god bless am really thankful
dawnomike:
Don't waste your time going legal on this one... I will give you detailed steps on how to go about it.

1 - Call back the bank's customer care and tell them you are going ahead to petition CBN on the matter and drop the call instantly.

2 - Walk up to your bank branch manager and tell him the same thing

3 - Request to meet with the EFCC inbound bank representative and explain the matter to you...

4 - contact the CBN by sending an official email to cpd@cbn.gov.ng and contactcbn@cbn.gov.ng Then go ahead an also call CBN customer care line to complain +234 7002255226.

Give your bank 3 working days after this and see how your bank branch manager will start to call you for a resolution kest he loses his job.

Please follow the above to details and save yourself any further stress.

please pardon my grammatical and typo

so seven months ago i got a call from diamond bank customer care section, the customer care agent that called introduced me to the pay day loan service she told me that i can apply for the loan by just dialing a code on my phone, she said they will take back the money from my account once my salary drops, she urged me to apply for it,after the call i applied for the loan and got 75k instantly. but thing took a different turn when my salary dropped they did not take back the money i left the money in my account for days but the bank did not retract it so i ended up using the money the next month the same thing happened and i became worried and it prompted me to call diamond customer care section, i explained the whole situation to the lady that picked my call and she told me not to worry that the interest does not accumulate that is just a one time thing she also told me dat a new account was created for me automatically the moment i took the loan (which nobody told me about) she also told me that the new account is mainly for me to repay the loan so i asked her to help me with the account details that was created for me so i can make an instant transfer to the account and clear the loan, she told me that she will need to ask me some security question and i said no problem,i accurately answered all the questions she asked the only question i could not answer was that of my account balance and i explained to her that i dont keep alerts, but she insisted that if i cant tell her my balance at that time that she cant give me the information i needed to pay back the loan,i tried pleading with her but she still insisted i must state my balance we where at it when i ran out of call unit, her attitude made me very angry that night and i was like since they dont want to give me the info to pay back and the interest is not accumulating i dont have to worry my self but after 2 months i had to call them again and i made it clear to them to take back the money from my account the way they credited it so after that call they took the 38k i had in my account and my account was also placed on -37k which i also dropped in 42k to clear the -37k but i they took the 37k to my book balance and left me with an available balance of 5k they left the 37k in my book balance for 3 days this prompted me to call them again and i explain to the lady that took my call and told her to clear the loan with the money instead of keeping it in book balance she said it will be done and she even told me i can apply for another loan in the next 3 hours but to my shock when i logged into my mobile app 3 hours later i saw the money in my available balance and i also noticed that a restriction has been placed on my account which means she moved the money from my book balance where i couldnt access it and took it to my available balance where i can access it and then she placed a restriction on my account i called again and explain to the man that took my call he doesnt even have a clue about the pay day loan service i ended up lecturing him on dia service and he said i should hold on that he has to place me on hold so he could get more information so as to serve me better i waited on the line for 4 minutes he got back to me and told me that every thing resolved true to his words the 37k has finally left my account and i got an alert that the pay day has been cleared but i can no longer withdraw money from my account nor can i transfer for the passed 3 weeks now i ve been calling dia customer care line at least 4 times every day and they keep push me around last friday my mother was ill i needed to buy her drugs and food but i cant access my money so i had to borrow credit from airtel to call them again and de guy that spoke to me told me that there is a restriction on my account dat the system is showing that i still owe them 75k but that he can see from his end that i have paid back the loan but he is sorry he cant do anything to fix it he told me that for it to be fixed that i have to go to any of dia branch i asked him what can a branch do that the head office cant handle but he insisted that i must go to a branch so dis monday i went to the branch i opened my account but to my shock the operation manager said i should call the customer care i got angry and told him that the customer care agents said i should go to the branch he then opened up to me that the agent just want to get me off his back by asking me to come to the branch office he told me that he also will not remove the restriction even doe he can see clearly on his system that i have paid them he said if he removes the restriction that he will be quarried and penalized,he said the person that put the restriction will have to remove it her self but yesterday i called dia customer care line and de lady that spoke with me told that they all at the customer care section know about my case as i ve almost spoken to all the agents due to my call rate and that each time i call they doe send a reminder to the unit that will handle it.

please nairalanders i need advice on how to go about this legally

By TonyeBarcanista

When Imo state Governor, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, was inaugurated in May 29 this year he told the people of the state that the damage done by his immediate predecessor and now senator Rochas Okorocha, was more than pathetic. I assumed that he was exaggerating the situation on ground considering that he was of different political platform with Okorocha and it is the norm of people of opposing political parties.

On Friday, October 18, I, along with delegation from PDP New Media Team, set out on a journey from Abuja to Owerri to honor the funeral of late Social Media personality, Stanley Nwabia in his hometown in Mbaitoli, Imo state.

In the course of the journey, I was welcomed to Kogi state by some terrible roads but I wasn't surprised, because I never expected to see something better than what I always see when plying that route. To me, Kogi has the worst road in Nigeria but... I was wrong!

Entering Imo state was pathetic. Every road and feeder roads in Imo state are eyesore and in complete ruin. Even the tunnel that I had blindly praised Rochas for after seeing it on TV and social media, was highly dilapidated and a death trap that every vehicle avoided except ours. The most shameful sight is World Bank Road- that road is complete ruins and not motorable. Meanwhile, the most disgraceful is the road leading to "Peoples House", this is because one ordinarily expect that such a road should be of world class but it wasn't. All the so-called road projects that Okorocha's propagandists parade on social media and newspapers are complete fraud. There is no single road in Imo state with good drainage system and no single road that is without potholes dragging space with vehicles.

Indeed, Imo state has the worst drainage system in Nigeria and no provision for waste disposal - No wonder Governor Ihedioha vowed to rid the state off dirt and waste that littered everywhere.

I have always held the opinion that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has no business in government house but now I'll say that he is miles better than Rochas' eight years as Governor of Imo state. I am not a fan of President Muhammadu Buhari style of administration but it is better for one to entrust his business to Buhari than to Rochas Okorocha - He is that bad!

Some readers may think I'm sounding this way because I am a PDP member, but that narrative isn't correct. I have never ceased from singing the praises of Rotimi Amaechi for some of the works he did as Governor of Rivers state, my home state despite him being of APC.

Honestly, I pity Governor Emeka Ihedioha, he is a governor that inherited all-round problem from his predecessor, he has so much work to do. He's so unlucky to be elected Governor of Imo state at this time, he is in for real work, I honestly don't envy him! But that is what service is all about, he has no other business to do than to work and deliver- that is the reason he's a leader!

Most importantly, I pity Imo people for being subjected to eight years of Okorocha, I can't help but wonder how they were able to survive under his administration. I really sympathise with Ndi'Imo!

Fortunately, Governor Ihedioha has always maintained and shown by his actions that he is ready for the challenge. Indeed, he has started well and I pray God grants him the wisdom and strength to turn Imo state around for the good, the better and the best. Amen!

I appreciate, Hon Izuchukwu Akwarandu, SA New Media to Imo state Governor, and members of his team for their hospitality; Mr Kingsley Ohen, President of United Patriots of Nigeria and entire members of UPN for always checking on me; Barr Tony Ehilebo, Coordinator of PDP New Media Team and entire members of PDP New Media Team for brotherly cohesion, and entire members of Nairaland family.

May God Bless Us All and Bless Nigeria
