gtstix: Gudday peeps, pls I need your help. I have two satellite dish. One for MyTV, the other for Multi TV. Now I want to add up to 2 or 3 more lnbs to enable me track other satellites for FTA live sports channels. Please how do I go about it? Which satellites do I need to track? On which of the two dish should I attach the additional lnbs? Thanks in anticipation of your kind responses.

olenyi: Yes there are. But the down side is that because most c band freq's require the insertion of the dielectric plate inside the c band lnb throat, the dielectric will now act as an obstruction for the ku band signals. It's normally used when one is tracking C-Band satellites that don't require dialect like intelsat 20c.

Olamotad: multi is more than boring to me. i have watched a football match repeated 5 times in a week. even movies as well. the gurus. is there any satellite that share same dish position with multi Tv. so i can track it pls?

Trendy247: I connected my 4653x decoder to my neighbour's dish n it was showing but wen i tried installing mine the signal was only showing red. My dish is facing d same direction as my neighbours own. And here are my settings. The green showed wen i connected it to my neighbour's dish.

olenyi: Bro, forget about that dish. That's an old dish which u may not be able to tell how good it still is until u put it to test and then u might be disappointed.

A new and better 1.8m dish now sells for under #11000 and u also have the added advantage of a petallized dish u can dis-assemble, can also motorize it, and give u better signal reception.

Don't say I didn't warn u. Dat dish is not worth the stress. And I believe the owner might be looking to cash in and may want to sell it at not less than 9-15k.

Just save up and get urself a new pole mount 1.8m dish.

Ps** dat could be a 1.2 or 1.8m dish.

FreeTVguru: Let me explain my own opinion about the behaviour of MBC2 on 36e, if fact its among the package of TING (Tanzania integrated Network Group) now this TING guys are getting the signals from MBC2 on eutelsat 7e as their source and gives us the pictures through 36e just the way MBC2 brings us epl and champions league through pictures from Optima sports which happens to be their source, and optma sports is actually located at another satellite (c band). Due to how they tracked MBC2 on eutelsat 7e its when the trouble originates, had it been that they did tracked it perfectly like I did without loosing its signal during the night then we wouldn't see it on 36e with scratches. Even if you can increase your signal at 36e to 90+ % the scratches will not be eradicated coz their source is where the problem originates. Unless TING fine tune their source of MBC2 thing will not change @ mbc2 on 36e. Hope this info will help abit......
