What most people don't understand is that isreal is not trying to bomb Iranian residential areas or target the Iranian people as Iran does, if it was so then the death toll in Iran would have been in the thousands, Israel's aim is to dismantle Iran's nuclear weapons at all cost, they targeted scientists, some military targets.

Islamic clerics in Sokoto State have lauded the leadership qualities of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, urging Nigerians to support his presidential ambition.

A cross-section of those who spoke in interviews on Monday described Mr Osinbajo as a healthy and dedicated Nigerian who believed in the country’s unity.

“Nigeria needs an experienced, honest and dedicated leader with signs of good health that will allow him to face the challenges,” Abdulmalik Bello-Gado, the deputy Imam of Gagi community Mosque, said.

Another cleric, Sheikh Bilal Jabir-Elkanawy, called on Nigerians to ensure that they vote for the most credible candidates in the 2023 poll.

“Selling votes to the highest bidder or moneybags is dangerous, and it is against Islam.

“Nigerians need to choose a credible candidate if political parties fail to choose credible candidates from the primaries for the masses to make their choices during the general elections in 2023,” he said.

The cleric added, “Osinbajo is a leader whose excellence in academics covers most disciplines. This is a need for development.

” His experience in understanding Nigeria’s challenges and how to nip them in the bud for a unified country is a great asset to Nigeria.

“I wish to advise delegates at the APC primaries to shine their eyes and not to vote the wrong aspirants for monetary gains,” he said.

Aminu Bello-Zawiyya also advised Nigerians to consider capability in voting for candidates in the 2023 general elections.

Let's take for instance, you have a boss that you are an assistant to, he is the one in charge, he makes all the decisions of the organisation. You as an assistant has no say but all you can do is to advise which he can choose to do or not, in this scenerio, there is nothing you can do to change the organisation as an assistant, there are some policies and advice that we all know are the brainchild of Osibanjo, which are the trader money, anchor borrowers programme and others but the major policies that should drive this country forward, Buhari doesn't take Osibanjo's advice on that, He is the president and he has the final say. Whatever that goes wrong in this country should be on him. You will never see Americans put the blame or failure of the Obama administration on Joe Biden. It's only in Nigeria where people put the blame of a president on his vice. Individuals are different and it's only when you put good people in charge, that's when you truly see their impact not as a vice where he will only represent the president in events.

As for Osibanjo supporting some of the government policies, you will agree with me that some of this government policies are good and there is nothing wrong if Osibanjo supports those policies.

Everything that Nigeria is experiencing now is the handwork of Buhari, he is the policy maker and executor, everything stops at his table and not Osibanjo. Yes Buhari has not moved this country forward since 2015 and it's all on Buhari. Osibanjo can only advise, Buhari is the decision maker. Osibanjo is not responsible for the bad policies of Buhari. When Buhari was leaving his members of his cabal to assault the judiciary, it was Osibanjo that halted it and he paid dearly for it.

Like I said, Osibanjo is not the president, he can't show off achievement as such but the little time he was in charge of this country, he was able to achieve a lot in the space of one month. We all can see the improvement in our economy when Osibanjo was the acting president. All these achievements made the presidency to tame him and we Nigerians sees this.
