You should get a response in about a month. Apply at the studentwerk for accommodation in order to be on the waiting list. What was your evaluation?

If he has NPC birth certificate, then he can use it, if otherwise, he can use Declaration of Age. There wasn't any condition stated for providing Declaration of Age, which makes it sufficient.

Congratulations. I also applied to same school but insect biotechnology and bioresources. I applied through uniassist. Got a notification on the 3rd of May that they have forwarded to the school. Please how long did your application stay before you got admission?

From forwarding to admission notification was approximately a month.

Praise God. Got admitted to JLU Giessen for Agrobiotech. Bio/Bioscience ppl with fine grades still on application phase give a shot.


For the visa requirement - NPC birth cert or Declaration of age by head of family, will only "Declaration of Age" be sufficient?

That's what I read also. English and German skills are needed. The latter might not be for lectures, but for admission and integration.

I didn’t submit my documents rather I was asked to print the application form, sign it and upload it for them. I even mailed them to be sure am not sending any hard copy to them and they replied NO. My application status pic is this

I Saw this program earlier but the language requirement deterred me.

Some schools don't have their modules on their web page. Do a google search. Name of course+ school name+ course modules. Something should come up.

What course are you going for? You can check out university of Bonn, d deadline is March 31st, you can also check Uni Regensburg, Bremen and Kaiserslautern, their deadline is still far, April 30th. I don't know where you are now but I used nipost to send my documents to Regensburg and Kaiserslautern and it took EXACTLY 2weeks to get there. (just as d nipost lady promised me). I'm currently in Enugu and I can vouch for nipost in Enugu, warri and Abraka.

Have you been offered admission at Kaiserslautern after paying the processing fee?

Or one has to wait for admission till after application deadline.

So i went to confirm the price for Nipost.. The dude said about 3k - 5k and it could take forever to get there. Over a month.

There's also EMS whch is 8,820 as at today and would increase to about 10k from April 2nd. It takes 5 working days for the document to get to its destination.

But i don't trust this post office guys.. They'll say 5 working days now.. Before u ulknw it.. Its 10 yrs.

I'm just saying this so you could choose your options carefully.. Not everyone has money for DHL.

An alternative is UPS which is cheaper than DHL and also efficient. Takes 3 days to deliver.

My dashboard was updated "ok" for formal requirements, but it doesn't mean that's automatic admission. It only means the required documents have been rightly uploaded. I got a mail saying 2 modules were not on my transcript, therefore no admission.

I was filling the uniassist portal and saw that Application form is to be uploaded. I have checked the JLU Agrobiotech page and didn't see any application form to be filled. Am I missing something or no application form is required to be uploaded?

@UncleJudax Good day sir. I'm a prospective applicant at JLU Giessen for Agrobiotech. When does application start cos I've been trying to register on uniassist but it says application for winter has not yet started.
In addition, since I'm going for Msc, do I need my high school certificate/waec result for application cos I saw it as a requirement on JLU page.

Yes and that's why I'm a bit calm. Although I should be able to view my funds. As it is right now, I can't even withdraw or increase my investment.
