FreeTVguru: Let me explain my own opinion about the behaviour of MBC2 on 36e, if fact its among the package of TING (Tanzania integrated Network Group) now this TING guys are getting the signals from MBC2 on eutelsat 7e as their source and gives us the pictures through 36e just the way MBC2 brings us epl and champions league through pictures from Optima sports which happens to be their source, and optma sports is actually located at another satellite (c band). Due to how they tracked MBC2 on eutelsat 7e its when the trouble originates, had it been that they did tracked it perfectly like I did without loosing its signal during the night then we wouldn't see it on 36e with scratches. Even if you can increase your signal at 36e to 90+ % the scratches will not be eradicated coz their source is where the problem originates. Unless TING fine tune their source of MBC2 thing will not change @ mbc2 on 36e. Hope this info will help abit......

YOU HAVE TO TWEAK YOUR LNB A LITTLE BIT FOR MBC 2 TO GET TO AT LEAST 59% FOR IT TO BE STABLE, THE FAULT IS FROM YOUR LNB, BIG BROTHER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MBC 2. MY MBC 2 HAS BEEN STABLE THROUGH OUT, EVEN DURING SOCCER MATCHES.

olenyi: This freq is on 16'e. That means u didn't get it well while tracking. Go and re align ur dish and make sure 11881 V 27500 and 11024 H 03333 are green.

obnelly: Kd why not re align your dish using intelsat as your prime focus.something is wrong with your alignment or the lnb pointing to intelsat.

down
and a little to ur left. Tweak the lnb to get
the
best signal. input 11940 H 27500 and press
ok
to scan. Also 12275 H 11200. U might be
pleasantly surprised. Also u can blindscan
for
more channels.

olenyi: Set up ur 90cm dish and get joy tv as instructed above. Optimize the signal by fiddling with ur lnb to get the max signal possible. Then under Eutelsat w6, input 11881 v 27500. Then standing at the back of the dish, raise it up a bit and a little to ur right. When u hit green, tighten, and try to max the signal also. Then input 11024 H 03333. Make sure this is also green but don't optimize. Around 55 - 60% is enough. Go back and make sure that the first frequency is still over 75 - 80%. Then blindscan.

When it must have saved all the channels, get ur Diseqc switch and connect this dish to port 1. Connect the joy tv dish to port 2. Then connect ur receiver to the receiver out port.

Now go to menu, installation, select dish setting. select Eutelsat w6. Scroll down to the two Diseqc settings and set their port numbers to 1. Exit and save. Do the same for astra 1N/2abd and set the Diseqc to 2.

Exit and save. Exit all and enjoy. Cheers.

Pls help, my USB drive of 1GB is reading 0.9m
as displayed by Window...

olenyi: Let me try. We all know that when memory devices are labeled, their capacity are most times rounded off to the nearest highest denomination/whatever that is.

So if its reading 900MB, its still Ok. But if its reading 0.9m as in 900kb, then something is wrong.

olenyi: Just like @fairchild said, its more than possible. I've come to realise that most installers who do exploits in FTA are all members of this forum. Any other person not here tend to find it difficult doing what we all take here as granted.

And that's how it should be. Dia should be a difference between us and others.

olenyi: For astra with 60cm, about 20 or so.
For amos 5 with 90cm for optimium signal reception, upwards of 70 to 100 channels.

The best connection now is

1 nos 60cm dish on intelsat 20ku for mytv free channels.

1 nos. 60cm on Dstv position for cnn/silverbird/etc with another lnb attached for multitv.

1 nos. 90 cm on amos.

Dat the best in town now.

Though one can use only 1 nos. 90cm to pick both amos, Dstv and multi tv.

It all boils down to how proficient u or ur installer is.

What's ur location. Shout out to the house and see if anyone is near u who can help u out.
