Nigerian man cries bitterly from heartache following SA win https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3AZJbyjI20?si=qT7_uWoTADArUa7W Bafana Bafana have been handed a huge advantage as the Super Eagles dropped points against Zimbabwe in their FIFA World Cup qualifying match on Tuesday evening. South Africa now sit comfortably on top of Group C with 13 points following a 2-0 win over Benin in Ivory Coast. Bafana Bafana are now five points ahead of Benin Republic and six points ahead of Nigeria. South Africa are in a tough spot as they face a potential three-point deduction for fielding Teboho Mokoena against Lesotho despite his suspension. Bafana Bafana secured a 2-0 win in that game, with goals from Relebohile Mofokeng and Jayden Adams, but the blunder could cost them dearly. Mokoena had accumulated two yellow cards in the Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Benin and Zimbabwe, making him ineligible for the Lesotho match. However, his participation went unnoticed until after the game, putting the team at risk of punishment from the football governing body. However, the blunder was not picked up by Lesotho, and they missed the 24-hour deadline to report the matter to the match commissioner, CAF or FIFA. In the event that Bafana Bafana are docked 3 points, Lesotho would move to second on the log with 9 points, resulting in the Super Eagles dropping to fifth position and second last in the group. Nigeria have also protested against Bafana Bafana.

MALEMA: US not interested in diplomacy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFm8ILH-LUI?si=pO2M2c2thOw1WqkM EFF leader Julius Malema has courted controversy with his performance of the Apartheid struggle song Kill The Boer (Afrikaner) on Human Rights Day, Friday. The controversial party leader addressed a crowd of supporters at Dlomo Dam in Sharpeville as part of its “Sharpeville Day” commemoration. Many South Africans, including Pretoria-born billionaire Elon Musk, have criticised Malema’s performances of the song. In clips circulating on the X app, clips of Julius Malema singing Kill The Boer quickly went viral. The EFF party leader closed out his Sharpeville Day commemoration with the controversial struggle song. Kill the boer (Afrikaner) song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PihqU-fsUNE?si=FZqUAJnatIsMhoSv

MALEMA BLASTS TRUMP ADMINISTRATION During his address, Malema responded to critics of the land Expropriation Bill, which included US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who have been accused of spreading “misinformation” about South Africa. Trump has offered Afrikaner South Africans the opportunity to seek refugee status in America over his claims of “racial discrimination.” Of the widely contended bill, Malema said: “Today we are confronting racists with legislation and a constitution to expropriate land without compensation. “The USA is not interested in diplomacy. The USA is interested in dominance over us by any means necessary. We must stand up and fight for ourselves because we represent a historical mission, and that mission is to return the land. “Whether Donald Trump likes it or not, we are going to fight for the return of this land in South Africa.” Addressing Musk, Malema continued: “We must not be intimidated by Elon Musk and everybody who stands with him. All those who are offered an opportunity to go to America because there is a genocide against them you are free to go. We have no home for racists in South Africa”. AFRIKANER LOBBY GROUP, AFRIFORUM, RESPONDS Malema’s performance of Kill The Boer had many South Africans outraged, particularly with the timing on Human Rights Day. Outspoken critics like Roland Schoeman, The Kiffness, and Renaldo Gouws condemned the EFF leader over his decision to sing the song. AfriForum’s Kallie Kriel (Afrikaner lobby group) – who is being probed for treason over his comments about South Africa – also reacted. Tagging both Donald Trump and SA President Cyril Ramaphosa, he tweeted: “As President @realDonaldTrump would say: “VERY BAD” things are happening in South Africa. Today, the chant Kill the Boer, kill the farmer, which targets Afrikaners and farmers, was once again sung in South Africa. “@PresidencyZA Ramaphosa and other senior ANC leaders were, as always, silent—once again giving it tacit support by not condemning it. Ironically, this happened today, a day officially recognised as Human Rights Day in South Africa”. ‘KILL THE BOER IS PART OF MY HISTORY’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbtrV29N5ZQ?si=F5LietccL1e46deW In 2023, Malema defended his performance of Kill The Boer at the EFF’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Speaking in a media address, he denied allegations the song would “incite violence” or fuel racial tensions. Malema said: “If it had any negative connotation, it should have done it in the 90s. It had all the reasons to do it in the nineties. It still hasn’t done it. So, why would he do it now? “To say to us don’t sing this song because it belongs to the nineties. You are asking me to forget my history. I will not do that. “It’s part of my history. It’s where I come from. I use this song to remind myself of what we’ve gone through”. He continued: “We’ve emphatically and repeatedly said the Boers and the farmers do not refer to individuals but refer to a system of oppression. “So from its inception, it has never been targeted at individuals. It has always been targeted as a system of oppression. “If we had intentions to kill anyone, we had 100,000 people under our noses after chanting it. We would have all left that stadium in unison to go and kill the white people. But our people understand it for what it is.” According to a 2022 ruling, the Equality Court found that Kill the Boer was not considered hate speech.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otkCs_oUEnY?si=SlCNcldWxe4N22hv Bafana Bafana prodded, pressured and picked apart Lesotho's resolute defence without losing their patience. They hit the side net, shook the sky, pummelled the post and when they found the target – Sekhoane Moerane was in a mean and ungiving mood in Lesotho's goals. But they remained patient. Likuena defended in numbers, camping in their own half and barely attempting to trouble Ronwen Williams who didn't make a single save. But they remained patient. Lyle Foster endured a frustrating night, while Percy Tau couldn't find his roar. But they, too, remained patient. Relebohile Mofokeng tormented the visitor's defence, creating and finding himself at the end of enough chances to easily help Bafana record a new big win margin to eclipse their 5-0 victory over Congo-Brazzaville in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). But he, just like everyone the green and gold of Bafana, remained patient. The 2-0 score-line – against a nation that has a semi-professional league, with some of their best players campaigning in South Africa's amateur structures and ranked 149th in a 210-member system – doesn't give the full picture of the significance of this result. In years gone by, these are the type of games where Bafana would have slipped up – losing their patience when they struggle to penetrate ultra defensive minnows and end up being caught on a counter for a sucker punch. But they have drastically improved in that regard, keeping their structure when things didn't work out after throwing everything at their opponents. Hugo Broos kept his composure on the bench, with his cool persona rubbing off on his players who kept passing the ball around as if to hypnotise the bus that Lesotho parked. Broos and his Bafana knew what Lesotho was going to throw at them. They saw eSwatini play similarly against Cameroon, in a match played on Wednesday that the team watched together at their base – The Ranch, just outside of Polokwane. So, when Lesotho applied the same approach – Bafana knew that patience was going to be their most important arsenal. They played a brand of enterprising football, controlled the game but also showed a fighting spirit when that was needed. The crowd also played their part, coming in numbers to fill Peter Mokaba Stadium in a continuation of South Africans showering Bafana Bafana with love. That support, which didn't give up on Bafana in their most frustrating spells, fuelled Broos' men in their attempt to break down a stubborn defence. "When you see the crowd today, how they supported and pushed us – they really helped us," said Broos after the match. "They pushed us to score the goals. I can only be happy. I am happy with the performance of my team. I said in the pre-match meeting that today we are going to fight more than just play beautiful football – but we did both. "We played beautiful football and also fought. We had seven or eight good chances to score. We learned a lot from the Afcon, and in a game like this where not everything is beautiful, you have to fight." That crowd, however, turned on Tau when he couldn't find the back of the net. Their reaction wasn't as animated because of the goals that Relebohile Mofokeng and Jayden Adams scored to give Bafana three points that put them at the top of their group. Mofokeng, 20, and Adams, 23, put on a display that gave a hint that Bafana's future could be prosperous. Even though the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) later this year and the 2026 FIFA World Cup are the main targets – Broos has also been preparing the team with an eye on the future. That future looks in safe hands, with not just the pair doing well but also a number of youngsters in the Premier Soccer League and even abroad raising their hands. The control that Bafana played with, despite missing two regulars in defence (Rushwin Dortley and Aubrey Modiba), without their playmaker and his potential successor (Themba Zwane and Patrick Maswanganyi) showed that the pool of players of the national team is expanding. Broos even had the chance to give Ndamulelo Maphangule, the Venda-born midfielder, a chance to play for his country in his home crowd. The quick-thinking Mofokeng called Maphangule to come close to him when Bafana got a throw, so that he could at least touch the ball after coming on in during referee's optional time. Mofokeng was paying forward the gesture of Williams, who implored Broos to give the then-teenager his Bafana debut against Zimbabwe in Bloemfontein last year. The thoughtfulness and caring nature of this team is what will see them return to the summit of African football. But to stay there and make an impact, Broos might have to make tough decisions with some of their attackers – especially Foster and Tau who have struggled to find their scoring touches, in a team that has improved up front in last few years. The naysayers will say that this was just a win over Lesotho, but those who have seen the mess in Mauritania, Bafana being crushed by Cape Verde and silenced by Seychelles – this win showed how much progress the team has made. Bafana didn't just beat a lowly side, but they exorcised the demons that have held them back

Righteousness2:I already posted that and attached a screenshot for emphasis. Not breaking news. Anyway, he's leaving by friday - IsraHELL's ambassador to SA was kicked out over 12 months ago. We lead, they follow. SA 3 - 1 IsraHELL |
Righteousness2:Just last week our gallant ambassador Rasool called the rednecks in the White House "white supremacists" right in their face and in their homeland. What the heck is IsraHELL? We sent their ambassador packing last year, dragged them to the ICJ and supported the ICC case against Netanyahu. He's now holed up in IsraHELL and Redneck DC. Can't travel anywhere else in the world coz The Hague's looking to cuff him 😂. |
Righteousness2:Was the next ICC appearance scheduled for today? Nope. Google when that will be and I'll bet you SA will be there to proceed with the case. IsraHELL on the other hand won't attend while the bloodthirsty rednecks in the White House will be intimidating the judges with the threat of sanctions. |

DeeScan:They're also coming for Nigeria and the funniest thing is you didn't even do anything to deserve the sanctions 😂😂😂. With SA we know what we're charged with and stand by it, not like some wimps who have no opinion on anything and everything. |
Botragelad:If i was living under an apartheid system i would also commit Oct 7 - why is Israel surprised? Adhere to the 2 state, abandon apartheid policy and Palestinians won't be hateful of Israel and its allies. Eveytime one Israeli is killed their name is splashed all over the media. When 1000s of Palestinians are killed no one is named. No wonder you were all surprised Oct 7 happened, Palestinians have been living under subjugation for decades. Take stock of Israel's crimes for once. |
DeeScan:We should be ashamed of something you know nothing about? DeeSCAM you really are the epitome of daftness. |
fman:Hunger-gerian, sorry to burst your ignorance. I know ignorance is bliss, but HIV doesn't kill - aids does. There's no aids in SA because most people are on arvs. 90% of arvs in SA are bought by the SA govt, not the US. So no ones dying anytime soon of aids. Just some free skoolin'😎 Unless you're referring to an SA in a parallel universe, then provide proof of this. Daftness everywhere, i swear. |
Righteousness2:Most of the world believes in a 2 state solution, including SA. Those who believe in 'Israel takes all approach' are the evil ones who believe in domination and violence - the bloodthirsty rednecks in the White House included. |
ANC supports renaming https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzNmm5AwNaU?si=VcEl9ewaor_xL1Et South Africa could lose its United States consulate in Johannesburg if the city changes the name of Sandton Drive to Leila Khaled Drive. On Thursday, 13 March 2025, a motion to rescind renaming Sandton Drive to Leila Khaled Drive was dismissed after a vote during a council meeting. Many councillors claimed that the process of renaming Sandton Drive was fraught with problems, including questionable support from residents. These councillors argued that the city should focus on service delivery instead of wasting money on vanity projects like name changes. They added that thousands of residents and businesses in Sandton opposed the change and that it was highly controversial. However, other Johannesburg councillors supported the name change, arguing that it shows support for Palestine. Most of the City of Johannesburg councillors voted against the motion to rescind the renaming of Sandton Drive to Leila Khaled Drive. US RESPONSE Joel Pollak, the frontrunner to become the United States Ambassador to South Africa, warned that this name change could have severe consequences. It will see the United States close its consulate in Johannesburg, which is located at 1 Sandton Drive in Sandhurst. “The consulate will be closed and not be reopened. It will not be moved and go to another office. The United States will not do business with Johannesburg,” he said. Pollak added in a post on X, “Helpfully, the renaming would create another savings for DOGE: close the consulate.” WHO IS LEILA KHALED Leila Khaled is a controversial freedom fighter for Palestinian rights and a former Palestinian militant and member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Khaled gained prominence after her role in the TWA Flight 840 hijacking in 1969 and one of the four simultaneous Dawson’s Field hijackings the following year. She was imprisoned for the hijackings but was released in a prisoner exchange for civilian hostages kidnapped by other PFLP members. Gauteng premier supports renaming https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmXilLzURsU?si=2cFKoDNwIm0V2VHz ANC's SUPPORT FOR PALESTINE The ANC is an ally to Palestine. Since the 1950s, the ANC has enjoyed strong ties with the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO). Last year, the ANC in the City of Joburg Council, supported by the EFF, proposed renaming Sandton Drive to Leila Khaled Drive. The ANC’s first deputy secretary general, Nomvula Mokonyane, was particularly keen on the name change. She reportedly said, “We want the United States of America embassy to change their letterhead to Number 1 Leila Khaled Drive”. “We are sending a message that they cannot dominate us and tell us what to do. It must be in their face, it must be in their computers, in their letterheads,” she is quoted as saying. IMPLICATIONS OF CONSULATE CLOSURE Should the name change go through and the consulate closes, as Pollak warned, it will greatly impact South Africans. The United States Consulate in Johannesburg provides consular services in Gauteng, Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and North-West Provinces. These services include helping Americans with emergencies and assisting them with documents like passports and reports of birth. The Consulate helps non-Americans, mostly South Africans, with non-immigrant and immigrant visas to the United States. South Africans will have to travel to Cape Town and Durban to get the services they currently receive from the United States consulate in Johannesburg.
