So found this info about school fee payment on some other thread and thought I should share.

Just my input on the best way to do form A. I waited this long to share this info because i wanted to try it first. I got all my form A payment within a week of applying. Though it was deducted in 3 tranches.

Sorry i cannot help with anybody's contact i just want to pass the info across but it is left to you to explore and utilize.

The answer to form A is Zenith Bank + Zenith staff + Abuja branch. What i mean by this is that Zenith give preference to her staffs when it comes to form A. And CBN gives preference to Zenith when it comes to forex.

So if you want your form A fixed with a week to two weeks:

1. Look for an Abuja branch Zenith bank staff
2. Fund his/her official account with the naira value of your tuition
3. Raise the payment invoice in his/her name
4. Send the invoice with your international passport and certificate
5. Then wait.

It took mine 8days when i went through this process, if you apply as a normal customer it will not might, it will take you upto 6months.

This is Nigeria, we always know someone that will know someone that works in Zenith that knows a colleague that works in Abuja. But i cannot help with that somebody.

Note. They might not want to come out straight to you.
But because lots of people has been selfless on the thread i decided to put in my widows mite too.

Believe me i got a very good exchange rate, infact lower than interbank rate.

I actually don't know how doing this would help as a banker. Please doing this only put your money at risk coz branch staff doesn't have anything to do when it comes to upper hand in securing fx, this is basically a function of treasury/trade.

It is required after ITA. You are to submit it as part of the documents to be submitted to get your PR Visa. Fixed deposit may be better to show as pof as they hardly question its source unlike having a transactional account which you may possibly pay the lump sum into an they will query where it came from vis a vis sometimes checking your payslip to determine if you really have the source to have accrued such amount.

@ JesusDWay

Please as regards using fixed deposit, would they verify

or ask for how long the fund had been fixed before ITA

and how the fund accrued up to the fixed amount from

my personal account (primary source) before it was

fixed?

I.e. is it a problem if I fix the fund on Monday n I get ITA

say by July n submit the fixed deposit certificate as my

POF by same July .?

Do I have to explain how that amount added up in my

personal account before fixing it or just the certificate is

enough proof?

Thanks as I await your response.

Ideas and opinions are much welcome from other

people in the house.

God bless us all .

I have read through this thread and I must say that is
really helpful but I still have some questions to ask.
My intention is to apply for permanent visa to Canada
but with all have read I think Tourist Visa is the easiest. If
I apply for Tourist Visa and they grant it, what is the next
process to take for me to get the permanent visa.
I work with a financial institution here in Nigeria.

Why don't you just apply via Canada FSW? That's actually the best way.

Thanks a lot bro for your answer
He pledge to sponsor me with 4M in the first year and 4 More in the second year. I have 4M too in form of treasury bill that will mature august. The program cost is 19k cdn per year

If I'm to be in your shoe trust me I will be opting for another co-sponsor. The reason is simple. From what you said he would be contributing N4m this year and N4m next year. From the statement we can deduce that N4m for this year is sure but the one for next is still doubtful since he would not be pledging the whole N8m presently in his account now for you (though the account history can tell them how buoyant he is) but that's a serious red flag.
Another way out is you might want to delay your application for prob 2months so that your sponsor could build his account to say around N18m. Trust me I can guarantee you on this.

HELLO good people of nairaland and my fellow trv aspirants

pls if my sponsor have good inflow and outflow but towards my visa application time his balance is extremely low say 200k and he added about 8M few days to my application will it still be termed money lodgement.? even do such amount of money even bigger have been countlestly been deposited in that same account( more than 7 times with the six month period)

Answers to your question will depend on a lot of factors. Your school fees, the level of sponsorship (either part or full), your share of the funding (in terms of your SOA and assets) , your relationship with the sponsor.

Summary: It might be suspicious to say for instance when the program will cost you N6m and just towards your application it was only this 6 or N7m that came into his account. One will also be suprised that this sponsor who prob is not your dad to just give you the whole N6m out of N7m that he has as at that time.

My advice is you should get a co-co-sponsor in order to make a strong case....my opinion tho.

I hahail you boss. Pls I would be applying for my study permit soon. My aunty has decided to transfer N6m to my account for the programme and I will also be using another uncle as co-sponsor. So my question is do I still need my aunt's bank statement (with much available balance ) or just an explanation in my sop?
If no, pls what are the documents I will need from her?

Thank you .

The visa refusal rate for Humber college is high from what I saw on this thread. Maybe is because is a community college or better Reason know to the VO

Thank you so much bro.........I have actually been trying to get an idea of what the refusal/approval rate history for Humber college looks like. This information is very useful. Do you have the same idea for University of Northern British Columbia ?

It's a good idea but it may surprise you to know that to even get a Masters now can be difficult even with a 2.1. Your 2.1 has to be strong between the ranges of 4.0 and above. And I am talking from experience. Other things count too like the ability to secure a supervisor and relevant years of work experience.

Yeah. ..I can also testify to that coz l have been searching for a while now before l decided to probably go with Humber.
In terms of experience, I abt 3years banking experience that can be related to that course (Global Business Management ). But my only concerns is only if me going to Humber college won't be an issue. I don't know how the embassy sees Humber College as a school especially their graduate certificate programs and also don't know if anyone in my similar profile has ever obtained trv vivia Humber College.

Please your contribution will also be highly appreciated.
