What is happening to the victims of the riot have you asked? My best friend during the NYSC, was a business trip to Maiduguri, a hell was beaten out of the guy and he is stranded at the moment, and his friend he was putting up with was killed. Until you are in a Mans shoes, you can not predict your reaction. I will not justify the reaction of my "Igbo" brotheres, but under justice we will plea diminished responsibility. The Federal Gov is always quick to stop protest on Fuel increase and other form of protest, saying it might turn into a riot but when people gather in the mosque to decide the faith of lawful citizens nothing is done about it. See the kind of hatred that the Igbo man has to live with. The peace loving Igbo trader, that loves to travel to every corner of Nigeria believing he is a Nigerian. They buy land in every state and build there because they believe the are part of the society contributing to the development of these communites they live in. I wonder how many people from North, west and the south south have there own houses in the eastern states. Am yet to see anyway. The Igbo man has made Gold out of nothing, think of the average way the Igbo man has invented money. Most of there millionaire are first generation millionarie, the Igbo Man has "a right to be protected" or "has a right to protect his self, his family, his investment, and his identity" against any form of hostility, tribalism. |
Am glad that a warning has been sent out to the Muslims, It is their choice to make now, if they say they are peaceful then they will have to fish out those that have being causing mayhem in the name of their religion or face the music when such an event occurs again. Christian's should read more of the old testament now. And find power in the word of God. In the days of old we were violent too. And with the power of the God of Israel we will go places. |
I have always enjoyed discussions. Nigeria Land has giving me the opportunity to see things from other peoples eyes. I believe that one day the opinions in the forum will improve the situations back home. And when am confused i know where to share my problem. ![]() N A I R A L A N D |
when was the first time you guys fell in Love. Mine was in JSS 1, long time ago. lost contact with the chic who at that time happen to be in primary 4. It was a childish relationship. But that we were in love, i could look at her i tell her what she was thinking it was just like the one in "GET RICH OR DIE TRYING". This happen in 1990, in Enugu, with new states created we had to relocate to Anambra. I have not seen her since then. We kept writing letters, till 1997 when she finish secondary school. With her leaving school i couldn't tell where she was, what she was doing, no GSM, e-mail wasn't popular then. I always thought I will find her and our love come back to life. Did I find her, yes I did, were, on the internet 2 months ago. She is all grown up now, with a good profile. I was happy when i final was able to track her down but I wish i didn't. Now the search for Miss right is making me turn into a heart breaker. But what will i do, better a broken relationship than a broken marriage. I don't know what My first love holds for me, I just want someone that i can tolerate her short comings. someone i can laugh at her mistakes instead of getting angry. Someone that can be her self and i will be happy her being herself. No forming. That for me my miss right . ![]() |
The Nigerian Government is irresponsible, The SSS and of course the NPF (Police) is a failure, They could not uncover a plot to kill innocent people. I think we need a Christian Army, to protect us. I will volunteer to join this Army. I think it is time we preach Fight Back. |
I wipe, I wipe. Ralax u upset me. Have you ever lost someone you know for no reason. Where do you draw the line. You dey lag atleast the killing is not far from you, this is not bad prayer, but i think you need a taste of agony. The Nigerians paying with there life have not disrespected the Muslims in anyway. This cartoon was published in Denmark for Christ sake. The Nigerian Christians have not as individuals or a group, suggested, participated or financed this cartoon publication. The Muslims have constantly posed for war, at any little thing, they use Christians for ritual. Enough is a Enough. All Church and Mosques should be closed down. Everybody should worship God in their houses. |
I don't have time to waste with the wrong chic, if I know that she is not the one then I will be lying to her if we are still in a relationship, I have had a lot of relationships and the longest lasted 4 months. The moment i discover that I can't marry you girl it is over. I am looking for my wife to date, no need wasting time with the wrong girl, Imagine if my wife just crossed my path looked my way and says he is engaged just because am with another chic. |
In my opinion i think the same way we feel about them back home, Forgotten you are the newest thing in town. You are the Foreigner here. you are the rare species. Who will notice a girl with a w..te boy. YOu have got value here men. ![]() hope this answers it |
All the wise men in the house have said it all, I LOVE MY Parents. One thing I know is that they gave birth to us and all the time they watched grow and they wonder, WHY IS THIS KID NOT PERFECT. They see the things that we do and they get disgusted, it is like you watching a kid doing the wrong thing, while the young chap thinks his right. |
I thought it was a joke Tell me you are joking. Post code for Nigeria. you are funny. ![]() |
Well don't forget the point, We all have a chance to make history. I don't know the way you are looking at Nigeria or rather Nigerian's. The situation is bad, yes i agree. But the biggest problem in Nigeria is Nigerians are hungry. This is our country if you decide to live in the US or the UK, or where ever you are for the rest of your life, your children will want to know where they come from some day. Don't forget, God didn't create these countries that way. Men and Women with passion made impart in there nation when it mattered the most. I think this topic is a master piece, and the Guy that introduced it has done something that should puzzle minds. We have to rebuild Nigeria, as for me am in the UK to learn. People like us from other nationalities are in Nigeria making their money and so can we. We have got the work force, the population. Nigerians only need to be empowered. Some how the power is been taken from the Government at the moment and believe me it is a matter of time, 20 years from now there will be improvements. Am happy they are selling everything. Some day these ventures will need to start making money, and that is when the change will start. Look at PH for example, Calabar, these places are changing even some parts of Lagos. Am out here to gain knowledge and make money, have a good life yes far better than what i will get in Nigeria. But am going back. I won't let Nigeria go down, I will make my own impart some how. Still trying to figure out how. Nigeria is not poor, or the poorest country, Nigerian's could be the poorest, we have got enough Oil, too much gas, this is the same thing that is sustaining countries like Russia, Saudi, and many of the Middle East countries. I don't know how much you pay for Gas but my last bill was crazy. In Nigeria Gas is flared. This is cash in flames. Hope am still making sense. I LOVE Nigeria and there is no place like home, and it has the potential of being the capital of Africa. Wish My dream comes through, then I will have many of you running back to see the transformation hopefully. For those who have passion for My country NIGERIA don't let it die. |
![]() this is it. Nigeria 1 - Senegal 0 well it's over, we are 3rd best in Africa Again. |
I believe that we have what it takes to win the trophy, The boys know what is at stake, and I know they will give their best. Lets just watch anyway. ![]() |
if this idea comes to birth it will be the best of both worlds "like R. Kelly and Jay-Z" in the US = Ruggedman and Tuface for Najia. ![]() |
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BECOME CISCO NETPRO through online training I am in the UK, just came in actually from Nigeria. I was looking for work through advert placements on the paper and came across this www.skills-train.co.uk.(check it out), I registered on-line on my interest and in a week I got a phone call and the next thing thisyoung chap, cool guy comes to my house, tell me about the options, he adviced that I go for the CISCONETPRO because I studied Mathematics. To be honest the only thing I can do with my laptop is browse, type, draw a little basically not too much. The package looks good though, promises of getting me a job once I get certified. The programme he mentioned, will start with a foundation in CompTIA N+ certification programme then CCNA, CCNP and all training is done on-line, one practical session every 2 months. I was informed I don't need to go for the practicals. Then I will be assigned to a Phone tutour. My problem is I have never had on-line training before, and I don't know how I am going to cope with it. Then I have to sign a contract, this means no going back if I don't like what I get this will cost £70 each month for 34 months. I need some expert advice on this issue. |
And when am confused i know where to share my problem.
