Kike ran towards Sports Hall, sweating profusely. She had just seen two men, hefty as f*ck and very mobile carrying two young people on their shoulders. What caught her eyes however, was the shining nature of their cutlasses, so sharpened that they resembled small knives used for killing cows.

She was lucky that she hid inside the bush just before they advanced towards her, so she could watch them as they entered into another part of the bush.

"Taaanaaa! Taaaanaa!!" Her phone started to ring, giving her away.

"Who is there?" One of the men spoke, dropping the body on the ground.
"Oscar, we no get time for play, make we dey waka."
"No be nonsense jare, I dey hear noise."
"If we waste am here......"
"If person find us here nko? Oscar replied. Oya, see that light."
Trigger looked at the direction that Oscar pointed at and sure enough, there was a light coming from the other end, probably from a phone.
That piece of evidence forced Trigger to drop his load and check out the phone.
They walked cautiously until they were sure that they were the only ones around, then they moved swiftly towards the phone, picked the phone and observed it for a second before dropping it.

Kike had shook up in fright as her phone rang. She did not expect her phone to be switched on, not to talk of ringing. She had hoped the person had not sent her to her death.
She watched them turned and with horror, saw one of them move drop his body and move towards her. However, he stopped after a few steps, a complete relief to her. However she had a feeling that she may stretch her luck too far if she continued.
So she dropped her phone, snuck out and moved slowly until she was some good meters ahead of them. Then she started to run. Run hard.

As for those who criticize you for updating late; don't take it too much to heart. I also write and I know how hard it is to write in Nairaland, especially when circumstances contrive to betray you. Happened to me a couple of times, most recently with my current running story. They stole my phone on campus and it was the only way I could update. Had to wait until two months to get a new phone and get pass some stuff and people still talk sh*t about my efforts. I left them because they don't understand.

Its a fact that the clan weren't expecting any attacks.
Its also a fact that twas a night attack when the lights have gone out. Don't compare it with Pain who lunched an all out open attack by day time.
Its also a fact that twas done by only 2 people.... Itachi and Obito.
Itachi himself had no real grudge towards the clan, so when he was given the job, he contacted 'Madara' to help him out.
Obito himself have been moving in and out of Konoha unnoticed, so its not hard for him to appear in pitch darkness and kill off people without being noticed.
As for Itachi, he also took his parents unawares and that was because of Sasuke......and yes, he had the MS before then. It awoke at Shisui's death. He didn't kill Shisui though. (And this is the plot hole....why did he keep pressuring Sasuke to kill his best friend for the MS, making it seem like its the only way...while that wasn't his own way).

Thank you! I thought I wasn't making any sense at all. Rapmike wasn't convincing enough and couldn't even give my theory some thoughts. They were blinded by itachi's mangekyo, obito's technique and the so called "surprised" attack. They also forgot that surprise attack can only work in a gun fight.

Guess you won't mind been stabbed in your sleep, since surprise attacks makes no sense to you. Besides try imagining fighting Flash, maybe if you can do that you make begin to see from my angle.

This ain't military tactics we talking about ninjas. When has surprise attacks affected the uchihas? Their sharingan can see the attacks coming and they have izanagi to control attacks that they can escape. If someone as young as itachi knows and can use both izanami and izanagi, what about his elders? Are they that useless? It must be that they are that useless.

So because they can see attacks coming, they can't let down their guard? If they were that useless, the village would have engaged them in war and end it swiftly. Mind you, what Itachi and Obito did was what Danzo was thinking of doing with both ANBU teams.

If you can't see any reason with all these, then let's end the discussion here.

Why try to justify this plot? It's easy to accept that the plot sucks or uchihas are useless.

I've got nothing on minato or obito's technique.

You are the one creating plot-holes, that's why I did not accept them.

Well, I was wrong about the Uchiha/Senju bloodline thing but even without that hinderance, the Uchiha did not expect the attack. I don't know if you know sh*t about military tactics but if you do, you should know that those that use surprise attacks do so in order to catch the enemies unprepared. The key thing here is unprepared. If the Uchiha were prepared and were defeated, then its another case.

Where exactly were the uchiha clan members when the obito-controlled kyuubi was busy destroying the leaf village?

And what grudge did obito have against his clan?

Don't mind him ooo. Itachi who was already ANBU and was well trusted in the village. You think it was for nothing? The Uchihas who could not even notice the MS Itachi had will now be able to combat him?

We really have to think things over before we start complaining of plot-holes. Am not saying that Naruto does not have plot-holes, but its wrong just to start creating plot-holes when there is none.

What happened to izanagi and izanami? Izanagi is used for surprised attacks or are you still going to tell me that only those two know about it?

Danzo convinced the third hokage to order them not to interfere.

My point is simple, the plot is silly or the uchihas are useless choose.

How many Uchihas knew about Izanagi and Izanami? Those jutsus are forbidden and they involve the use of both Uchiha and Senju genes/bloodlines, which the Uchihas did not have.

See, if it was that they faced each other and fought, you may find faults(which will be hard, considering how troublesome teleportation jutsus are), but it was a surprise attack, an ambush. What do you want to talk about Minato's flying rajin jutsu(which is a similar jutsu with Obito's teleportation jutsu)?

Knowing how strong the uchiha's sharingan is, one is expected to know that itachi and obito alone cannot, never defeat them except they are just a clan made of about 101persons minus the 2 that defeated them making them 98.

My point is simple, if it's the same uchihas that fought the senju before the inception of konoha that those 2 defeated, then that whole plot sucks big time.

You even forget that in those times, there were special Uchihas and Senjus who were notches above the rest. You are here complaining about them not discovering Obito's technique, how long did Obito and Kakashi fight before Kakashi noticed anything? You make it look like Kakashi just looked at him and boom! All of Obito's techniques are known to him. The Uchiha, who were surprised with an ambush by the best of them is now expected to find out the technique within seconds. To make your argument worse, Kakashi could only counter Obito's attack because he was using Obito's Sharingan and therefore could access his dimension, could the other Uchihas do that?

Am not even mentioning Itachi sef.

You guys should stop justifying some plots jor! Obito can finish an entire clan but can't kill kakashi on a one on one combat?
Obito took out the uchiha police station by himself by de-materializing and materializing and yet the uchihas and their useless sharingans couldn't figure sh*t out while kakashi with a borrowed sharingan took one look at Obito and boom! He figured tons of sh*t out.

If you hate Naruto so much, please step out of the thread.
Its awkward that you are arguing like this.... The village had not faced a skilled Uchiha as a foe for some time and obito was very skilled.
Two, it was not with one look Kakashi got to know about Obito's techniques, it took a while before he could unlock things with his observations and it was even an accident that Obito's secret began to leak out.
Then of course if you can't see that Obito was not interested in killing Kakashi off, then I don't know what you want to see again.

Yes!!!!! One thing I observe about our story is that it has too many Characters that at a point I don't seem to remember what this character is. Pls try n do something about it. Like trying to refresh our memory who a character is in Parentheses. God bless bro.

Well, many of the characters are minor. For the main characters, they are not more than ten and they keep occurring in the story.

The story is almost rounding up so am not sure if I can start explaining each character in Parentheses. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Made had gone missing for two days before Tade got wind of it.

"When last did you see him?" He asked Sodiq, one of his roommates.

"He was leaving for church sir, that's all I know. It was in the hostel."

"How do you know he was leaving for church?" Williams asked.
"He said so." Bode, another student said.
"So, he left for service and did not come back?" Dolapo, leader of the student security team asked.
Yes na! Made's roommates echoed.
"Which church is that?" Dolapo asked.
"RCCG." Bode said.
"RCF." Some other replied, resulting in a little argument on who is right.
"Stop!" Williams ordered.
He turned to Tade, Dolapo and Samuel, another student activist. "Let's go."

"See, whether we like it or not, Made was kidnapped. All we know is that its either in RCCG or RCF. As RCF holds their services in academics, BOOC to be exact and RCCG in Religious Grounds, let's split. I suspect RCCG but let's go in both directions to be sure. Tade, you and Williams should check around RCCG while I and Sammy check the road to RCF."

They all agreed, so Tade and Williams left ETF and headed towards to RCCG.
Do you know who may have done this? Williams asked Tade, who shook his head in a slightly confused manner.
"You are sure? I mean, in your conversations with him, he should have leaked something out."
"Not at all. Tade replied. He is a church person and I don't think anyone in particular or generally was after him. I heard he was loved by the church members. Who would want to touch a servant of God?"

"Dunnno." Tade said as they got to IGI building,located on the outskirts of the Sports Complex.

"In fact the kind of person Made is, nobody should be after him, what's that?" Tade ran towards a bushy area, sighting an identity card.

"This is Made's own card." Tade said, turning to face Williams, only to see him flat on the ground.

"Will....." Tade's call was cut short as a bulky guy hit him on the back of the head with a huge log of wood.

The bulky guy raised a phone and made a call.

"Kareem, we have Tade."

Dotun stared at the two guests he had. He had heard a lot about Kareem, so to see a slightly lean (according to his estimates) and not too muscular figure baffled him. Well, himself was not too muscular either, so it was fitting to have both of them with similar stature. Kareem was taller though.

The former Student Union President was trying hard to impress Dotun, but he was failing impressively. To try and impress Dotun was quite hard, especially trying to use your persona. Dotun had seen too many important guys that he will be swayed by a mere SUG President.

"We have met your assistant and he said you were not interested, that both of you are not interested in our proposition." The Student Union President said.

"So what are you doing here?" Dotun asked

"You should have respect for personalities." Kareem said, quietly confident. "You should know that for me to be here, its not mere shenanigans."
"I should believe so, but my assistant has ears for good jobs and he can act independently, so for him not to act is tellingly on your job." Dotun replied.

"Well, maybe he does not have ears for an excellent job." The ex-SUG president said.

"Okay, what is it then? If its has anything to do with students am not interested."

"Why are you not interested? "

"That is because its beneath me. Student cult groups, Student politics, all is beneath me. Right now, I am a highly sought after assassin. I and Sunday have chosen our paths and we are not considering going back, even for a second."

The SUG President wanted to speak, but Kareem held him back. "I hope that you don't regret it." Kareem said.

"No, I won't."

Tade sighed. It has been three days since his episode with Made and it still tingles to think that Made, who had initially joined him in this crusade, did not only pull out, but is now also advising him against it. Tade started to wonder: is it against God's will to fight against injustice? Is God not a just God? Even though he was not crazy over salvation and that kind of sh*t, he knew enough to know that God did not condone injustice. So what was Made's problem? Just a bullet shot and he is afraid of death. What a lad!

On the other hand, he was happy that in his own little way, he was contributing to the fight against cultism. The highlight was the impeachment of the president, though the push against cult guys had picked momentum since then.

Meanwhile not far from campus, something was brewing up.

"Oscar, give me that semi-automatic, now!" Someone ordered.
"Trigger, no f*ck up, just arrange that guy and comot! We no want make them sabi say we show until tomorrow."

The voices so stopped and movements started as they crossed the expressway and made straight for campus

"Pastor Uzo! Pastor Uzo!!"
Pastor Uzo, a 5ft3 man was quite the amiable persona, rarely ready to attend to his flock, despite the fact that he was a Part Three Sociology student. His over flogged excuse was that he was into business, which was true, it was also handy to note that h often had time for campus celebrities, even to the extent of dating some of them.

"Pastor Uzo! Abeg wait na!" Made rushed after him. Pastor Uzo, tired of being called annoyingly, turned around and gave that money doubler's smile.

"Mr Oyemade! How can I help you?" He said giving Made a soft punch.
"Pastor, Pastor Sir, I want to ask a question. Is it wrong to fight against cultism?"
"No, its not wrong. God does not condone evil and we as his children should follow his footsteps. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their evil, sparing only Lot and his family. He destroyed Babylon because of their evil."

"We also have died and resurrected in Christ Jesus?" Made asked
"Yes."
"Why don't church folks fight against cultism then?" Made asked."Why was I discouraged from joining them?" He said, pointing to nowhere.

"Who is them?" Pastor Uzo asked
"DSM, Pacesetters, etc." That's the them am talking about. Made replied.

"They are not good role models for Christian living. Besides we are more concerned about the spiritual aspect of a person than the mere physical being."

"Is that so? Abi na because una dey fear?"

Pastor Uzo said nothing but walked away. Made, however was convinced that he had a role in fighting cultism. What his role was, remained a puzzle for him.

As he walked towards his hostel, he heard footsteps. Before he could turn in curiosity, a sharp bang occurred on his head, rendering him unconscious.

A promising, God loving and talented young lady, Oluchi Anekwe, a 300 level accounting student of the university of Lagos who was electrocuted right on campus on the 8th of September 2015, Oluchi had everything going well for her at barely 22, an age which she could have attained by December 5. She was on top of her social and academic life with an enviable grade and her dream of becoming a renowned investment banker was gradually taking shape. Not to talk much, such was her love for excellence before death knocked and left with her, leaving her lofty dreams in flames. So sad she would now be buried on the week she was meant to take her ICAN test. All these would have been avoided if not for some pitiable factors in the education sector of Nigeria.

The above piece put tears on my eyes and sting my curiosity as to what and where the education sector of our dear nation is heading to. Is it into destruction? Taking as aide the lives of undergraduates? Now who is the rightful bearer of this? The Federal Government or school management? Who is to be blamed for sucking the blood of the education sector like a greedy vampire? The most disturbing aspect of this is that, the more the increase in school fees, the worse the welfare of the students. It kept me ruminating on how the combined force of federal government and school management gave the family of Anekwe some long faces, broken spirits and an atmosphere filled with grief. If the electronic cable had been taken into cognizance or properly fixed, would the event that led to the death occur? I refuse to believe the her death was predetermined by any extramental force, I would be right, pointing accusing fingers at at the federal government for not properly funding education and the school management for leaving the cables in such deadly state without attending to them.

According to what I heard and read, this is not the first situation of nonchalant display of cables on the campus. Other universities are not also exempted, there are also such situtations left unattended to on OAU campus, hostels to be precise. With the way things are going, if care is not taken, federal universities will turn out to become a sort of abortion for bright futures. If undergraduates do not stand up to stop this trend, we might be hugging more occurrences. If we continue keeping mute without voicing out on the poor state of our hostels and school environs, we leave the “Monster” no alternative than to continue taking our colleagues.

This is a call-out to universities’ student union government, let us unite and eradicate this cankerworm eating deep into the education sector. Who says it’s not possible? Somebody lied!

I blame the school management. Many at times they sell students short by doing unnecessary projects. For example: in OAU, they are building a glass senate building when the one they had( which they extended not too long ago) has not been exhausted or completely built. Parts of the other one is abandoned and am sure that they have not exhausted all the rooms there. Meanwhile they have not built a single hostel in campus since 1994( or earlier sef). This lack of priority will kill students quickly.

You mentioned two guys like it was just two random guys, these were Itachi and Obito.

To me; Itachi was the best fighter the Uchiha had save for Madara and Sasuke and its pretty easy to see how Obito would have contributed- killing guys and teleporting before anyone could pull any move on him.

Let's not forget that nobody apart from Sasuke seemed to have noticed Itachi's MS.

Yes, the poster should have told her friend since but she was in a tight position. She was afraid for her friend and since we have seen what the friend eventually did, I understand why she was afraid. Your insults and curses have helped no one.
