1. As for ELV everything is cool.
2 we are finishing the training by 26th of march, 2009.
3. You are a staff right from the day you are given your employment letter.i.e the day you resume the training. it is basically staff in trainig.BUT there is certain level of performance you must maintain during the training for you to stay continously in the programme till the end b/4 you are posted to ur department.
4 FOR MY SET WE ARE 95, (12 GEOLOGIST, 81 ENGINEER and 1 MATHEMATICS , 1 PHYSICS). we all do the same courses in the phase one of the programme. in the phase two we are separated to engineer and geologist. the physics and maths are in engineering class in the phase two. so phase two is diff. couse for the two group.
5 . As for the take home just wait until you get your OFFER LETTER you will see it there.

I cant realy tell about that now, may be you call the contact no. in your I.V.,
for others you have 3-sections, one is group discussion( please no hot argument, drive ur point home with facts). TWO you will be given papers which contains several memos which you will be given about 1or2hrs to red( here u are expected to take decission as a manager base on the memos u recievd). they will call u to a panel of 2or 3 to answer application questions based on the memos. think well befor you say anything. THREE. the technical section is your project defence.please IF you read engineering make sure you understand your design very well, the oprating principle of the machine, why you used certain materials in preference to others, what are the improvement to your m/c if you are given the chance to re produce it again?. know the operations very well( BOTH PRACTICAL AND THEORY) .PLS know this is practical work not theory, u want to get a job where you can use you ideas to solve pratical problems, so know what to say. what motivate you to carry out that project?.
. Again it is not too diff'icult to pass. you can use any other project that you have done.
ALL WHAT HAVE SAID IS BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, SOME ONE ELSE MAY HAVE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE,SO IT IS NOT TIED TO WHAT I HAVE SAID, IT MAY CHANGE I DONT KNOW.

it has being along time. hello 2 u all. the lectures at ELV is realy intensive, we hardly have time for ourselves,.the time now is 8:35pm,more than half of the trainees our in tutoria class now, including myself. iam sending this right inside the class, that is to tell u how thee whole thing is going. once in w whileu will see our response.keep ur faith alive, GOD IS TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL.

IT has being a lot of paper works, signing documents, e.t.c. all the same its aplace to be. we at ELV re yet to realy identify ourselves, but i do hope with time we will know each other. for those still waiting to be employed pls, keep ur faith in God, there is nothing God cant do. just start see ur self in that plac u want to be . what u think is what u get. Robbielex, u have touch so many life, put smiles on peoples face,i recall days in the past when i get confuse, this thread was a remendy 2 me after reading, it always brings my hope back.God cant forget u , even if that is the only good thing u have ever done in life. the same apply to all shell hopeful,keep ur faith alive.

This house must not fall. to all shell hopeful there is still time for u. ONE HOUR IS TOO MUCH FOR GOD TO DO IT FOR U, EVEN IF THE PROCESS IS ENDING SOON , GOD HAVE NOT FINISH WITH U YET.

HOW is the preperation to start?. pls does any one know what we should take along whe going?. i.e items to carry apart from cloths and toiletries? . i will realy appriciate if any one can help me out here

Onavae, God know the best, it maight not be ur time yet, but i will advise u, to try and put in next time cos there was a lady, we did medicals together, she said this was her third time of putting in for sitp, and G od, bless her this time she got the job. so pesistence pay most time. God can be wrong.

Glory to GOD. I got my employment offer mail from shell , on monday,for sitp 1, we are to resume on april 1 ist. for those still expecting mails for medicals keep ur faith alive, the medicals is still on, mails are still coming, while for those who are through with the medicals keeep cheecking ur mail box every day. GOD will do it for all, he is not a respecter of person.

KDB, pls what did thay test for,  where u told the result immediatly  ,   pls i need the info, mine is wed.

TO all shell hopeful keep ur faith alive this is the time to be more closer to GOD, there is nothing impossible to GOD. IF HE CAN DO IT FOR ONE, HE CAN STIL DO IT FOR U, ESPECISLLY U.

I did my srd on the 10th oct. i read mechanical engineering .the location was lagos for my srd. but i wrote the test in warri, my medical is warri. on 23rd jan.

God is great . i just got mine today. mine is at warri 23/01/08. GOD CAN DO ALL THINGS.

Hi Robbie lex, u are a great man. i just want to say thank u to all those who have contributed to this topic, u all are great. let us keep our faith in GOD, Cos whatever God doeth is forever, he had pulled us through the test he will also pulled us through the interview ,to the job in jesus name amen. the year may be ending but God is not trough with us yet, he is too faithfull to fail

it was a friend that give me the info. i did mine on wensday oct. 10th. as for when they got their i.v, i dont really know.

from the info. i got from a friend, the interview is still on. some guys are having their on 7/12/07. let us pray to God,. if he has pulled us through the test , he can stil pulled us through the interview.

it somebody for SITP, that has been call for medical or hr/finance? pls cos mine is sitp, i did mt interview early oct.

mine was 10th oct. it was SITP

i also attend the interview in lagos last month, it was great. please is ther anybody in the house with latest info?
