want to hurt her, don't know if she will be hurt. I just want to give her time to break the relationship herself. I have bad history in breaking up. |
Eastcoast well that lives me going to Nigeria to play with IBB, or traveling to Ibadan, Did you play Golf? |
Rhodalyn I will thank you again. I just feel that I should improve myself. So that I can write more effectively. You won't understand what I mean anyway. But i will wait for your mum's advice. |
Rhodalyn it is not that bad, am a graduate. And I wrote my exams by myself and i graduated once if you know what i mean. I just want to be more effective with my spelling ![]() |
If A Bank Will Give You Enough Capital What Business Will You Start If i could get enough capital, i will start up a construction company. I will build and sell houses. Of course i will also build some to rent out. I love to build, i personally supervised the construction of my fathers house. It was great funny, I was 20 at the time. I still have it as a dream, am sure it will come through some day. ![]() What will you like to set up if you were given the money to do it. |
I have never been to a Golf course before, but it is a game i enjoy seeing in movies, and on TV. I will like to play golf someday, i think it is classy and for the big boys. The book am reading now How to Get Rich by Donald Trump who has some Golf Course in America, said it cost $300,000 to register in one of his Golf course. Do you think an Ordinary boy like me will ever play Golf. And any idea how much it will cost to register in Nigeria to play golf. Don't mind flying all the way. |
Well money is not spent on training staff, and the Universities are not giving graduates challenges in school. I don't think Nigerian's Human Resources Strategic enough. Their no training and no emphasis on customer service. Hope my answer inspires |
nferyn thanks for your advice, during my research i came across that word dyslexia for the first time. i have had the promble since my childhood. I remember my father shouting at me when i was 10 years old i went to the same school with my younger sister and she spelt things better than me. At the end I used maths to make up for my lapse. Mean while how do i know if am dyslectic. |
