First, shingles only happen to those that had chicken pox initially. It is just a reactivation of the virus that causes chicken pox. Secondly, shingles isn't a sure symptom of HIV. It's majorly caused by compromised immunity not necessarily HIV. I had shingles early this year and No, I'm not Hiv positive.
