Mugiwaraluffy: My point has always been "serving in military should be a selfless service" not for the money, but passion for the job. Yes as time progresses with rank, you'll see money but you can never be anywhere rich like those into business or private sector. Unless you want to steal the whole budget annually . Nah that passion make me dy jobless for the time been... Lost my banking job cos I went against my BM to attend last year selection board, they no just understand why person go want leaving AC go dy under sun... Last last this passion is like addiction |

What are we now saying... It's high time we started considering some of the lapses in our country.. But i believe if an individual wo is originally from Adamawa state and he/she has lived all of his/her life in Rivers state, if the individual applies for the NA with legit rivers state of origin certificate, it wouldn't be an issue... I could be wrong though.. See nah Nigerian we be, no matter how we claim to be patriotic and our brothers keeper you thinks say the guys from Rivers wey there names no comot go feel aright knowing that one aboki from the north come chop there slot? |

Joshater: Maybe the said individual faked the state/Local government of origin certificate... I doubt if changing state of origin can be an issue.. People change their states of origin for a lot of reasons.. Its an issue... If not why the need shortlisting state by state... |

sikowitz17: Lemme just say this here so some of you can learn.. I served in Ekiti for nysc and in one very thick bushy part of the state.. there was this lookalike garboon viper that was terrorizing is in the lodge and the snake would sneak into our rooms at night to do whatever.. it would go to the girls part of the flat and the female Corper’s would come over to crash at our place... we eventually trapped it one day and I was fixed on killing it.. but the female Corpers and some guys were insisting that it hadn’t hurt anybody so we should release it far from the house... I told them clearly that this snake is dangerous but na lie.. they had some of our village students take it away some kms from the house... in about 3 weeks we heard that a snake bit and killed one of my favorite students in class.. only to rush there and see the same snake killed and lying down on the floor.. I leave this story here so you can pick which part better suits you.
Oh and till today I still hold them responsible for the death of that girl cos we could have clearly averted it And somebody somewhere now go say nah destiny, nah the girl time to go |
