Please can you list out all the appointments that are very important and let's cross check who actually benefited from appointments .....you guys should stop these lies....benefited how? I don't understand you....... ::-- You didn't read my post with an open mind. Mr Ola was the only Yoruba man in Jonathan's government. Please, name other person from 1st to 13th key position. Let Ndigbo come together and present one sellable candidate and woo the Yorubas to support them in 2019 or Nigeria should let go. Instead of working, we are busy wailing and defending corrupt elements. You are to stop sentiment first before you can advise another. If we are to name a presidential candidate in igboland. I am certainly sure that more that sixty people will emerge and they will never co-operate. Ndigbos are not united. Can you please look inwardly? |

meccuno: politically speaking, let us drop sentiments aside or even Nigerias development. Crude politics is what is being played in Nigeria. I don't know why the SW felt that they would be able to tell the Northerners what to do. And the annoying thing is that they believe that they and the North are pals.....a brief example is the SW muslims and the Northern muslims.....they don't usually pray in the same mosque and even if they do,that mosque would never be headed by a yoruba Muslim.....even a friends gate man as uneducated as he is says the yorubas are not straight forward people because they practice their culture and traditions before religion........when the mai guard was saying this I was like wow.....the North base most of their political decisions on religion and tribal affiliation......they feel that they are more superior....I didn't vote for buhari because going buy his antecedents, he lacks the profile of who would move Nigeria where we want us to be........the north might be comfortable with the country this way because they have always been laid back and are not that ambitious when it comes to life but the south is a different kettle of fish........the truth is, and I choose my words carefully is that the North benefits from doing things the wrong way because it puts them In a very strategic position. If things where to be done rightly, they would be the greatest loosers.....that is why they have to be in the helm of affairs.......but how long they would be in control is what I don't know.....the igbos where I come from are people who do not like to be bossed around......and the civil war even made them more aggressive in nature......they would always complain and feel non chalant about Nigeria...........if everybody is given a fair chance @ making it in Nigeria, the North would loose out........but why the SW decided to piTch tent with these people beats my imagination.....the SW would have had a say in GEJs government but they blew that chance.....I still feel sorry for those who think having light generation is the only means to development............it would soon clear in their eyes ::-- Jonathan called Yoruba elders rascals. Would you have encouraged your kinsmen to vote for such a person if it was your tribe?. Through out his six years of mismanagement, he only engaged a Yoruba man as Accountant General of the Federation(Mr. Ola). The Yorubas never made any noise about lopsided appointment that favoured Ndigbo, why the wailing? Yorubas know how to politick more than us, and i respect their political acumen. Remember, stealing is now corruption. You can as well "tag me" a slave to hausa/fulani. Thanks. |
