Thank you ![]() thank you to everyone who congratulated me and have not been acknowledged, may we rejoice with everyone as well. Ethelia: |
![]() Keep reading now, you ain't seen nuffin yet. I love this thread though, everyone's contributions have helped prepare me objectively for this move. At least now i know i wouldn't be picking CAD on the streets Ethelia: |
Sounds like you're right around the period where things got shaky here...lol! Ethelia: |
thank you Congratulations on yours as well...may this Canada journey favour us o...hope you are more at ease with moving now though happytbaby: |
I want to believe every case is different because up to 20% of my POF was the 25% RSA funds for both me and my husband and there is no way we would have met the minimum if it was taken out. I think this needs more cases to support if it is true. It will be a sad blow if they start rejecting this as a source of funding biko!!! Guitarlife: |
Yes I did, was not aware you could combine into one gift deed at the time Obi1conte: |
Thank you all for your messages and amen! @CPEThorpe, 1. I used just one NOC, i only changed it post ITA when i realised i had filled the wrong one in my pre-ITA profile. 2. I just got someone to witness and sign along with the *gifters* that's all Eraytee:[ smslive2:q IamtrulyBlessed:

|
![]() Was waiting for everyone to announce their own first then i will use fresh week slot. Thank you sir! luffyhaki: |
jelmusboy:Hope you checked your spam as it could have been sent there in error. Also, is your email prioritised? These are options to explore... Hoping it comes this week if the suggested is not the case |
Hello Everyone, I would like to start this week by dropping my timeline and state that I'm grateful for God's mercies. My application was processed in less than 40 days...never hespered it! CRS: 450 ITA: April 25 AOR: May 30 MEP: June 12 IP2: July 6 PPR: July 7 (no ghost update) Passport submitted: July 9 (Was a little short on cash and met a lady who without any fuss, gave me the required cash in exchange for a funds transfer. If you are on this forum, i really appreciate you and you confirmed to me that we have good people in this country) NOC: Thank you @newmum for helping me see that i had chosen the wrong NOC even though i was post-ITA so that i could change it to the closer match before submitting. Getting my reference letter wanted to be a real war but God intervened and somehow i got it through an unexpected twist of events. Background: My application was pretty simple; married with children and more than 6 years experience in my primary NOC. Hubby's work experience was detailed in personal history. IELTS: Aced on first try and honestly used it as a fleece to confirm if God wanted me to embark on this journey at all and also to confirm if all the grammar i think i speak was worth anything... . My speaking was HORRIBLE and i was sure i had failed but ended up with an 8, overall band was 8.5.ECA: This was the second curve ball, it took 4 months to conclude due to NASU strike but i was just chilling as POF was kuku not complete. POF: Didn't know how much was expected when i started this journey and honestly if i knew, I would have chickened out. Got to know after acing IELTS and it was too late to turn back. POF was half complete as at ITA but the funds showed up barely a month after. Got two gift deeds from close family members for up to 50% of total POF and didn't notarize any based on info from this forum. Submitted all my account statements and even salary account for good measure even though the balance was meager, major funds were in money market funds and 25% of pensions contribution for both me and hubbs. @Newmum i'm still very much rooting for your PPR story so i'm posting mine before the avalanche of congrats for yours comes this week. @Everyone still trusting and waiting to complete one stage or the other, it will happen as long as you keep pressing forward. I appreciate the wealth of information gathered from this forum and really believe we still have honest folk in this country. |
To this second round of PPR clinchers, a hearty congratulations. @Glitteringstar, such good news...congrats. To the ielts and ITA hopefuls, may God crown your efforts with success. PS: May the rain of PPR continue to fall on us all. |
Newmum0615:Been around and chilling, consumed a lot of popcorn reading some of the recent pages...lol We are rooting for you sis |
Congratulations to our PPR clinchers @newmum, we are waiting |
PPR18:Congratulations... Such speed!!! |
Newmum0615:Thanks a bunch ma'am. Rounding up document gathering and planning for medicals. Cheers |
@newmum0615 thanks again for helping me review my NOC. I eventually went with 1221, focusing on the aspects of my job duties that were related to project administration. Also succeeded in getting HR to include the expanded duties with my supervisor's consent. So now I have to deal with writing a very detailed LOE clarifying why my pre-ITA NOC is different from the one I'm prooving experience for post ITA |
Compu001:I think that should suffice too. CIC states that payslips should be included if you have them But if you don't mind my asking, how come you can't get the bank statement anymore? |
Bonvieto:There are other ways to prove work experience like getting a former colleague to write a personal reference on a plain sheet, showing payslips, employment letter, promotion letters etc. Just Google to see what the alternatives are before resorting to declining ITA |
thekingskiddy:I learnt from research that this is not true. So far the change does not cause your score to drop below the ITA score for which you were invited, you should have no problem. This means for FSW, if you still have a minimum of 3years experience in NOC a,b or 0 after removing the experience you want to take out or if your score was high enough to begin with to still give you a good score after the deduction, you're good. Instead of just wasting ITA slots. I'm changing my NOC from what i selected pre-ITA so I have a material difference in my application, let's see how it goes |
ghuzy01:Called inspector moshood o..you can search the thread for his number. Some people paid less sef, u have to bone face |
Congrats to all those who received PPR this week...to those waiting, yours is on the way, hang in there. i'm also feeling this quick processing o...please tell us if you're inland or outland Dokstar: |
rockrookie91:I'm interested too please, why are we all using studio 24 self if there are equally competent options? In other news, my PCC cost 5k cos I boned for the guy when he wanted to collect 7500 ( I hope I was not swerved sef) |
mosky47:the only discrepancies will be if you are unable to prove any of the details you have inputted in the CRS tool. For the IELTS, please aim to score the highest band across all 4 modules to get the highest score though with 8777 in LSRW will suffice depending on your other metrics. oh..you also lose 5 points for each additional year added to your age |

czaratwork:Hi @czaratwork...nice to read from you and side eye for not acknowledging some of us(hands in the air) that asked after you. |
Seen your response. Thank you plenty Newmum0615: |
zezebabyxoxo:Hi, I think that relocating is always a big life changing decision for anyone but if you read through this thread from beginning, you'll see that people who relocate actually get jobs. Your fiance can also explore the option of an internal transfer if his company has a Canadian office. For info on the process for relocation to Canada, please visit this page https://www.nairaland.com/4472519/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled |
happytbaby:Lol...it's intentionally random ![]() |
Newmum0615:Forwarded my last mail again and I quoted my Monica in the email title this time ![]() I hope it works. Thanks for your time again |
Moravia:Awesome stuff, @wengerly thank you ![]() |
