I wish to use this moment to thank all those that have commented on this story. I have tried responding to each comment but I am unable to at the moment. Just realise that I am grateful for all the comments so far. |
Kpakam:Thank you. |
myndd:Thanks a lot. |
nellyme:Am sorry about that, I must have missed the comment. I do try to appreciate all those that give comments on my story. Am sorry again. |
fizo24:Must you disturb every thread because of business? |
Great words but there are others like: All things works well for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. If God gave up his son freely for us, won't he freely give us all things? And my personal best: I will not leave you, nor will I forsake you. And If the Lord is for us, who can be against us? |

"I have a plan." Williams faced Sodiq, who was still on the ground. "I will give you and this winch a chance to redeem yourselves. Call the SUG President. Tell him that you want to see him over something, that you want to talk. If he refuses or cuts the call, let me know." The lady searched for her phone frantically, then dashed into her room. Some guys felt like following her but Williams told them not to bother. Within two minutes she came back with a worried face. "I don't have his number." She said. "Na lie!" One of the guys vehemently opposed, causing her to cringe. "Don't worry, whether na lie or na true no matter, I get im number." He picked her phone and typed the president's number in there. "Oya call him." He urged her. He then brought out an old tape recorder, the label obviously scratched away. With eyes and ears fixed at her, she called him. "Bimpe! Bimpe!! How can I help you?" The president said in a harsh tone. She had put the call on speaker as they all retired to the room, Williams quickly started the tape recorder. "Please, I am scared, I don't know what to tell my mummy. She will know." "Why are you behaving like a baby? Find what to do about it! That's not my problem, because as far as am concerned, that day did not exist." "Ah, ah, you are wicked! After everything you did to me and my brother! Ah, God will judge you!" "Like that God cares. See, I can rape you over and over, nothing you can do about it. Better find one poor dude to put the blame on." He sneered behind the phone. "Good day!" He cut the call. As soon as he dropped the call, Williams switched off the tape recorder he had. "Okay, let's go." He then looked at Sodiq and Bimpe. "You guys are very lucky, if he did not confirm your story, you will be in Floor O by now." With those words Williams left them,Tade walking besides him. "Guy, wetin be the one wey you do for there?" Kpom! Williams delivered a knock on Tade's head. |
Am touched by the comments. Its not like I want to abandon it like that for nothing sake, its just that when it seems like people are just reading and passing by, it saps off motivation. Anyway, I will continue, thanks to all that made comments. |
bigerboy200:Were Greece that sound when they won Euro 2004? |
talktimi:Guess your eyes missed the Nationonline huh? |
MusaIbrahim1:Hey, better stop this nonsense. |
Am ending this story here, its not worth it at all. My motivation has died down, people are waiting for mentions before they even drop a comment, its very unfair. Guess Nairaland is not for me at the moment. |
As the lady dressed up, Tade and Williams turned to Sodiq. "Now tell me with you suppose to say. Why did you call me? Why did this happen?" Sodiq looked speechless and utterly dumb at them, irritating Williams. "Guy, he said to Tade, let's carry this guy go campus, maybe when we deal with am for Floor O, him go talk." Sodiq quickly went on his knees and started to beg. "Wetin be this? Abeg carry am!" Williams instructed two of the guys. "I go talk! I go talk!!" Sodiq shouted, forcing Williams to stay action. The lady, on the other hand had dressed up and was about sneaking out, only for Tade to catch her movement. "And where do you think you are going?" Tade asked her, dragging her into the middle of them all. Sodiq started to open up. "Its true that my sister was been raped, but it did not happen today." "Continue." Williams urged him. "It happened last week. The Student Union President came with two other guys, beat me and bundled me inside that wardrobe. Then, then they first argued with my sister then they beat her and raped her." "After that, they warned her not to tell anyone. But my sister was already given to a prince and they won't accept a woman who is not a virgin. That's why we decided to use Bro Tade." Tade smirked on hearing the comment, while Williams found it incredulous. "So, this is the excuse you have for doing what you did?" Williams asked. "Its very stupid reason." Tade added. Sodiq and the lady were not smilig either. "Its true, I swear that its true." Sodiq pleaded, laying down prostrate on the ground for all to see. His face looked sincere enough, but Tade was not ready to be deceived. Williams suddenly became serious. "I have a plan." |
OYIBN:Mr Man, I showed you the facts I have and the ones I was not sure of. I then made my comments on the facts I had. Did you read the post at all? |
Now that Enyeama has left the Super Eagles, I begin to wonder how much damage this may cause, especially if we fail to perform against Congo. |
2. I understand Enyeama's position, very, very much. But he was over doing it and behaving self-righteous. In as much as I love the Akwa-Ibom shot stopper, he can't tell me that he is completely innocent in this situation. Judging from the way he excluded himself from Oliseh's team when the coach added him to the squad going to prosecute the Tanzania and Niger Matches, I suspect that he has some misgivings about Oliseh, even though the reasons were obvious. Breaking the reason why he could not come, despite the emotions involved, was not properly done in my opinion because he could have told Oliseh, who would make it public while explaining team member absences. The manner in which he seemingly overlooked the coach and went to social media to explain his reasons shows a lack of respect in the very least and some measure of hatred at most. This may be the reason why Oliseh would pick Musa, who seems to be quite loyal no matter the kind of coach that is coaching him. So Enyeama should not make it like it was all Oliseh's fault. All in all, Oliseh will have to learn from this; there are better ways to peacefully transit from one captain to the other. Captains are not meant to be whims, therefore it should not be a surprise that an existing captain, especially with the influence of Enyeama and the manner in which it was handled, will challenge him, its left for him to navigate this dangerous turn. And hope that results favor him. Cc: honeric01, semid4lyfe |
rottennaija:I have seen it, but then that is from Christian Chukwu perspective. As far as Sunday Oliseh who is the current manager of the team has not explained why he stripped the captain's band off Enyeama, then I won't take up any other account to heart. |
However, there is also a way of handling the stripping of the captain band which would have been better than how Enyeama handled it. He could have simply waited until the meeting was over in order to talk to Sunday Oliseh as the coach. He could have also talked to his assistants about how he felt. Those are more mature ways to go about it than interrupting the Coach in the middle of the meeting. His actions were plainly disrespectful, no matter what was said by Oliseh. To those who think that the manner does not matter and are mentioning Thiago Silva and Neymar, let me remind you that the discomfort caused by that friction( which was more than just the captain's band but included Silva's starting spot) caused Brazil a couple of problems in the run-up to the Copa America. Coupled with the immature behavior of Neymar in the competition (which we hope Musa does not display), it made the competition a disaster for Brazil, hereby showing the power of a captain. Before am quoted wrongly, am not saying that's Oliseh is wrong in removing Enyeama as the captain. I am of the opinion that if such is to be done, it can be done after the two friendlies, where the effects will blow away before the next competitive match and with Enyeama being at least told in private( which is more respectful). This would send positive signals to the team and the country all together. |
1. Let me first start by quote this particular bible scripture (in my own words): 'all things are lawful, all things are allowed but not all things are necessary'. This also refers to the captain band issue. Its true that Oliseh can chose who he wants to be captain and it may be true that Ahmed Musa may be able to carry the team along effectively with other duties of the captain, I beg to ask why Oliseh chose the time and manner in which he did it. First of all, a more mature way will be to call Enyeama and have a heart-to-heart talk with him, iron issues out and then announce to the team the next day. That automatically makes Enyeama to be at ease and to feel like part of the team, disrupting little or nothing. This is considering the years of service Enyeama had put in, his dedication and the fact that he just lost his mum (which from all indications seem to be close to him). The last thing a coach should do is to rile such a player up by stripping him of the captain band, even if its to Mikel, not to talk of the fact that it was done in such a mean manner to him. |
For the past few days, fans and neutrals alike who follow the Super Eagles have been treated to different stories about the Captain band tussle between Coach Sunday Oliseh and Vincent Enyeama. While the true picture of what happened between them may not be truly ascertained at the moment, its a matter of immaturity and self-righteousness that has brought the situation to the current level. First of all, the facts that we knew that are true. 1. Vincent Enyeama buried his mother recently. 2. He arrived to camp late 3. Sunday Oliseh chose Ahmed Musa as Captain, effectively stripping Enyeama of his position 4. Enyeama reacted angrily and was summarily thrown out of the area due to his reaction From all this with the knowledge I have, I can say this: 1. Both of them handled it immaturely 2. Enyeama was been self-righteous Let me analyze it one after the other. |
joseph1013:You expect me to believe you? Because you have some special 'informal' sources? Pleaseeee!!! Nothing less than video evidence will convince me, cos anyone could be right or wrong. |
The shock that Tade had was unexplainable. Here he was expecting a woman shattered and in tears, crumpled up and crushed by the abuse called rape. Yet here was a totally different girl, who was not only seemingly happy but was totally naked, like she was expecting sex from her boyfriend. He turned around and saw that the door was locked. See Gobe! Sodiq used the opportunity of the shock to lock Tade inside. With that successful, he was sure that the setup was complete. He did not figure that Williams was that close to him, so as he turned away from the door, he came in contact with Williams, who was with seven other guys. "Open the door." Williams immediately asked of him. Sodiq, confronted by the current situation went ahead to open the door. Tade was saved by the door. "What the hell is happening here?!" Williams said as he opened the door, shocked at the sight of a naked lady chasing Tade. The lady whose scheme was spoiled, looked on like a spoiled egg while Tade quickly pushed her away and walked towards Williams. "Na wetin I see be that." He responded. "Where is that boy that locked the door?" One of the guys with Williams dragged Sodiq to him. "Now tell me, what's wrong?" He turned to the lady who was still shocked. "Dress up, your body is irritating!" |
PRINCEZUKO1:I did not skip that, how could I? I still read part of the coalition arc, stopped when the huge Chu Commander was killed by Tou and Mangekou by Shin. I then skipped to the Rebellion arc and finished it, assuming that it ended in the death of Seikyou and the passage of his caucus to Rui. |
Divepen, where are thou? |
Am now at the events after the Coalition war (did skip a huge chunk of that tho, will come back to it soon). Nice seeing Shin using Ouki's glaive and Kyoukai being a 1000 unit commander. Also the childish contest between Shin and Ouhon. |
