Politics / Ogun State Is Living Up To Its Name by Ramnon2: 12:18pm On Jun 18, 2015
Ogun means medicine in English, but in practical terms it means voodoo, juju or native medicine. It is therefore not surprising that 50% of all the juju, human ritualism and cannibalism in Nigeria is from Ogun State alone. This is followed by Oyo, Osun, Lagos, Kwara, other states, in that order.

I sat today thinking about Nigeria and this fact came upon me. It hit me like ice water: the fact that the North will for the first time (at least in a democratic setting) COMPLETELY decide the fate of Nigeria for the next 4 years, and quite possibly, 8 years.

What an irretrievable dullard...

Gosh you are DULL. Since when did regions become the basis of Nigeria's administrative structure? The zoning principle which you want applied is based on 6 regions right?

Olodo.

Based on North versus South. That is the first tier of zoning formula

keep quiet, you don't know anything about politics. If there are yoruba senator and reps will they make themselves senate president and speaker? Isn't this same SE that will support them to be against the dominant north. Since SE has chosen to play the spoiler let things remain as it is

The point is why can the North not support the SW to be SP or speaker? You helped them get the presidency but they could not help you secure your own desire.

Politics / There Is No Real Substance To The Fabled Fulani Myth by Ramnon2: 12:58pm On Jun 16, 2015
Tofa (Fulani) lost to Abiola
Buhari (Fulani) lost to Obj
Buhari again lost to GEJ (as "clueless" as he was said to be) before his persistence paid off this last time.

These losses indicate that Fulanis are not politically invincible.

The SE, SS and SW need to come together, otherwise they risk letting their collective and individual destinies be truncated forever by the real clueless ones: so called northern oligarchy. I am still not able to understand why Tinubu would support a stark illiterate that Buhari is. Now he is being handed the short end of the stick. Plus, why must it be Fulani all the time?

You wished they were, it will take Tinubu 10 mins to undo Buhari in public.

This might be true, but Tinubu does not have the guts to do so because his own flank is exposed with his crass corruption

Jonah Otunla was not fired. He retired from service after clocking the stipulated age of retirement from service and the most senior director in the office was appropriately appointed to act till a substantive Accountant General is appointed. The fact that he will retire on June 12 is public knowledge among federal civil servant especially, staffs of the office of the Accountant General. You ethnic bigots really need to stop this nonsense.

You are a cheap liar. He was fired

There are just too many thieves in govt. Given that a particular section of the country is in love with govt office employment, it follows that most of these thieves will come from that section. Last week's case were some CBN thieves, all from same section, now this.

Fire a thieving SWner and replace them with another insider who by all likelihood is also corrupt.

BTW, should the man just be fired and not also be prosecuted? This kind of anticorruption fight sef.
