In as much as I abhor the lifeless one, FFK should stop whining up stupid religion sentiment. Enough said, they are thieves and we should condemn them.

will you keep quiet. Back to the topic, I decided to be a celibate on sunday feb 10 2019. I arranged one girl that I just met through a friend come my room, while other was in church service, I was busy sweating ontop of this girl. The life changing moment came when I ejaculated only to see that my condom has scattered. The vagina fluid has soaked inside and at that moment I became jittery cos my guy had already warned me that the girl is wayward and she may be probably HIV positive. I turned to God for forgiveness and prayed throughout the night. In the morning I rushed to hospital (teaching hospital) to demand for PEP and in total I spend 3thousand naira to get the drug but I didn't mind. I started taking the drug which the side effect was terrible, the nauseating effect of the drug is second to none but I didn't mind. On thursday 14 feb 2019 I woke up to notice that urinating is as if I am urinating hot water. It was burning my penis. I went for test and it was Gono and I was given Rocephin injection and it vanished. After 6months I went for HIV test and the stupid guy doing the test said I should enter room with him, my soul left my body and this stupid guy kept saying that I should practice safe sex and I should buy my personal clipper. He later handed the result and I was negative to both Hiv 1 and 2. Since feb 10 till now I am still a celibate, don't kill yourself because of mere 15mins enjoyment.

It should cut across all state.

Let her seek for fresh admission. We all do it but, those things are better done inside without camera.

14. I am pretty frugal. I love the easy and cheap life.

After everything, I wear my heels to work on Monday. When he sees how I do things out there- makes him wonder how the same woman is his chick. They love shii like that.

I can't be every man's woman, I can only be one man's woman (i.e) I can only bend for one. The rest should fix themselves. That's why I said, till I see mine posting nonsense on here, I can just chill...

... just as not every proverb should be taken seriously. the point is that many of the atrocities written in these holybooks are not removed, so why would you expect us to suddenly disregard these old proverbs?!?!? ust do the same thing you do when reading the rubbish in these holybooks....

In summary, I am discarding the proverb that encourages violence on women. Thanks.

if people TODAY continue to read whats written in the bible/qur'an and have no problems with it then i think it should also be ok to have the same outlook with these above old proverbs i quoted.

unfortunately, not everything written in the bible/quran is worth emulating and people discarded it for a reason.

this is how people viewed women in the past yes... and as much you may disagree with it, thats how women were viewed.... same way that the bible/qur'an are viewing women as second class citizen, since biblical times... no big deal here!

Thank God, you said it is in the past. Old things have passed away. Our forefathers were beast and committed all manner of atrocities like killing of twins, should we also continue in the same way. We are in the era of civilization, it is either you get in or be left behind.

i think there is a huge difference between domestic violence and RAPE, but i can understand how some people might see the above Arab proverb as insensitive... although these proverbs have been here for centuries, in the past it was considered normal, and i was just making an observation . here are other well known proverbs about beating ones wife:
