You should have said this long ago, other than trailing someone who was probably right. Why did you have to wait so long to be "frank"?
Hello.

I had no problem with some of her assertions, it was her attack on an aunt that had nothing to do about it apart from being an example that annoyed me and almost everyone that criticized her.

Read what my argument with her was about.

OP, to be frank to you, its seems like you are trying to water down adultery by asserting that women should be patient with cheating men but you know that men cannot be patient with cheating women.

I can assure if it was the other way round, your uncle is most likely to divorce her, probably with some beating too. To me infidelity in both sides is not acceptable or justifiable. You just alluded that Men are goats( goats are the best example of such behavior around here).

That said, its true that Patience and Forgiveness is needed in marriage. Patience in deciding what to do next and forgiveness is also needed.

Are you on him the way you are on me? If you are not, please do not quote me ever again
Again, you missed what am trying to say here- I did not mean that place, I meant when you started calling me biased because I challenged you over the dead aunt.

Mind you, I quoted you again cheesy , don't mind me.

Apology for what? Nigerians have come again o

Would I have if I knew she was dead? No
Am I remorse for using such words on her? Yes
Do I have to apologise? No
Why? Because it has been done and the op is too silly to admit his own mistakes and too silly to accept one

I can attack his aunt. Why? Because he used his aunt's case to attack all women.
Can I see that I shouldn't have attacked her? yes, because I realised that I could have insulted him for not recognising that his aunt's case was different and I should have explained his aunt's actions in a much clearer way without insulting her.

Can you blame me? Not really. he attacked me first with his aunt's actions.

Are you biased? Yeah, you wouldn't let the dead aunt go after repeated explanation and if I were to apologise, it is not in your place to tell me so
You were making sense until you did what you have been doing since- insisting that you are right. Its not in my place to ask you to apologise but you refused to state more that you did not know that she was dead. Moreover, you did not notice when I said that its not just about her being dead.

Oh! You are not biased but you missed the part where he called me names. You are not biased and you chastised me for insulting his 'dead' aunt whom I had no idea she was dead. You are not biased yet totu couldn't addressed the issues I raised.

I don't know what else you are if not biased
So because HE attacked your character, you decide to attack HIS aunt? What happened to attacking him back using himself? Nobody has hammered anything towards your family members.

Of course, I did not have time for the OP because you keep denying your mistakes and faults.

Yeah, I am bitter if he mashed you feel better.

You chose what you wanted to read if the only thing you could pick out from my post is the alleged insult. You choos what you wanted to read is you believe that the OP didn't insult women with his choice of words. You chose what you wanted to read if you wouldn't let the ‘dead' aunt go, after my explanation.
So an explanation means that a simple sorry is not in place abi?

Moreover, its not just about the aunt being dead, its more about your attacks on her. She chose her way of dealing with the issue- does not mean that her self esteem is poor. You just threw a punch at her and whether dead or alive she does not deserve it.

About the perceived insult of women by the OP, I saw that too and I said in my first post that the OP made some wrong assertions( which you chose to ignore again). So if you can't see that and notice other things mentioned by the others but you only see the insults, then you are really biased.

As I said before, calm down and read everyone's post all over. You really don't need to argue on like this.

I didn't she was dead! Are you thick?
See! You started insulting me when I did nothing to you! Later you will start complaining about bias and what-have-you.

The simple truth is that you did not read the OP post well enough neither did you read my own well enough, you chose to read what you wanted to read-something to attack people. Its hard to believe that you have something else in mind when you first replied the OP post.

Probably its just the 'bitter thing'.

Don't quote me again please, if you are biased.

You like objectivity yet you decided not to see that the aunt is dead. Moreover, assassinating the aunt was not needed in this case since it was just one out of many cases.

I don't see myself as biased, its you who is biased, not seeing the truth, but your opinion.

You wish! I am not like your aunt that has a lie self esteem.cheesy
If his aunt had a 'lie self esteem', then you have no self esteem. Why take out your anger on an aunt that is dead and that was patient enough to sit out her husband's cheating issue. If you can't do that, its your cup of tea.

Yes, he may have added some unwanted assertions (like trying to make cheating manageable for ladies) but the lessons of patience and forgiveness still stands and for you to just ignore it and attack the OP and his aunt is just unfortunate.

Hope you calm down.

He is partly right, some of you ladies sef go exhibit am if some guys decide to date you.

To me, dating a beautiful or sexy or a female version of Adonis takes maturity. That's why I respect Omotola's husband, the guy mature die!

I see just maturity as the issue, except she is having more issues than she is beautiful, like being a money-sucker or promiscuous.

LiteratureRe: Tade - The Rise Of An Activist. by rapmike(op): 7:39am On Oct 25, 2015
He expected to die immediately, but could still feel himself. His fear tried to delude him that it was a body shot and that he will bleed to death. However, he started hearing gunfire, a lot of gun fire and running feet. He opened his eyes and looked in bewilderment.

Kareem was on the floor, dead! Cult guys were either dropping dead or fighting back whoever it was firing at them, with a few others running away. For people that were supposed to be killed, the cult members were acting as a good shield against stray bullets.

He looked around as he saw that all of them that Kareem had planned to murder were alive, some of them squirming around trying to get away from the gun-fight.

Soon enough, the remaining cult guys made a run for it, while their opponents from the other side, who were a mixture of policemen and students, charged forward.

"What happened? How did you find us?" Tade asked Dolapo, who as the Chief Security Officer was cutting them loose and freeing them all.

"It was a lady who saw them carry any two of you." Dolapo explained, using his gaze to signify that he did not know which exact two. "She came to Akintola Hall and explained to the Hall Chairman, who then called me. I then gathered guys and made a call to the AIG, who then set the police in motion." He said, smiling.

"It did not take that long before we found you guys and we attacked just before they pulled the trigger. We were lucky that some of them die immediately." Dolapo concluded the conversation.

Tade stood up and looked at Kareem. After all this while, killing people and feeling invincible, it took one bullet to kill him. All around him were littered with bodies, bodies of people 'loyal' to him. As he walked past them, still shocked and almost petrified, he concluded that God was with him at that hour.

His thoughts were interrupted by Made, who had rushed to hug him in happiness. That move reminded Tade that it was not only the dead that surrounded him. Made, Williams and the other chanted up the Great Ife Anthem.

That was a sign of Victory.

Tade looked at him nonchalantly, completely ignoring what he had to say. This action irritated the other cult members, who shouted and hit their cutlass on the ground. Taiwo had to physically restrain some, giving one particularly stubborn one a slap.

"I am Kareem a.k.a Lightening."

As soon as Tade heard his name, his face contorted in anger, even rising up in anger despite him being bound and bumping Kareem on his head before falling down.

Everyone was quiet for a second, shell-shocked with utmost bewilderment. Then Kareem began to laugh.

"You see. He turned to the other cult members. This young worm used to have an elder brother in this school. He challenged me and I taught him a lesson, ending his life. Now this one will go the same way, to serve as a lesson to all those students who think they can stand against us."

Tade struggled to stand up all this while, Kareem conveniently ignoring him. When he was done, Kareem lifted Tade up and offered him a choke-slap, forcing him to cough and collapse.

"You mad ni? Where do yiu think you are? You are bold and reckless, just like that brother of yours."

Made, who was quiet all through, suddenly found his voice. "Bros, abeg wetin I do wey I find myself for here?" A slap quickly found its way to his cheek, shutting him up.

"You dey mad? Who ask you?" Cult members, not over 25 years, started to ask him.

Kareem looked at him with some anger, but ignored him.

"Arrange them on a line now, let's send them in military fashion."

Quickly, they were all arranged. Kareem walked to the back, returned with a dozen set of guns. He then gave each gun to some guys, taking one for himself.

"Okay, take positions!"

At this point, Tade started to reflect on what kind of life he had lived and what he had done so far. He thought about making a difference but this was not the way he thought it would end.

Meanwhile, some 30 kilometers away, some fervent prayers were going on.

"Ah God! Deliver Brother Oyemade from evil! Any plans by the enemy to destroy his life shall be in vain!"

"Sister Nike! Precious said with an air of authority. The Spirit of God showed me that Brother Made's life is in serious danger! Let's intensify our prayers!"

The atmosphere suddenly increased as their hearts connected to a common cause.

A common cause who was about to extinguish.

"Oya make we set." Kareem shouted. All those with a gun then positioned themselves properly.

Pow! As the guns were fired, Tade fell face down.

Mehn bros the thing fear me oo. One yeye storyline like that, that radioactive spider bit her too but she didn't know abi she knew but when she died she wasn't really dead and resurrected, then she gets powers....see just forget. I think they like to mess with us, shake things up a little bit to keep things from getting stale, tweak the popular characters to see what works and what doesn't. If the fans love it, then the change stays, becomes canon and we have a new superhero on our hands, or a new version of an old hero, like Spider-gwen. Her costume is dope sha so she gets a pass in my book, don't really care. Too many spider people these days,2 spider men i know of -miles morales & peter parker, 3 spider women i think- spider gwen, jessica drew and Mary jane abi it's another one, not to talk of the different venoms....they should just not touch my favorite heroes. They recently changed hulk to one asian kid, amadeus cho, i hope it's just experimentation and it's not permanent cos Hulk is one of my favorites.
In a way it makes sense, in a little way; i mean in 1960 Iron Man was Stark and in 2015 he's still Stark? Is he immortal or what? Makes sense for the person to die and pass his legacy and suit to someone else. Sometimes they try to create useless storylines to explain how the same person kept the title and it sucks
Na Thanos won't change, he's the ugly one and female Thanos will be uglier cheesy
Well, Stark suppose to be Stark. At least Superman is Kal-El not Mag-El.

Black Widower lmaoo grin
I get that but She-hulk is one of the better examples. The fans really love her so she'll eventually get her own movie. I actually prefer it when they create fresh heroes instead of bending an existing one or using legacy characters but in the end it's about how good the story is. She-hulk for instance, she's Bruce Banner's cousin, sexy lawyer, dying all of a sudden and only Banner can save her with his blood, only problem is there's a risk he might transfer the " Hulk Disease" to her in the process. Given a choice between that and watching her die, he takes the chance and she lives, but becomes she-hulk. Only she's intelligent all the time unlike hulk, just green all the time too, and sexy, and still a lawyer....like that it's actually not a bad story so they get a pass and she gets to be a popular hero. Spider-gwen is another example. I don't know how she got so popular, think she's the most popular behind Miss Marvel. Beats me, strange world
Spider-gwenhuh

*Faints, dies and faints again*

Good lawd! Not Spiderman too!

That's just sick and its gender bias too.

Why can't dey do Mr Dark Phoenix or Mr Storm? Probably they will find a she-Thanos soon?

Thank you for this thread, its something I planned to ask one day on NL.

Our Youths nowadays go butt-licking parties and tribes all in the name of stup*d egos and useless pride. The worst part is the tribalism, once a negative piece of news hit this forum and is from a part of the country dominated by one tribe, you start seeing tribal insults being flung around.

To make it worse, they start using one person/incident to lump the whole tribe. Why are we like this? Each tribe has their good and bad side, yet instead of us to find common ground and start preparing to turn around this country, we tear ourselves apart on social media. Meanwhile some of our ancestors will be vying for ministerial posts in this country, that's why I don't bother about them entering any post, most of those who come here asking for change cannot effect anything positive.
